Dude was missile glitching, but something seemed off with it. The odd part was the dude was host or came back in as the 4th and I didn't think you could do it as host/4th player. Only thing I can think of is he started a game to get people in and leave, however he was getting missile launcher kills early on. He'd leave around wave 5 or 7 and come back in and I wouldn't hear him fire the rockets off like I thought you had to do. Annoying to say the least.

Duos

I had a couple good plat duos yesterday in the afternoon, in the 25-28 minute range which is pretty good for us console plebs. Sadly in our last one I got grabbed by a Banshee that must've come from halfway across the damn map to get me right in the beginning of wave 10. Host couldn't clutch the escort and we failed. His TGI also refused to detonate my Snap Freeze (in his defense he could've not specced Overload) and nuked extraction waves (I've been noticing a lot of pugs doing this lately).

Spoiled

Ran into an alt banner player (ShalviaBlack?) that I tried my best to gel with and had some good games. Later we were joined by PowerDandy who did his regular cursing over the mic and the SB left.

If SB lurks, or are indeed an alt, I apologize for my suicidal kit on the last game and for PD's language. He's a decent player, but a real turd if he thinks people care to hear him talk.

Rage, glorious RAGE

White/Damntoasters/Gold

Toasters. Running on windows. Missiles. In their face.
Also impossible to grab sometimes. It´s not like I still need 100ish grabs for my dog of war banna. #biovarpls

Efficiency and I don´t go well together.
Besides the issue was that I couldn´t grab them at all, despite being in a spot where it´s deffo possible.

Sol'o

Tried several times to find a Gold lobby, ended up in Bronze on my third try. Attempt #4 landed me alone in a lobby. Fine. But if I'm going to host, I'm going Novaguard, dammit. Loaded up some disruptor ammo so I could have something to detonate, set it to UUG, and started by my lonesome.

Rolled Goddess/Reapers. Not my favourite choice for a CQ solo, but it could be worse. Wave 3 was a hack on the bottom by the crates. I tried to glitch it, but either I forgot how to do it or simply messed it up... four minutes of kiting later, and it was done.

Wave 6 was also a hack, but this time in the lab. It took slightly less kiting than wave 3.

I have a love-hate relationship with fighting banshees and brutes with a Novaguard. On the one hand it does keep me on my toes (Reapers are my favourite faction to melee against), but on the other it feels like it takes forever to whittle them down with nova/charge without getting grabbed.

On wave 9 I won the PuG lottery, in as much as my lobby was selected as a destination for PuGs. Huzzah. Er, let me try that again. Huzzah! I still had plenty of consumables left, minus ops packs, and I feel like I could've had the solo, but it did take the pressure off when two of them stuck around and I was genuinely happy to see them.

Wave 10 was a terribly anti-climatic targets. One of the PuGs decided to missile all the things, not that I could blame either of them -- I'm pretty sure it was a rough connection for both. Full extraction was achieved, if a little messy. Thanks for sticking around!

Next time I try a UUG almost-solo with a Novaguard, I think I'm going to dust off the AC5....

Boss mode....





Collectors/White/Gold





I finally bit the bullet and purchased a used slim ps3 (my fat ps3 died and Sony stated they don't service them anymore)...but when i got my hands on a working controller?.... ....that thang felt like controller porn in my hands....for the LONGEST time i was playing with a controller that would always point up and moves sideways to the left...even in cover.





There was a Turian engineer, a human adept and a human engineer.....and myself the Phoenix....this guy had a great connection too...even with Collectors.....it felt fun taking on Scions lighting them up with incendiary ammo and then BC him for an explosion and then continue more hit and run scenarios.....i clutched waves 6, 7, 8 and 10 with all of the team dying around the mid-level of those stages...but it felt good tho......i forgot how fun this game was with a working controller and a great connection....



This MP for me still s**ts all over Andromeda's MP....i luv the phoenix!.... 




Lastly i will probably try to get my fat ps3 fixed at a mom and pop shop....thing still looks brand new it's just that it doesn't work...i'd hate to throw it away...

Humbling

Just goes to show that pugs are elite while the bsners are the real scrubs

Dream

Haven't played in real life for a while but I did have a dream the other night I was playing a kroguard smashing and head butting all the things. The krogan was twice the size than he normally should be so I don't know if this was all some strange message to get some games in soon

I should remember I´m not playing on a maxed manifest, so I can not so easily curry a leech or 2 thru plat.

"Infiltraitoring"

Ended up in a lobby where all three pugs (including one Alt banner user) were running Infiltrators. I didn't want the aggro dump, so I made the rare switch to my SI+Claymore. TC remains a "win at the cost of your teammates" button - even when all are using Infiltrators. 10 Revives later, we get our extraction. 

Plat games are even worse, since aggro is more intense. Poor pugs, I'm not running TC kits for a while.

"Contributing"

Entered into a lobby with two fresh manifest players, but they were kitted up. I knew they were looking for assistance, so I brought My TSol out for duty. The pugs did much more than their scores reflect. Volus was doing what they could to keep the others up. I could trust the host to tie up the bugs too. 

Doesn't matter whether I've been playing everyday or not played for weeks. I'll die quite soon in my first match of the session. Yesterday it got me hammered by an angry krogan warlord before he picked me up. I'm guessing I'd ruined their waves survived medal as i'd joined gip.

And guaranteed I'll die just as soon as i've commented on the X-waves survived medal popping.... 😋
