DA4 -- An attempt to guess its Bioware given name.

Well so far we've had: Origins, Exodus 2, Inquisition, as well as Awakenings, Legacy, Descent, Trespasser, and the only multi word ones Mark of the Assassin and Jaws of Hakkon

So we're probably looking at a one word title, maybe 3

Dragon Age: Retribution?
Dragon Age: Rebellion?
Dragon Age: Revolution?
Dragon Age: Evanuris?
Dragon Age Fen'harel?
Dragon Age: Reclaim?

Sartoz Yeah, the teaser title is too long for a game title. Catchy titles are usually 1-3 words. It will probably be a 1 word extra thing again so it's not longer than 3 words altogether, relating to the story's theme that we don't really know much about yet. Could be anything at this point.

Rebellion or Retribution as suggested above sounds like a good candidate for something vague, yes. Could be related to Solas and/or a qunari invasion.

Well, there was:

Origins, which involved.... origin stories

Awakening, which involved.... awakened darkspawn

One of DA2's working titles IIRC was Exodus. Which, given people were fleeing the Blight en masse and immigrating to the Free Marches, makes sense

Inquisition was about.... the Inquisition

I'm gonna say it's something like Dynasty or Fog of War or Uprising, depending on what the focus of the game is. I hope it's not The Dread Wolf Rises. Like, okay, Solas is a part of it but I don't want him to be 90% of it.

But there's already a Dragon Age: Redemption...

Dragon Age Imperium would be nice and easy. One word and it evokes at least a notion of the setting even for those who haven't played previous games.

However, as we live in an age of abbreviating everything, playing DAI, the sequel to DAI may be problematic - so I doubt Imperium will make the cut in a one word title.

Tevinter would work for the already initiated in Dragon Age, but not so much for people who've not yet played a game in the series. Also, the teasing tweet fodder of "DAT" would likely drive most of us nuts as Bioware navigated development.

I like Redemption, and I don't think it matters too much that nearly 8 years ago there was a web-series with the same name, but then we'd be subjected to endless "I don't want to redeem Solas, I want to destroy him!" from certain people and the obligatory "why do you assume we're talking about Solas?" response from Bioware. That wouldn't - and shouldn't - stop them using the name if they felt it was best, of course, but it would just be exhausting.

Magisterium?

The name evokes magic for the uninitiated and for those of us familiar with the setting it conveys, magic, Tevinter and politic intrigue (the Jason guy article said an early version of the game had us in the role of a spy or similar).

Sure, but for every one of you - there will be at least three people that can't get past it because "Redemption" was one of the dialogue options regarding Solas at the end of Trespasser.  Never mind the fact that in the marketing "character posters" for DAI, Dorian's title was "Redeemer".
