Idiot In a second UUG game me and frankiscrank were adventuring in PUGgerland, we get Goddess/Derperus and we are joined by a Lancer holding Jug and a PPR&Scorpion/Krolord. The Jug is OK and the Krolord is a pleasant surprise as we don't have to clean him up from the floor too often and he does his part well. But comes extraction and he calmly nukes 4 or 5 spawns that happen at the elevator access thus ensuring me and frank get a spawn right behind us, in the lab. Luckily I've still got one nuke so I can even the odds. WTF is wrong with these people? It's the second competent PUG that I've seen nuking spawns on extraction: except scorewhoring what other logic drives them? Is it such fun to kill your teammates on extraction?

From what I can piece together, some are trying to get killstreaks. And I assume SOME of them have a prefered spot of the map, and will nuke anything in their favourite place (though this is seen far less often).

I agree there are a lot of good reasons to use your nukes outside objective waves. Hell, iirc on PS3, you have to against trollectors, double praetorians. But on extraction? When spawns will happen so you'll overwhelm your teammates? Scorewhoring IDIOTS, imo.

Pug rage!
Having been away from the game almost 2 weeks I did a few Platinum pugs earlier today.
Platinum Cerberus on White offered comedy gold, as we had a very foul mouthed Italian pug in the game, it was hilarious, imagine listening to Super Mario cursing wildly, unfortunately he didn't stay for so long as he kept going down every single wave.
"You a n00b, you no a help me you a gonna cry after the game ****ing a n00b, you a learn to play a game!"

Oh yes.. you can imagine how the scorewhoring intensifies especially after they hear a gril's voice over the mic AND realize they are lower in scores. So. Many. W11. Missiles. Sometimes even that doesn't help. And in that case, the little asshole in me usually points this out to them in the sweetest, gentlest voice ever.

Annoying: Soloing garners more of my attention recently than does PUGing. Thing is, making a mess of a solo leaves me with only myself to blame - but in PUGland, mishaps are always somebody else's fault . Such is life.

My problem with soloing comes from the flaws in the coding becoming so much more prevelant. I feel much more at the mercy of whether the game ways to do something really stupid like taking a Ravager blast through two walls (happened to me today), or that Banshee that is omnipresent, stuck in long-range mode and teleporting double length through all the walls (I hear Banshees are even less predictable on PS3? Could just be a console specific thing) so she can be anywhere in the map in two jumps, or a pack of triple-tapping rocket troopers that drop you from full health and shields. And the constant lag spikes from people trying to join your PRIVATE lobby.

Wow
I joined a u/u/g lobby with my Claymore Batdept build and got kicked by 2 Incendiary Reegar AIU's that I had played with earlier today who were failing at trying to be scorewhores. The one guy using his Mic who was not host "Kick him, what kind of noob uses a claymore on an adept" before I could defend my build I got kicked

An Adept with a heavy shotgun seems out of place. What they failed to realize is that your bread and butter power - grenades are off cooldown completely. I do like the Raider Batdept better myself.

High Lord Claymore works surprisingly well on a Volus Engineer. Tuchanka-clan should consider selling the manufacturing rights to Elkoss Combine.

LAG! It was extremely frustrating to use Overload, see the effect pop on the enemy... and then nothing, no chaining to other targets, no damage applied, no stun. Also got to watch my Incinerate just pass straight through a few enemies. Was Gold Geth, so ended up eating the dirt a few times when I would expect rocket troopers to be stunned but instead get to eat a pair of rockets to the face I live in NZ so I'm used to 250-300ms latency matches but this was something else, if I was a Krogan I would have been in rage mode most of the match.

Took a quick break from MEA MP to play a couple gold ME3 matches the other night. Both games had sub 20 N7 hosts. Some things never change huh?

Classic Took a quick break from MEA MP to play a couple gold ME3 matches the other night. Both games had sub 20 N7 hosts. Some things never change huh? Saw a Predator I no attachements N7- 20 something in a Platinum match, they joined midway and I wondered why they spent most of the match dead or literally hiding behind crates not even popping out to shoot/use powers. I just imagine some poor rookie first day out of basic training turning up to the battlefield and wandering round in a daze while the veterans hold the line and save his ass repeatedly.

Pulled Condor/Geth. Great ... Had a couple of pugs in spectator mode during wAve 1, and 2, and 3, watching me popping Ops packs and Gels left right and centre. Lot's of rage. Out of everything consumables-wise by mid-wave 3 my pugs left since. Resorted to meleeing bloody Prime back to where it came from out of blidning rage and since there was nothing else left to be hitting it with. Should have stopped there. ...In the second match went for Smashdept w/ Wraith and some low level consumables again (never learn eh). it turned to be Dagger/Collectors and quite early on a lonely DI joined up wielding Cryo Viper. They looked like they were either freshly promoted (the Recon mine/Cloak clearly took a bit of a cooldown time) or a fresh card altogether. They' were doing allright too, either a veteran or a an alt clearly, doing all the right things popping bugs heads not missing any aboms. me? well not so much, taking dirt naps like there's no tomorrow, rage gellin/rage nuking and shit. Somehow despite my apparent scrubbiness we managed to get past w6 objectives and moved onto w7 (my favourite collectors wave)... When i saw Silver revive model pop for the poor sod after another valiant revive and with no gels leftt the only thing left for me was to leave in shame. Felt quite bad about abandoning them so i tried rejoining the map combo after reequipping some gear to see if i can help them but looks like they decided to settle for the credits or just left So yeah... Nothing to be proud of.

Yes I will do, I've been in one lobby that felt like the host was in either NZ or maybe Australia since I started playing again, and I was just sad I didn't bring something projectile based so I could bask in the glory of low latency.

OP pugs? The mobs ran. I've been noticing some weird bugs lately. Mainly with Atlas trying to climb over an obstacle. Like a console, or a beam. They would stagger and then vanished under the floor, never to appear again. I didn't notice if anyone got a kill of these vanishing atlases.

Had the same bug on Vancouver last night, it went to step over the vents and then plummeted 5meters under the map, it sat there for a good 20 seconds before simply reappearing as if it was stepping over the vent again. It was being attacked and got staggered before it completed this animation and then sunk half way into the floor before dying. I just wrote the whole thing off simply as weird shit that happens with a laggy host in ME3MP, but I suspect now there are trigger situations for it.

Can't cheese all the time. Although warp+warp ammo is dirty too. I prefer claymore to raider just cause I like the idea of more weight hitting the enemies during the batarian light melee rush. Competent PUGs in ME3 have been better for me recently. Strong players using less OP kits well. My Carnifex Human Engy watched a Wraith AA wreck yesterday. (Ok I didn't watch, but they were impressive.)
