I take this to mean no Malkavian at release, we are missing a stealth archetype and obfuscate makes more sense as the Nosferatu's unique discipline than as the Malkavian's one. Or Lasombra. They are some hints in this regard (some clan have no shadow) but who knows the last clan picture could be anything.
The malkavian dlc is something like the Javik or Kasumi DLC. They recorded the malkavian npc reaction with the maingame but release the DLC 2-3 after launch.
Not Lasombra, while it is teased a lot by the devs, they said they are prioritizing Bloodlines 1 and Camarilla clans. Also, Lasombra are similar to Ventrue, just more evil about it (master vs slaves mentality). Two of their 5e abilities are uniques to other clans in BL2 too ( Dominate, Obtenebration, Potence). It does make them easy to add as a post release DLC though. Neither the Javik or Kasumi DLC were free (Javik was a bonus for the Deluxe version I think?). Nor were Sebastian or Shale DLCs for that matter (bonuses for higher paid version or pre-order). That's actually what I meant by "no free DLC" will ever do the amount of new dialogue required.

And which clan fits more than Nosferatu.
By the way the video is online again.

The image for the last clan seems fitting for Nosferatu, but I could see Lasombra or Banu Haqim being the last clan as well. We don't have a stealthy clan and all 3 fit the archetype pretty well. In V5, a small group of Lasombra defected to the Camarilla and the Banu Haqim also joined, so there's no problem on that front.
Gameplay wise, Nosferatu fits well with the other clans' discipline motif of having a signature discipline (Obfuscation) and a shared discipline (Animalism). The Lasombra, while having a really unique signature discipline in Oblivion/Obtenebration, suffers in that its possible shared disciplines are other clans' primary discipline (Potence and Domination). The Banu Haqim fare a bit better, with having a signature discipline in Quietus while having a shared discipline in Celerity and Obfuscation. However, I doubt we'll get 3 clans that have Celerity, mainly for the sake of variety/redundancy, and I can't see the Banu Haqim getting another potential clan's signature discipline. If the devs want to stray a bit from V5, they could create a great stealth clan by giving the Banu Haqim Auspex, sharing the discipline with Tremere.
All things considered, even though the Nosferatu are a safe and easy choice, I think we'll be getting a clan we didn't have in VTMB1 if we go by the banter the devs had in the Ventrue video. I have my bet on the Banu Haqim since they seem like a unique clan from all the others and are quite divorced from their old Assamite selves, bringing something new to the table. The Lasombra would be a great clan as well, but between their discipline issue and their similarity to the Ventrue, I can't see them being the last playable clan.

Would be awesome to have clan Tzimice make it as a playable option.
I always liked the themes surrounding this clan, notably their strong penchant for 'honor' and their rather alien nature due to Vicissitude.
Out of all the other kindred I always viewed them as the least tied to humanity, and our petty mortal squabbles, because of the transformative evolution of their unique discipline. They are capable of becoming something more than a simple parroting of the humanity they've lost but this doesn't automatically mean that they are mindless monsters. Sure the majority of them joined the Sabbat, but even that was driven primarily because of the Camerila fostering the murder Tremere and his stolen immortality; ripped away from the Salubri. They could not abide the wrong done to their kind-hearted brethren and so chose the only other side available.

Okay. I may be persuaded to play Ventrue this time around. That or Nosferatu, if it's available. These clan trailers are pretty cool.

Well now I'm surprised (because I expect Nos over them). Everyone says hello to the last clan reveal. It also comes with a RPS article/interview. From the RPS article they have Dementation and Aupex (same as Tremere). Dementation abilities are Haunt (makes enemies flee) and Berserk (caused enemies to attack random things, including the air).

The Malk in the trailer reminds me of the iconic character we've seen sitting on the ferris wheel. EDIT - "Gameplay reveal E3 June 10" shows during the combat clip at the end as well.

Edit: Too late Kymira was faster.
Well this time it took a bit of time for updating the clan section of official homepage. www.bloodlines2.com/en/malkavianAnd the Livestream had Brian Mitsoda but it was a really bad connection. The most interessing part which wasn´t mentioned anywhere else was that Brian Mitsoda like in Bloodlines 1 voices some NPCs. Maybe even his most memorable role could return in 2. I am speaking of course from Romero. Like Bloodlines 1 it should be an option to bang him.

And yay, my favorite clan is finally announced (beside the Tzimisce, but I don't think, we will be able to play them sadly).
And I really hope, we will get Nossies and Gangrels as DLCs, because I do love those clans too

They will come without any doubt but to be honest i would prefer if we get also one complete new clan for Bloodlines 2. Its really disappointing that besides Thinbloods who aren´t really a clan that Bloodlines 2 a Sequel!!! don´t have atleast one clan which wasn´t in Bloodlines 2.

If I could wish for a clan, it would be Tzimisce, but Lasombra would be great too Tzimisce were very unlikely especially if you want to play a similiar character like Andrei. Also their signature discipline Vicissitude is too "evil" for a western videogame.
They clearly won´t allow us to shape the flesh and bones of humans. So no Tzimsce.
I personally really don´t care which clan makes the cut but it has to be one which wasn´t already a playable Bloodlines 1 clan. But if i have to choose one clan if would pick Hecata (The merge from Giovanni, Samedi and Cappadocian) I would give the Bloodlines 2 Hecata Necromancy and Fortitude as clan discipline. Their clan weakness could be from the Giovanni there their blood victims take more damage from biting

Tzimice and Vicissitude is no more 'evil' than the Tremere and the Blood Sorcorery (IMO). Causing someone's blood to boil and then violently explode just by looking at them is on the same level as being able to mold flesh and bone. Plus, gameplay-wise it could be treated as an extension of the protean discipline from clan Gangrel; in that it's primarily a self buff as you twist and contort your own body to better deal with combat situations rather than targeting others. Though it would be cool to create our warbeasts out of the "clay" around us.

Andrei: Illegals, mongrels, half bloods, and Caitiff; the bane of society, Kindred and kine. They are as of little consequence to authority as they are to me. It is... a culling, of sorts.Polygon/Kotaku, probably: How VtMB dehumanizes minorities and turns them into monsters.

More on that point, it does make me wonder if certain clans will be excluded from being playable since they no longer fit the PC narrative the game is purportedly embracing. "Can't have Ravnos because they negatively reinforce racial stereotypes."
"Can't have Nosferatu because that's body shaming people with physical deformities." Etc.

It's a horror game and I'd rather have Andrei the Tzimisce in it than Edward the glittery fairy vampire Agreed. And more than that vampires, clan Tzimisce specifically, are outside all these notions of racism, sexism & whatever-ism people like to go on about because they aren't human anymore. The whole point of a character like Andrei was that he was this alien personality operating on a wholly different moral code. Was he monstrous to a regular human? Absolutely. But was he somehow racist against minorities? No, at least no more than a person could be considered racist for casually cleansing out a rat or cockroach infestation or a farmer harvesting crops for his own uses. It's those 'outside context' perspectives that helped make WoD so fascinating to me. The games are about playing as the monster, not about appealing to trending social/political issues; there is going to be things that clash quite harshly with notions like that and that's (IMO) kind of the point in a "World of Darkness" and how one goes about exploring it. I really hope that the PC police don't decide that such elements of the setting are suddenly 'wrong' or 'evil' because they don't quite measure up to the golden standard of whatever current SJW measuring stick is popular.

Was pleasently surprised that the Malkavians turned out to be the last clan, though I'll miss being able to play Nosferatu.
If the Malk dialogue and/or gameplay aren't as wacky as last time, I think I'll start by playing that. If they are then I'll do Ventrue first, although they're the last clan I'd expect to accept a dirty thin-blood after just a few short nights of good service. Hope they really make you work for it.
That'll probably mean playing some poor conformist who feels he got screwed over in life before the mass embrace, maybe a disgraced foreman who got caught with someone's wife, sees how vulnerable he is afterwards and is eager to prove his worth to the establishment both to show that he's really on their side and to secure a piece of the pie for himself. There'll probably be a bunch of enforcing the Masquerade, maybe helping clean up other vampires' messy crime scenes and possibly ratting out ones who aren't toeing the line. ...Or planting evidence on those whose more influential political enemies are convinced that they won't anyway.

So there's been a few VtM games confirmed for upcoming release and this one just popped up on Steam. A SP narrative game. store.steampowered.com/app/1096410/Vampire_The_Masquerade__Coteries_of_New_York/Vampire: The Masquerade - Coteries of New York presents the conflict between two vampiric factions: the traditionalist Camarilla and the fiercely independent Anarchs among the iconic landmarks and night lights of The Big Apple. It's a unique, atmospheric, single-player narrative experience, set in a rich, fully licensed, globally recognized universe of Vampire: The Masquerade 5th Edition. Choose your character from one of several distinct Clans Every playable character offers unique powers (Disciplines), different ethical approaches to certain issues, and dialogue lines Character-oriented quests allow you to create your own coterie and shape your relations by reinforcing NPC loyalties Highly replayable - choices made in the game are reflected by the game's changing fiction Various endings depending on your actions - which conclusion will you reach? Suitable for both Vampire: The Masquerade veterans, and fans of mature narrative-driven games who are newcomers to the setting
