I am kinda glad we can't actually. Talk of taking your cousin out on the town triggers my GTA4 PTSD. You don't want to go bowling with Constantin? Could make it interesting and use those massive raised stones, a boulder and one of them guardians to raise them after you topple them. Just sayin'. Top spot, but haven't got any good pic. So Constantin's glee when you say yes to bowling: Also oof his ankles if he'd made a small misstep.

Today I learned that I love bombs as well as guns in Greedfall, especially magic bombs! Thanks to gunning down Asili, I am now hostile with the Bridge Alliance. Sweet! Also, I learned that if you bring up Constantin's poising, cooler heads will prevail between De Sardet and Governor Burhan after Asili's death. But who wants that.

Finished the game and wished it was longer. Loved my epilogue, it was almost perfect. I wanted to play the diplomat all along the way and managed to be friend with every faction and character while staying true to my values... boosting charisma and intuition helps a lot! I would like to play again with a different combat style (I played a magician, but put some points in guns in the end and it was amazing !). Vasco's last goodbye before the great battle was heartbreaking (but he stayed with his beloved the De Sardet after the end!). I was waiting for Petrus to say... "De Sardet... I am your father !" And I was so disappointed that I coudn't save Constantin, killing him wasn't really a "choice".
I love the fact that De Sardet belongs to almost every faction. Like if she was born to bring peace between all them and heal the old wounds.

I agree with all you said Alysanne! I'm playing a gun/bomb person this time though my 2nd pt is on halt since we had a plumbing issue that now requires plaster work done. So a bit crazy here atm. But as for Greedfall I romanced Vasco first too and I loved my ending as well. As for your spoiler I thought the same thing about Petrus, but was wrong! I'm with you Blast Processor about Burhan. I was able to stay friendly with them last time, this time might be a little different. We'll see.

LOL. Yeah, I really do not like that guy. I don't know if I have a save close enough, but I would love to know if during the coup (with friend Kurt) you could somehow avoid warning the Alliance. And have Torsten take them over if you let him escape.

And have Torsten take them over if you let him escape. I saw a video where torsten had taken over one of the towns (I can't remember which) and de sardat was doing quests for him. I'm pretty sure he had Kurt with him as well but I can't be sure now. I've tried looking it up and can't find it so it must have been a video about something else that just happened to show Torsten as the new "leader." I'll try to find it later if I get a chance or you can try searching around for it

Yeah, if Kurt wasn't friendly Torsten takes over either Hikmet or Theleme depending on your choice. I don't think you can do quests for him though. But you can stop in and say "hi". LOL.

I finally finished the game. Overall, I liked it - the setting was pretty unique and the atmosphere was well done - but I admit I rushed the final few missions to get to the ending, the constant back and forth just got a bit too tedious to the point where I couldn't care about finishing some sidequests anymore. As for the ending itself, it did feel a bit abrupt and without enough buildup, but I can forgive that. The more jarring part was no dialogue options in those final conversations with everyone... I had to headcanon that my De Sardet was just lying through her teeth all that time to get her allies to leave her alone, otherwise her abrupt decision to join Constantine and screw over everyone else really came out of left field... I mean, it made sense to me, the player, since I cared more about my cousin than I cared about any other character in the game, but it really didn't feel natural in the context of De Sardet's previous dialogue. Would have worked better if there were some sort of split quest paths before the ending, one where you gather your forces and another where you just choose to pursue Constantin ignoring everything else, with the intention to save him - except you ultimately learn you can't, it's kill him or join him. But I realize Spiders had limited resources.

One thing that bothered me about the Natives was that there unyielding belief in there way of life was never put under pressure. Like if you chose to question if Queen Blandid would've sold the village out to spare her daughters, Siora's basically, "aren't you an ignorant renaigse." The thought would've never crossed there mind. So I kinda like that Constantin took advantage of the fact that En on mil Frichtimen was a weak ass bitch. Speaking of Constantin, I took this screenshot. In other news I decided to challenge those really high level bandits at the beginning of the game old west style. It took a couple of tries but eventually I was victorious. And celebrated. This was there precious loot.

I was wondering how people upgraded the middle path. Which seemed to be the one that really forced you to choose carefully. ^ That was my first playthrough. In my second playthrough I swapped Mental Power for Willpower. 0 - Strength at least 2 - Agility 0 - Mental Power 2 - Endurance 5 - Guns (I love my Perfect Musket) at least 2 - Willpower

^I helped some guy escape from a Naut jail. The guards didn't much like me after that, saved by a cutscene though. ^Someone told this guy to keep stirring the stew, even if his life depended on it! ^ Poor Kurt. De Sardet has no honor. ^Quick, which one is Petrus?

During the quest Attack on Hikmet (with Hostile notoriety), Captain Reinhild would attack on site half the time, the other half she would attack as soon as the conversation with her ends. If she dies, there is no way to get the information from her, so the quest seems to just break right there. I ended up reloaded until I passed the speech check to get the info, I had to slaughter the whole camp afterwards. Burhan was pleased I saved the camp after completing the quest, I guess he'll just find new guards.
I gunned down Candy Cane, you have to forge a note and use his dead drop to continue the acquire blackmail quest. I thought that was kinda fun. I wanted to alienate Theleme as well as the Alliance, but somehow I still ended up friendly with them. We are fated to be together I guess. I saved that Naut girl that was on the run this time (she died last time), not sure what I did different. I have a few theories.

I saved her on my first run and was very sad to find her corpse on the second. The only difference I can think of is the first time I did the Natives quest about the aggressive Tenlans first, so the cave was safe for her to hide in, and her quest after.

This is the video I was talking about (Major Torsten (and other) spoilers. You are warned!)
In an earlier video he had killed Kurt during the betrayal but I didn't watch to see if he killed or arrested the Lieutenants, then he had to choose on the docks after Torsten escapes to save either San Matheus or Hikmet and he chose San Matheus and I guess that leads to Torsten taking over the other? But then he went and helped him? I got lost at some point, lol.

Some other theories I had was it being tied to how fast you got there, like how Torsten can escape during the coup if you were either too slow or if you got into a confrontation with the recruits. Also, now that I think about it I failed to identify the buyer the time I saved the girl. I don't know if that has something to do with it.

I definitely did all those village quests with the Tenlans in one go while I was in the area and I definitely did the Naut girl quest afterwaords because I remember thinking "Ah, that's what that upper area in the cave is for" when I went to her camp.
It might be though, that the Naut quest was already in progress (but not at that stage yet) when I did the Tenlan stuff. That, I am not sure about. It would make sense to me if her death was tied to how thourought your investigation is or something and that actually, if you are less thorough, she may stay alive. Because IIRC, it's the captain telling the girl about you (DeSardet) that drives her to hide, right? So the more you panic him with a s thorough investigation, the more preasure he might put on the girl? I don't know.

Yeah, Torsten escapes no matter what and takes over the faction you didn't help. I just redid the coup when I was trophy whoring, and didn't continue to end of the game. I wondered if the "attack on insert faction" would play out as usual in the endgame. Theleme worship's Torsten now. LOL.

Sigh. The De Sardet Real family quest was terrible in it's execution. I had very little interest in it, De Sardet insisted on being depicted as deeply caring about it, and after it was done I couldn't even ask auntie about what my parents were really like.
And learning that Petrus tented his pantaloons around mumsy is pretty damn disgusting considering his lack of helping her and her being behind bars the whole time.
I also hate being from that clan because I hate the clan leader.
Just bah.

And now the Coin Guard drama Continues and we find out they started a pedophile ring. The informant didn't bat an eye, he said. And where is the option to cleanse him? Like, wtf, he's at the minimum a pedophiles knowing friend?
