Of late: Mirror's Edge Catalyst. It was so bad.
Ever??? Yeah, probably Assassin's Creed Unity. Extremely broken, extremely boring. And I love Assassin's Creed. Destiny is a close 2nd.

Moderately recently: The Witcher 2: Assassin of Kings. Awful, awful gameplay. Ever: Master of Orion 3. What a mess.

Has been a while that I played a really bad game.
Recently I'm struggling with Alien Isolation. I love how it nails the atmosphere of the first Alien movie, but I hate how I can hardly pay any attention to it because I die if I stop playing hide and seek with the green dot on my motion tracker.
The worst in memory would be Aliens: Colonial Marines. A cock-up of epic proportions with shitty graphics, shitty gameplay and shitty AI. So many lies before launch.
Kinda sad that they're both from the Alien franchise...

All time is Mind Jack the concept sounded interesting so I picked it up. I regret it.
Recently I've been playing Indigo Prophecy that's pretty shit but in a good way.

Worst game ever... QWOP.... it makes no sense at all.
Worst game lately would be Warhammer 40k Eternal Crusade, it showed much promise but in the end it did not deliver for me, not even when we were able to play as Orks Guess I will have to wait for Dawn of War 3 to get my 40k game fix.

Worst game I've ever played, that's a tough one. If I had to pick one though it would be Assassin's Creed 3. I was so disappointed in the final product because Colonial America is one of my favorite time periods and I feel like Ubisoft just botched it, that and Connor was probably my least favorite AC protagonist.
Most recently I'd have to agree with Mirror's Edge: Catalyst, the open world of that game really hurt it in my opinion. Also, I wouldn't consider this game awful but it really disappointed me and that would be Dark Souls 2. Compared to Bloodborne and Dark Souls 3 I just did not find the second game as appealing or fun.

Of late...can't actually think of anything that deserves the title...may come back with something.
Of all time, Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones (I think that was the subtitle). Hated the gameplay and was the first and remains only game I have ever rage quit and not gone back to. Which is a shame, because I loved Warrior Within.

I supposed I'd need to know how you would define worst in this case. Least compelling? Least interesting? Least Enjoyable? Biggest disapointment?
The disapointment category is damnation. The creators clearly had very high hopes for that game. Great ideas, good looking story, cearly thought out alot of the world. But in the end, they didn't have the budget, or time, or skill to realize that game.
Least enjoyable? Is a tie between Dark Souls (that game and me, just don't see eye to eye), and This War of Mine. You don't have to make a fun game, to make one that simply makes you want to play, to see what happens next. And This War of Mine will hit you in all the feels, if you ever sit down, and think about the choices you make, and watch what the NPC's reactions are.
Least compelling is a tricky one. I tend to forget most games I don't find compelling. And I can't think of any that I would say was the least compelling.
Recently, has to be Witcher 3. So far as I've played it, its just as disapointinng as witcher 2. Everyone and their next door neighbor, all said it was different to 2, and better in every way. And...I'm just not enjoying it yet.

Ever and Lately: Battleborn.
Gearbox has managed to release such an exceptional piece a crap, that I have to say this game is quite an accomplishment. It feels more like a prank than an actual game. It is not just a bad game overall, but it is always trying so hard to be somehow funny and over-the-top that it feels more like a cheap parody than anything else.
Also, even if you want to try to like it, you are out of luck: its community has been plummeting month after month. The average number of players over the last 30 days is about 280 according to Steam Charts. Now you spread that number all over the globe, divide into regions and try to get 10 people to fill up a lobby. So, yeah, it is a failure.

Resident Evil 5 and MGS4: Guns of the Patriots. Is Capcom and Konami on drugs or something? Any Resident Evil after RE 0 sucks, maybe one day they will return to their roots or failing that; give us a remastered edition of RE 2 ( like they did with 1 )

And...I'm just not enjoying it yet. I'm actually surprised. For me, the second Witcher was where it broke, and pretty much everything (writing, gameplay mechanics, atmosphere) clicked in. It may even be that they were writing TW3 at the time, but needed an intermission, so they put together TW2 (and no, despite being good, it's short - you're not changing my mind about that) to serve that role while they put together the ultimate game they could. That said, yeah... Seems like they took the good mechanics from both games (superior combat system from 2, potion drinking from 1, alchemy is mixed from both) and gave it a good thought afterwards to boot.

Lately: Nothing, really. Worst games I've played this year have been mediocre rather than actually bad.
Ever: Sooooooo many terrible games on the Commodore 64, but nothing that sticks in my mind almost thirty years later. I was also around for the 'golden' era of Full Motion Video games on the PC, which gave us some real trash. (Along with a handful of awesome games, like Gabriel Knight 2 and the later installments of the Tex Murphy series.) Probably the worst one I ever played myself was Critical Path.
To be honest, though, my least favourite game ever that I actually played all the way to the end was the Neverwinter Nights original campaign. Ugh.

None I can think of. Bad RPG games, yes. Like ESIV Oblivion. Hours into the game and my fervor for it degenerated rather fast. There's no immersion, no satisfactory feeling the protagonist is doing something to affect the gameworld and the ending was bleh.

Of late? Division. For all time? Let me think... Probably some other piece of crap made by Ubisoft. About 100 dollars, not well spent on my end. I played up until 3 days after the first expansion. It had a good premise but man, the end game sucks.. I've had the worst PvP experience with people talking smack. LoL, CoD, ect did not feel as toxic. I admit, maybe I am not made for the Dark Zone. The NPCS were rough but it felt good to take them down but those Lvl 90+ players in groups of 8 ended it for me.

No Man's Sky for recent.. all time though might be Tribes: Ascend.. a blatant cash grab off of the Tribes' name to help Hi-Rez fund Smite. Hi-Rez pretty much lied about everything they said they wanted the game to be and soon as it moved from beta to release they made it pay to win and abandoned the game after a few patches of buy op items for 4.99$ and 9.99$.

Some really bad games I've played: Batman Begins for PS2 - I never watched the movie, but the game was boring as hell. I'm used to longer games and was disappointed about being able to finish it in 2-3 hours. (not that the shortness made it less boring, the only good thing were Alfred's sarcastic remarks) Spectral vs Generation for PSP - I like Beat'em Ups, I really do, but the only good thing about this game is the intro video. I'm sure more will follow later

Honestly??? Modern Warfare 2 You can hardly see enemies at all let alone shoot at them... during the first mission I ended up spinning around shooting wildly It also took me like a million attempts to climb an ice cliff even though I was doing as the game said I kept falling The guns also sound incredibly weird and like not-gun-like... the characters/plot are basically nonexistent, the graphics are pretty bad... and then comes to the online ive tried it once and it was an awful laggy experience... I also played with Arkhne on the coop thing and that was awful... like the frames per second was about 1 because of the lag and stuff happening I mean it isnt a bad game... just my least favorite out of the ones I own

I know someone's going to have a fit when I'm going to say this, but here it goes: Dragon Age Origins. ....TRIGGERED!!!! Just kidding. To each, their own. If I can derail for a moment, what was it specifically that you didn't like? Or was it an overall/general kind of dislike? Always curious about that since Origins is one of my all-time favourites.

Well the combat system is a disaster and I don't know how BioWare got away with it, I mean the attack animations are horrible and stale, no fluid movement, can't dodge, block, and parry enemy attacks and it's just unbearable. The level design is very shitty I expected that it would be open world like Oblivion @ least and boring fetch quests. The game does have a good storyline and characters and all but when it comes to gameplay the game is a complete disaster.
