Hi Sartoz. I have not upgraded the BIOS yet, that's one thing I will work on this weekend....though admittedly, that's the one thing that I am somewhat unsure of doing mysself for risk of really messing things up even more. If I could have someone do it for me, or walk me through the process of doing it safely and correctly, I might feel better about tackling it myself. One way or another though, I do plan on doing that soon. Cheers mate. PS: Let's move this Thread topic elsewhere or continue in PM
Fine by me. But, I thought this was an appropriate thread ==> tech issues
So did I at first...But the Mods have asked me to move it to the OFF TOPIC Lobby. So yesterday I created a new Thread in that area called "Weird Windows BSODs and Crashes" pasting the entire history of problems and trouble-shooting discussion there. Hope it helps.

🔥🔥🔥 GRAAAAHH! COMPLEX ISSUE, RECOMMEND FLAMER OR INCINERATE + A FRIENDLY TURIAN TO DETONATE, BEST RESULT GUARANTEED OR I'M NOT VORCHAINTERIORDESIGN! HOWEVER, IF WANT TO REPAIR SCENARIO IS STRAIGHTFORWARD. MUST COMMUNICATION WITH MOTHERBOARD MANUFACTURER, DETERMINE THAT 32GB IS SUPPORTED (IT PROBABLY IS WITH X99). THEY SHOULD HAVE BIOS FOR THIS, OR PROCEDURE, OR HONEST BAD NEWS. MY GUT (FULL OF RYNCOL AND CHEETOS) TELLS ME THAT YOU SHOULD NUKE YOUR ENTIRE INSTALLATION AND START OVER WITH A NEW WINDOWS 10 INSTALL CD/THUMBDRIVE YOU MAKE IN ADVANCE WITH YOUR CHOSEN OPTIONS. DOWNLOAD ALL MOST RECENT MOTHERBOARD/CHIPSET DRIVERS, GPU DRIVER, ETC, HAVE ON SEPARATE DRIVE. NUKING IS PAINFUL PROCESS. NOT AS SATISFYING AS ROASTING WITH FIRE, BUT OFTEN PROFITABLE. I've wanted to napalm my system, douce it with H2SO4 (hydrosulphuric acid), then drench it in Liquid Nitrogen, drop it from the BurJ Khalifa Towers, run it over with a steamroller.... Then NUKE whatever is left. Oh, and on the miniscule chance that anything, anything at all is left after all that destruction, I would smash the remaining fragments with a sledge hammer then stick them all to a giant electromagnet. But the few days that it does work properly, I don't even dream of doing any of that. But let this be a fair warning.....It can be replaced. With something newer, bigger, better, badder, shinier.....and less prone to annoying me. BUT, my rig has been stable since Saturday...running it over the weekend for an average of 12 hours without issue, and today (Monday June 24th I booted it up at 4:00 pm- as if the time of this writing it's now 5:50 pm ET) without issue so far this evening.

"NUKE" IS TECHNICAL TERM FOR COMPLETE REINSTALL OF OS. I SUPPORT NUKING ELECTRONICS, IT PREPARES US FOR REAPER WAR. I know it's a play on words and a colloquialism that is synonymous in the world of PC and Electronics; though I was using the more literal, destructive term as a hyperbole for how frustrated I've been with these issues. Though I do agree preparation for the Reaper Invasion is a must and we should do everything we can to ready ourselves against such an enemy. "We fight or we die," I once heard Commander Shepard say. The tension was palpable, you could cut it with an Omni-blade. But what guts it took to face down the Council and speak the truth even if no one wanted to hear it. Commander Shepard earned the respect of a great many more people that day, more than he had already. Cmdr. John Shepard. A BIG. DAMN. HERO.

That's good but the problem still exists and will bite you in the azz sooner or later. When you do decide to "jump in", make sure you have a plan.... and stick to it. ...
BTW, can you recall the first time this occurred? Prior to that, did you install something? Do you take a system bkup before installing anything?
Anyway I pop in once in a while to see the "updates".

If memory serves me correctly, the first time this happened....what really kicked things off was when I was downloading the PTS and an Origin Update. 5x I tried to download the Update and then the PTS, and all 5x Origin completely crashed even disappearing from the System Tray right in the middle of the download at about the 23% mark-- with no explanation. Then right after the last one, my PC BSOD'd twice in succession, first with Memory Management and second with Quota_Underflow, one right after the other. Then after that.....there was nothing for several hours........More problems......Then nothing for a few days (all aforementioned 'tests' came back as a "100% healthy PASS"........and so on. The last recorded incident of a BSOD with the Memory Management stop code was on June 18th at 5:02 p.m. ET after installing what was at that time the latest ANTHEM Patch. Immediately after install. I have since gone on to uninstalling the PTS.....and not run into any issues yet as of the writing of this post on June 25 at 5:04 pm ET.

No I don't, never have. Not that I wouldn't, but no system I've ever built for personal use has been compatible with ECC Memory.

Well, after two months of non-stop compounding issues, BSODs and other related annoyances.....I do belieive that I have found the root of all evil!
A single faulty RAM chip with nearly 400,000 errors on it.
Trouble is, my RAM is the RIPJAWS 4 from G.Skill and you can't replace those chips individually......Yes, I've checked Amazon. Amazon doesn't even have'em. Canada Computers does though, but it's four or nothing. But, I guess i won't notice much difference if any at all between 32 and 24 GB RAM. (Hopefully).
I'm just glad that I found the cause.......PAH! (FINALLY!)
