www.ea.com/games/anthem/news/update-031519In the latest server-side update, we’ve made some notable changes to the loot drop rate in specific scenarios, which will take effect immediately in a server-side tuning update (you will not need to download anything.) These changes include: - Masterwork & Legendary drop rates have been increased for Grandmaster 2 and Grandmaster 3 difficulty levels.
- Masterwork & Legendary drop rates have been increased for harder enemies at all difficulty levels. This includes: Legendary Titan, Epic Titan, Legendary Fury, Legendary Acid Ursix and Legendary Luminary Elder.

Unfortunately, the loot drop rate might not matter any more: Power Scaling: why loot doesn't matter any more.
TL;DR - the average power scale of your gear determines a fixed damage multiplier. So it doesn't really matter what your weapon or build is, all that matters is increasing the nominator of the average and decreasing the denominator. Any legendary weapon can increase the nominator.

As one who basically just stays on hard mode for general solo activity, this makes me happy. I can spend a couple hours just out in freeplay, and while I'll always enjoy going far out and finding something beefy to kill, it's always a little sad to come out with nothing but rares and epics for my effort.

Dope. Already been farming Masterworks in Tyrant Mine on Grandmaster I (getting one from each chest and the final boss, minimum). I’ll keep tabs on any extra drops from high-tier enemies during the objectives, too.

I made a joke yesterday that Anthem will announce increased loot for the 16th because of the TD2 and ending of many 1-month Origin Premier subscriptions...Guess it was no joke, lol.

I'm enjoying the new drop rate better, two Legendaries so far. Unfortunately, the loot drop rate might not matter any more:Power Scaling: why loot doesn't matter any more.

You're saying that as if it will never get fixed.

For those saying the scaling issues are being fixed, they're not. You'll now need to equip legendaries in every slot instead of just unequipping all but a few legendaries, but the damage disparities will still there, the armor/shield scaling happening in reverse will still be there, inscriptions generally having minimal effect compared to average gear score will still be there.

The community manager responded in that same thread with the following: Scaling still needs to be looked at (if not outright removed). That's likely not going to be completed until May/June.

ok, I am probably the unluckiest (albeit equipped with 88% luck) player ever ... after 95 hrs I only got my 2nd legendary EVER just now in GM1 freeplay (after roaming for about an hour incl. 7 world events this session all in all gave me: 10 blues, 30+ epics, 3 MWs and said legendary ) I play exclusively GM 1 - don't want to be a liability for the team - so yeah, me iz a sad panda right now that the loot changes are only live for GM2 and GM3

They also buffed drops for certain high tier enemies such as legendary titans and furies. Play Heart of Rage up to the second chest and you can benefit from this, even on GM1.
