Does a crafted The Skin That Stalks/Strikes/Shields count towards the stacking bonus for the Taken Shape? Does it count as one of the four items, or must it be the looted The Skin That Stalks only? Anyone know or test?

Yes, crafted armor counts. As example, I made this armor before I fought Corypheus. Same armor as here It stacked.

I just prefer my with Tier 4 mats crafted armor to the one you can find.

Yeah, I did the same with Demetria, my Rift Mage. She wore a crafted Skin That Stalks armour in Trespasser with the three accessories and it worked too. The pre-made armour you find in the ancient jail is glitchy after battling the big Saraath boss. Don't remind me

Don't remind me I don't know, I thought my glitch was pretty funny (You can see me just pause when it happens and look around, like "What?!") It is very strange though, to see everything but where the clothes are. Like the opposite of Invisible Girl. A true invisibility cloak! Anyway, it seems to be caused by using Anchor Discharge with that armour set. Also, it bugs me to no end that you can't use the colours of the default set on a custom one

The red and black colours on the default armour are deeper shade. Doing the customized one, the same colours look lighter and faded... ugh.. Exactly! Deep red and black is one of my favourite colour combinations. I get that Bioware was trying to be immersive with materials having their own colours, but next time, please just give us a normal selection of colours to work with how we want Besides, clothing dyes are a thing in Thedas, so it's still immersive.

I feel like I'm the only one who finds the default colors a little dull. (I even dyed that armor differently)

Well, since colours are basically the definition of subjective, I'm sure you're not Yeah, since I couldn't use them, I had to come up with something else for my playthrough. The result: Do you like those colours? I like your white and purple, though I probably would have switched their placements. Exactly! Deep red and black is one of my favourite colour combinations. I'm glad someone made that, but unfortunately no, I'm not on PC. Hopefully, Fallout will pave the way for mods becoming standard on consoles (though not if Sony has anything to say about it, apparently). I'm tempted to download DAI on my PC laptop, so I can play with mods. It's cheap to buy on Origin now, yes? I wish my PC could run DA:I And yes, it's cheap. You can get the GoTY for $20 I believe.

Unless there are mods to get everything at once. Um.. Your Mage Inquisitor on your avatar, is she infected with red lyrium? Schematics should sync through the Golden Nug, if you login to Origin with the same account as on your console. But yeah, you'll have to collect everything else. There are are mods that make it possible to "buy" Tier 2 and up materials. You can pay 0 gold for each if you want. Start with Redcliffe Crafting Supply and then follow the links in the Nexus description to the other merchant mods.

Here how I dyed Haya's armor. Bloodstone, King's Willow Weave and... I forgot which Leather I used. Tried to match the colors of the armor with her Vitaar. (dying the top white looked weird, so I dyed it brownish, like her skin) I switched the color placements for Bruce's armor Lazurite, Silk Brocate (I love Silk Brocate) and Avvar Cotton/Twill (the one that's really white)

Hey Gilli , did Bruce wear white and silk brocade for the keeper's robe armor? He looks good in those colors. BansheeOwnage Whoa... I never notice Calpernia's armour makes a human lady Inquisitor's arms look buff! No, that was Silk Brocate + Nug Skin *cough* The Nug King judged him. Thank you can't imagine him in something else then blue Btw it's Sidony's armor from Multiplayer, not Calpernia's Sidony, with arm armor Calpernia, without arm armor

Oh, sweet! Then there's collecting all the armour, weapon schematics and everything else again... Unless there are mods to get everything at once. Um.. Your Mage Inquisitor on your avatar, is she infected with red lyrium? Actually yes! I'm glad you noticed, because it's kind of hard to tell in the avatar. Thought I'd be all festive and turn her into something scary for Hallowe'en Here's a comparison: The original one. And the Red Lyrium one I made for fun. I made her paler, gave her red eyes and fangs, and obviously, there are a whole bunch of really painful-looking red lyrium spikes sticking out of her (and growing out of her scars) The one in my avatar also has horns, just to make it more obvious I changed it because like I said, it's a small picture. Oh, sweet! Then there's collecting all the armour, weapon schematics and everything else again... Unless there are mods to get everything at once. Schematics should sync through the Golden Nug, if you login to Origin with the same account as on your console. But yeah, you'll have to collect everything else. Oh right, I forgot it was linked to your Origin account. That's cool. Will come in handy if I ever do get it on PC. I don't know. Sometimes glitches are funny and infuriating at the same time. I was originally going to make mine purple to match Rowan's tattoo/eye shadow but the shades weren't quite right. Silk brocade is one of the best looking materials in the game! Yeah, maybe they couldn't make it work for Calpernia, OR the MP team liked Calpernia's armor, but wanted to add something special and then the SP team thought /That looks cool, let's use it for the Inquisitor too!/ ...true...

On that note, I couldn't help but find it... amusing, that we got that armour in Trespasser. Because it kind of makes her look like she's already gotten a replacement arm Ooh.. Such foreshadowing I looked back on a few pics of my Inquisitors wearing that armour and it does look like their arms are buff. If it's an elf, she kinda still has spaghetti arms and a dwarf looks stocky ;P True. Yeah, maybe they couldn't make it work for Calpernia, OR the MP team liked Calpernia's armor, but wanted to add something special and then the SP team thought /That looks cool, let's use it for the Inquisitor too!/ ...true... The armoured arm on Sidony's armour reminds me of automail from Full Metal Alchemist. It sort of looks bulky, because why have the entire arm plated? Unless it's to protect the anchor maybe? *shrug* I'm happy, I'm not the only one who got reminded of FMA by looking at the armor.

It sort of looks bulky, because why have the entire arm plated? Unless it's to protect the anchor maybe? *shrug* My impression was that it's due to the positioning of that arm in combat, for a righty like Quizzy. Visualize the mage combat stance (or go up and look at Sidony again). See how her body is angled to present less of a surface area to strike, and the left arm ends up covering a lot of that visible area? So that arm basically just became a mage's first line of (torso) defense and it makes sense that it would be heavily armoured. At least, that's how I (over)thought about it It's the same reason Cullen's left pauldron has an extra little lip extending outwards to block decapitating strikes, since most of them will hit that side of his body (though I'd still have it on both of my pauldrons to be safe). For reference: Oops, wrong one But you're right, another good in-story explanation could be that it's giving the Anchor extra protection
