RARRRR!!!

My KroSent is 3 games away from completing Blood Pack Mastery (again, lost count but I think it might be the 17th time) and he headed off as part of a trio. The other two were low level but had appropriate consumables equipped. We got Collectors on Dagger. OK. This could be interesting. They were both dead within the first minute, both on stupid parts of the map. One was a Geth Trooper who didn't seem to realize that you don't actually have to go put into the middle of nowhere looking for the enemies, they will come to you. I also got taken down when I was on my own, and for a nanosecond I thought about not gelling, but that's just not the Krogan way. We got Pizzas on 3, Targets on 6 and Pizzas again on 10. I had to clutch a couple more waves, and had another dilemma on wave 8 about whether or not to use my last gel. I did, and I'm glad I did or we would have wiped. I was also last man standing as I delivered the last Pizza and I could see the volley of Psion bombs on its way. I got health-gated but just managed to get into cover around the bottom corner, and then finished off the wave. Extraction wave was a doddle, although one of the others did use a missile which might have come in handier during the objectives. Still, full extraction and my Krogan pride intact, with more Gold medals than he usually manages, including Revives, obviously. Worth noting that I was using the Crusader with Incendiary ammo, and it made things much easier in this instance than some of my usually favoured shotguns. I don't normally like being the hero, but if I have to be, it's nice to be playing my favourite character.
