I'm really giddy about the idea of playing a Qunari in Tevinter next game.
Like, playing one in DA:I was cool, but a bit disconnected. I get the feeling the next game will be where the great Qunari content starts to emerge. Hype.

Love the Qunari. The only non-stock race in the DA verse. I don't understand what are they all about, but that's part of the charm. They are really cool looking as well in DA2.

DAI Qunari look... well, really fat. Not that they're actually fat, but I prefer the body buider look over the weight lifter look.

Oh, I have just started a Qunari, and I totally love how she looks, so awesome, tall, athletic, just great! Hair sucks, but it is not Qunari-specific.

Except for Bull, but he's supposed to fit that "retired athlete who can still get out there" look. But none of my Inquisitors looked that way.

He's a bigger than average qunari, like how Isabela is bustier than average.

Who is the better qunari companion? Iron Bull or Sten? Sten for me.

Adaar and not-Leliana. That's adorable. As for IB vs Sten, I'd say Iron Bull since he's such a chill guy. Tho Sten's understated dry humor is great too. Also on the Qunquisitor's appearance in DAI, I find the female's build just right but the male's seems a little too bulky (?) IMO, probably because I was playing as a male qunari mage and the body just didn't seem to fit. I think it's the huge shoulders/upper body.

Something I caught on my third Inquisitor, where my Bull romancing Cadash sacrificed the Chargers ; way back in Inquisition's early press, the writers said they wanted to avoid any obvious jokes like "no one expects the Thedas Inquisition!". Of course, they ended sneaking it in discreet with the Inquisition soldier before we enter Redcliffe, "no on was expecting us". Here's where they slipped another meme under the radar: Blackwall: You sacrificed your own men. ◾ Iron Bull: I'm Qunari. We don't flinch from duty. ◾ Blackwall: Your men trusted you. You betrayed that trust when you left them to die. ◾ Iron Bull: No. ◾ Blackwall: No? ◾ Iron Bull: Two key differences between you and me, Rainier. ◾ Iron Bull: First, I didn't kill a wagon full of kids. ◾ Iron Bull: My men were holding a position to secure an objective. I mourn their loss and honor their sacrifice. ◾ Iron Bull: And second, I'm proud of who I am. I hope that's not a problem for you. ◾ Blackwall: Not unless you ask me to hold a hill, Qunari

The Arishok in DA2 made me respect the Qunari. He was a tough fight for my warrior FemHawke. I also almost play exclusively Qunari in DA:I. I just love them. The only thing I don't like about them is how they treat their mages the Saarebas.

I usually prefer playing female Qunari, since they look much better in my eyes.
Maybe I'll give male Qunari a chance if their design improves in DA4.

Am I the only one who gets bad shadows around eyes and neck of male qunari
On qunari horns. Is there any significance to horn shape. Any dishonor in broken horns? Do they grow back?
Assumption is that next game might be in tevinter. Are non qun qunari allowed in tevinter?

Am I the only one who gets bad shadows around eyes and neck of male qunari Hmm, I never noticed this. But I think most male qunari look great. Being born without horns is considered a little intimidating or scary, and qunari who saw off their own horns are trying to emulate that. It's why the saarebas have their horns filed down (or broken off or however they do it!). They don't grow back. As far as I know there's no significance wrt horn shape. Bull says the Arishok had a "great rack" and talks about how being hornless is special. He takes a great deal of pride in his own. It probably just comes down to personal taste. Not really. There are qunari slaves (and spies posing as slaves - Bull mentions wearing a saddle at some nobleman's party in Minrathous), and Dorian mentions meeting Tal'Vashoth merchants, but he could've met them anywhere. If he's romancing Bull he discourages him from following him to Tevinter, because even an altus can't protect a qunari wandering willy-nilly in a country known for its anti-qunari sentiment.

I went with the closest broken ones for the Hellboy look. I do like the lore on breaking them for toughness
Did developers say why we don’t see any others besides bull until trespasser

AFAIK the devs haven't said anything. But I assume it's just that they're really, really rare in the South. There were a lot in Kirkwall because of the whole shipwreck incident, but otherwise they're just not very common. Sometimes you'll see Katari from multiplayer hanging around on the battlements, but otherwise it's just Bull and Adaar (and Adaar's unseen mercenary group). <-- Katari

I rather like the horns wrapped in metal (like Katari above), as it fits the whole mercenary aesthetic. Given their line of work, I imagine they might want to put a bit of armour on their horns to protect them or better deflect any blades aimed at their heads.
Also you can roleplay that maybe one of Adaar's horns is half-broken off, so (perhaps feeling self-conscious or annoyed by the asymmetry) they took to wrapping them to appear as they were still intact underneath the metal.
