I missed the part about loot. What did they change with bosses? They upped the chance for loot for Gm1 through GM3 if I remember right but hard on down will have no changes now keep in mind they are looking at luck so hehe your guess is as good as mine

I'm just glad they are doing something about the Strongholds all I can do is the Heart of rage and that's only after several try's to start at the beginning not the end which they did mention fixing.

Boss Changes
* No more starting at the Monitor in Heart of Rage
* More loot from bosses, 1-2 gauranteed, then 3-4 rest changed to random roll (uncapped)
Legendary Missions
* Replay critical (story) path missions
* One mission available per day, changes every day
* Six missions initially available
* Chest with the loot at the end
* Epic mobs with a loot table
* More difficult overall, with enemies a tier up from original mission
* Can rewatch cutscenes, can skip if all four party members hit escape during cutscene.
Improvements and Fixes * Forge now immediately accessible via menu, can do so via expedition end screen as well * Components now visible in equipment summary in Forge * New Field of View options, multiple choices * Fixed respawn timer when revive attempted * Implemented DLSS in this update * Quickplay will no longer queue you into missions more than 2 minutes in * Instances that run more than 15 minutes will get 'locked' to prevent loading into broken runs. * Performance improvements * Salavaging should feel "snappier" * Interceptor can press and hold button for continued melee * Masterworks have been buffed/fixed. * Armor/HP bug still being worked on, some fixes in. * Scaling issues are actively being looked at, but there's multiple components to the issue. Some nice changes there. Many thanks for this changes at Heart of Rage.

Those are some good changes, really liking the option to replay story missions too can we see our face in any helmet now or still only the default? I'd just like them to add some minor regen to the colossus, not much, say 5% every 5 seconds or something, just to give it a bit more survivability.
Just my thoughts.

Cosmetics are unique to these chests, there are a certain number you can get and you will never get one you already have. If I remember, this is guaranteed by never joining you to a stronghold more than 5 minutes in. You can replay the same mission as often as you want for that day. Difficulty is close to Legendary Contracts and Strongholds. I'm pretty sure he started to say that about cutscenes but then seemed to change his mind. Via menu in Fort Tarsis or the end screen but not while the Javelin is actually in play. The transition is pretty instantaneous now. No load screen at all either going in or out of the forge Field of View is only for PC. It's too resource intensive to work on consoles. Won't work with Ultimate but they are looking for feedback whether people want that too. Also smoothed the transition going in and out of deep water. All in all it looks pretty sweet.

I think they didn't touch GM1 other than the general thing of bosses dropping more. It was GM2 and GM3 where they upped the drops more significantly. Particularly GM3.

If there isn't a chance to get a Legendary from a boss - people will still leave before the fight. Very few players in GM2 and none in GM3 have any use of Masterworks. They need to give Masterworks a significant boost and extra inscriptions for anyone to bother. the 3-4 are random, and as such shoud be possible to be legendary.

Oh, that was priceless. Owen was bugged and they couldn't revive him. Someone behind the scenes had to force the mission complete, lol (because every player can do that at will, amirite). Then from the new Legendary mission chest they got 3 purples and a blue, rofl. "It's just GM1"...and that makes it all right...how exactly? You are supposed to play GM1 to prepare for GM2, not get the same trash you get on Easy. No wonder there are so many leeches in GM2 lately.
They do have time till next week to iron out issues, but, boy, how embarassing was the whole thing. Some of the most glaring game issues right there in the showcased Legendary mission (should we name it Epic mission?)...and the devs laugh it up as if it's working as intended. Perfect chance to acknowledge "oh, yeah, we see the problem. We are on it", but we get "It's how it is" and a smile.

If they pull this right it can actually help a lot to retain players. Something like 10-20% drop chance in GM1, 30-40% in GM2 and 60-80% in GM3. Hell, GM3 should be a guaranteed Legendary and a chance for another. But if they go with the classic Bioware 1% drop chance...

Are you sure he was bugged? He has to remain wounded until you finish off the bad guys, I remember that happening to me. Once you clear out the enemy you can then go back and revive him and you have a conversation but before that he just appears with the downed symbol but you can't interact. Pretty sure that's intentional.
It was funny about the loot being just epics and rares given that they'd just be discussing the fact that they were boosting loot but that's when they made the point that the boosting was more for GM2 and GM3 and they were playing on GM1.

aaaah, that were exactly my thoughts: "Oh no, it is bugged - how embarrassing! Please let it work, let it work! otherwise it will fuel the negativity and play into the hands of the Anthem-Haters"
but other than that I really like some of the changes! It is a huge step in the right direction
Are you sure he was bugged? He has to remain wounded until you finish off the bad guys, I remember that happening to me. Once you clear out the enemy you can then go back and revive him and you have a conversation but before that he just appears with the downed symbol but you can't interact. Pretty sure that's intentional.
It was funny about the loot being just epics and rares given that they'd just be discussing the fact that they were boosting loot but that's when they made the point that the boosting was more for GM2 and GM3 and they were playing on GM1.
could be - we'll probably just have to wait and play

yeah... loot... that really was epic (pun very intended!) ... Yea you can't revive him until all enemies are clear. I recently replayed it and tried. He isn't like the NPCs you encounter in some other missions where they help fight if you revive them during the encounter. I didn't think it was a bug, because he's wounded and a crap pilot, so you are just supposed to be saving him there.
