Starting on November 10, the service will launch a multi-platform subscription model beginning with a beta on Amazon Luna, and later on Stadia. Subscribers on PC will still get unlimited access to a growing library of more than 100 games for $14.99 per month, including premium editions* and upcoming releases like Watch Dogs: Legion, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, and Immortals Fenyx Rising.
Once Ubisoft+ subscribers request and receive an invitation to the Amazon Luna service and link their accounts, they will have access to Ubisoft games on Luna at no additional fee beyond their original $14.99 subscription during the beta. By the end of the year, subscribers will also be able to access Ubisoft games on Stadia with the same subscription. Stadia Pro will not be required, so subscribers can sign up with the free version of Stadia.
The leaks on Big Navi are legit crazy. I can't wait for independent 3rd party reviews of these cards and equally important, AMD driver status. I really don't want to wait until 6 months after launch for the software to work properly, like with the 5700XT.
When I die, I want Bioware to carry my casket, so they can let me down, one last time.

Drivers are one of the biggest reasons why I still buy only Nvidia cards. I had untold problems with AMD drivers with my last AMD card (generations ago I will admit), but it almost always wound up with me reformatting my PC because of issues.
Mass Effect Trilogy, Dragon Age: Origins, Dragon Age 2, Dragon Age Inquisition, KOTOR, Baldur's Gate, Mass Effect Andromeda, Anthem, Mass Effect Legendary Edition

One o fthe main reasons why I wen tbac kt oIntel was because of m yAMD CPU in my last PC. I think it's likely I'll stic kwith Intel and Nvidia in my PC's from now on. The yseem t oknow what they'er diong as I've nevre had problems with either.

I'm currently on an RX 580 for the past couple of years, to change my real trooper of a R7 280X. What a fantastic card. With the exception of Windows Update fucking up my drivers in a single instance, I have never had a problem with AMD Drivers, to be honest, but I do understand that I am not a metric for driver reliability. I am also not willing to dismiss the large amount of problems RX 5700XT users were facing, up until the March 2020 driver update. I don't want to wait until May 2021 to get a working card. And I want to jump on a card that isn't 2013's top card levels of performance. It's time I got up to date. I dislike nVidia, due to their marketing and pricing, but I really, really want AMD to be better than they currently are. The pricing for that 6800XT is great and even the 6800 is a great card, at $580. I want to see 3rd party reviews and driver breakdowns.

Same.
It's good to see that the raw performance of the 6800XT at least appears to be on par with the 3080. But I'm also waiting on the 3rd party reviews, esp. RT performance.

From what I've gathered, AMD's support of Microsoft's DXR is not dependent on RT cores and that DXR also doesn't recognize RT cores. Meaning that it won't use them. Can nVidia's drivers force RT cores to operate in DXR? Because in that case nVidia wins hands down. From the leaked 3D Mark scores, it seems like AMD is doing better at RT than Turing, but still not as good as Ampere.
But honestly, the RTX 3070 at $500 and the RX 6800 at $580 sound like a steal. That's game changing performance, at that $500-600 segment. They are amazing value propositions. Especially the RX 6800 with its 16GB of GDDR6 vram will also smoke the RTX 3070 at 4k in rasterization. Either way, though, this is great hardware. I don't think you can go wrong with either. However, I would advise anyone to wait for the RTX 3070 Ti, for the likelihood of it having more vram as well. It's a (rumoured) ~10% cut down 3080 with 10GB of vram. Since it's GDDR6X, it will also be faster, making it a better 4k card than the 3070.

I have a 5700XT, definitely had driver issues. For a while after I got it, playing Detroit would just hard crash to a black screen at one point, and this persisted for months (works now).
I'm gonna wait for a while, I can afford to (I haven't bought a brand new game in years, so I'm behind the curve in graphics requirements), but I'm thinking 6800XT or 6900. I'd prefer the 6800XT to be a little cheaper, but it's kind of unfair to expect AMD to have equivalent or superior performance with significantly cheaper prices.
EA fined for gambling by the Dutch court There is some growing concern within EA about the future of lootboxes and the safety cushion of MTX, going forward. Personally, I find it a real shame how EA is the only company being targeted, when I would have also liked to see ActiVision and 2k Games alongside them.

That is in addition to the $10 million fine they are forced to pay for operating their illegal gambling ring. And there is also the looming threat of the class action lawsuit in Canada. Although all these cases against EA are usually labelled "unlikely" to win, sure seems EA is loosing a lot of them.

This model was due for serious diminishing returns to the point of eventually being unsustainable, but I agree that EA is far from the only guilty party here. There’s a case to even establish that Activision and 2K are actually *worse*. In recent years, they’ve pulled more shitty things in their game systems than EA, but somehow EA always gets the most blame, even though things like Overwatch and NBA2K were likely far bigger influences.

I think it boils down to EA spreading lootboxes across far more titles that any other publisher. I mean, there was Madden, FIFA, NBA LIVE, UFC, NFS, ME3, DA:I, DS3 and then there was the attempt at Battlefront 2 that just blew it all to hell. I mean, how many games do you need to milk people out of their money with? It's ridiculous. There's mobile games with higher development costs that make not even half what FIFA makes and are free to play. It's just absurd at this point.
So yeah, even if EA isn't the greatest offender, they are the most frequent offender.

That isn't true though. Take a good look at what Activision Blizzard releases and how many of those have lootboxes, its just because people want to ignore what they are doing. Destiny, Call of Duty, Crash Bandicoot, Overwatch, and Sekiro (I never played it, but there were claims of lootboxes). That is pretty much their entire release schedule under Activision and then add in Blizzard with Hearthstone and Overwatch with Blizzard. So from what I can see if the games that don't have lootboxes are World of Warcraft which is a $15 sub and microtransactions and Diablo 3.
After Mass Effect: Andromeda it seems the only EA titles that have anything that can be considered lootboxes is FIFA and Madden. So if these countries are only going to be focusing on EA they are nothing but morons trying to sway public opinion while ignoring the problem.
Edit: not to mention Activision added lootboxes to Crash Team Racing post release and I think at least planned on added them to a remastered Crash game as well.
