I'm trying to get in on PC. Should be showing in Play First Trials if you have Origin Access Basic, but I only see Battlefield V and FIFA. Update if any other PC players are curious. The trial was eventually posted. I downloaded and played the opening missions with no issue. Although...the Legion of Dawn helmet was equipped in the second opening mission...before you have access to the forge...and I didnt buy anything yet that should give me Legion of Dawn Equipment. Anyways, I should get back to working remotely... Update 2: My plan was to play the 10 hour trial over the course of the week, figuring I'd run into server issues and take a break. But that didnt really happen. I sorta got kicked to the menu screen a couple times right after a mission but didnt loose progress. Most annoying thing was running into the sound bug a couple times. Sooooo...now my 10 hours are already gone and am considering paying a month for Premiere to get back in there... Also, game looks damn good in Medium settings on my old AMD 380.

Has been pretty fun for me so far but haven't played very much yet.
Had one server dropout on Freeplay but that was it so far. A few graphic glitches with things popping in and out too. Still learning the controls and getting the hang of it, it's getting better though.

I had a problem with the mission "What Freelancers Do" where I was soloing and died just as I killed the boss. When I respawned I couldn't open the cage which would normally unlock on the boss' death. I had to restart the mission. This time the boss ended up stuck in the cage and couldn't be damaged. Had to restart a third time before completion!
There are a couple of QOL issues like not being able to dismantle items that were equipped but aren't any more, not being able to dismantle items at all in Vault and the sound of ambient conversations being lost if not pointing in the right direction (not as bad as the demo but still an issue). I got kicked from the game a few times with a connection issue but it generally put me back where I left off so no huge harm done.
Other than that it's been very addictive. I've had no problem soloing the missions so far. The story is good and the characters interesting. I ueed up my 10 hours very quickly. Got to level 8 with level 9 gear. Champing at the bit for the full game now!

Status update: Level 10, 12 hours in. Still no connection problems, but I did just encounter the dreaded Frostbite audio issue midway through an agent mission that was set to public.

12 hours - 1 lost connection, 1 lost audio, multiple good times
Update: Went for the stronghold and in the last 2 hours I've had 5 disconnects and been unable to either revive twice or be revived once and still haven't completed it.

Lost audio once. Alt-Tabbed out of game and had a DX error box in background. Saying I was out of memory.

On PC and using a gamepad. Played enough to complete the main storyline, did not ever play in an organized party. Played almost exclusively on normal difficulty.
Gamepad stopped working during credit roll, after which all controls were unresponsive. Had to Alt-Ctrl-Del out and force close and restart.
Couple Audio losses. No freezes, couple crashes to desktop.
Some issues with joining and being stuck in areas sealed off from the action, particularly in the first stronghold.
One issue (final mission) having the path forward sealed off. We killed ourselves by jumping into lava and the re-load was fine
Very nasty lag on cinematic start-up, screen goes dark and you're running into walls for a while
Couple instances of falling through the map, though this was after mission end
Fort Tarsis is generally awful. Beautiful, but the pop-in is dysfunctional and atrocious. Once got stuck behind the stalls due to pop-in, and had to quit to main menu. Frequently have had to leave areas, wait a while, and then walk back in again to get to quest givers. It seems to often have 2 copies of the suit in place that overlap when you turn it around to jump in. I'd be ok with a loadscreen in the center room over what we got now

Update 4: I did it, went Premium. Guessing if I cancel the subscription and buy the base game, I'll be able to keep the Legion of Dawn stuff. Weird bug with the Marksman Rifle. If you pull the trigger when you have no ammo, it'll still trigger the shooting animation and sound, but no actual damage output. Just waited time that should've been spent reloading. QoL issue with a specific quest. It's a quest that has you go in free play and complete some challenges. One of which is Multi kills. But the game doesn't explain what that means. I assumed it was kill multiple enemies with the same attack, but it really means kill several enemies in a short amount of time. Had to go to Reddit to find out. I ended up doing free play on normal just to get it done. It was unclear, though, whether it only counts in free play or in missions as well. Different users reported that it did and some that it didn't so maybe it's bugged for sone people.

Did anyone experience a bug that won’t let you interact with objects anymore? - I finished a world event in freeplay but couldn’t open the chest - in the next world event I also couldn’t interact with the things I needed to collect ... had to quit freeplay After that I played a story mission and there everything was back to normal but I really hope that bug doesn’t happen again…

Xbox says I've played less than 6 hours, but EA Access says I have less than an hour left in my 10 hour trial and I can't login (Ms message that I'm too early).

But I was stubborn and stuck around trying from different angles until it worked. I suspect it's an issue with the detection of the item and your position to it. I got a prompt to open a chest after I moved a few meters away from it at a certain angle. I went closer to the chest and the prompt dissapeared only to show up again when I moved back.

I'm playing on PC with an xbox controller, and the flying is working much better than in the demo. I had one sound drop towards the end of a mission, and I've been booted off the server a coupls of times at the end of a mission or respawning. I didn't seem to lose progress when this happened.
The only major issue I am encountering is a flicker on the screen. With the recommended settings faces were blurry and flickering. I fixed that by lowering some of the settings, but I'm still getting a flicker with some shadows. There doesn't seem to be any consistency - sometimes it is much worse than others, and other times it's not too bad or non-existant. From what I can gather online this is something to do with a lack of SLI support, which shoudl be fixed for full launch. I hope so, because I'm really enjoying it so far. The gameplay is a lot of fun and flying is a blast. The world is absolutely stunning.

A little horror story from me - a player asked in VOIP to wait for him because he has been in loading screen after loading screen for over 5 minutes. We were moving too fast from Objective to Objective, his loading from HDD was way too slow and all he was seeing from the mission is the timer telling him to move or he will be moved by loading again.
So the lesson (sort of) is - try to wait for the team to load in at the start. I have been waiting for some people over 2 minutes. I usually load a mission in 30 seconds and have never seen anyone load before me, at best they spawn at the same moment as me (SSD users obviously).
Worst thing is - in 98% of the time people just rush to the Objective as soon as they can and don't wait for anyone.

If the PC hard drive slows the loading screen, perhaps Bio made a mistake with their min hardware specs. I wonder what the console players are experiencing?

more likely its a connection issue coupled wiht bad hardware and poor setting optimisation, I normally load up in seconds the problem for me is rubber banding and the stupid "the server will shutdown in 2:00 notices, followed by "connection lost" and not getting any rewards for the various mission things I completed nor any of the loot items I just spent over 2 hours farming up during freeplay… that shit needs fixing

Mike Gamble has been asking around people whether they've had discs with specific (low) RPMs and something about them being fragmented impacting the game, and when someone asked Ben Irving whether SSD would help, he said that it definitely will. I have a fast SSD dedicated to games and I really have little to no issues with loading screens - some of the longest ones seem to be a result of matchmaking going in the background for missions rather than the game loading. I have virtually no loading screens in Fort Tarsis - the forge loads almost immediately. And yeah, I personally recommend people to invest in SSDs entirely irrespectively of Anthem or gaming in general. They are continuously getting better and bigger (and more affordable) and can technically outlast HDDs so long as they're not low quality (which is true to almost everything). I've been using a mid-range SSD for OS for years and ATM I almost can't believe how slow computers are if they use HDDs for everything. Once you're used to your Windows loading in 30-40 seconds or less, you're never going to look back. At this point I only use a few reliable HDDs for file storage and backups and even there I eventually plan conversion (ATM I have a few SSDs for OS, gaming and graphics software).

At this point I only use a few reliable HDDs for file storage and backups and even there I eventually plan conversion (ATM I have a few SSDs for OS, gaming and graphics software). yeah get a 250GB ssd (or larger but not more than 500GB since its just a waste of space and money) for the OS, use a 2TB + spinner for onedrive etc (music long term storage and so on) get a 1TB ssd for games (you can go larger but really its just not worth it, if you need more space then just buy more ssd's) and dont get nvme drives since there just not worth the price premium (especially since in real world use for home users they just dont offer any performance gain) if you dont care about the drive lasting 20+ years you can always put things like one drive on the ssd, but seriously I wouldn't advise this since its constantly eating read/write cycles (especially if like me you have kindle or music library on one drive and use it, the entire time the player is open one drive is performing sync checks and file updates, according to my pc in the time since I built it at the start of December one drive has chunked its way through 12TB of data, an impressive feat given that I only have 150GB of data on the cloud...)

They better fix their damn servers. Just got kicked out again and after ending the session and all loot is gone. 3 Masterworks in this run... this is so frustrating. Why are they too stupid to feed their hamsters so the servers run flawlessly is beyond me. How is this supposed to go when all the other players join on friday?

Unless there's a bug all loot that is epic or beyond shouldn't be lost - should be given to you when you finish the next expedition.

It should be in my inventory right away. What is this crap with "end of mission" and stats. Who gives a damn about XP and that info. Should all be skipped by default and just give me everything I collect right away so nothing is lost. Especially if they are running potato servers.

I have no way of telling. The game keeps doing strange stuff, especially with the server disconnects and reconnecting into a session (after one had to walk all the way to the Javelin). I had 3 masterworks after the last run, but I think 1 or 2 dropped, so should have been 4 or 5 in total then. Who knows. We can't see what is dropping so I really don't know.
