No discussion question here, I just got all the info I could on the Dales and the Dalish elves I could and put it in a video.

Very interesting, as ever. Did your Dalish Warden in Origins survive the Battle of Ferelden and request the boon of a grant of land to their people? I do find that quite an interesting option, the repercussions of which are sadly (but understandably) brushed over in subsequent games. My own 'head canon' has the Dalish nation of Brecillia being established within the Brecillian forest, by Alistair, as thanks for the participation of the Dalish in combatting the ArchDemon. My pen-and-paper RPG campaign examined a few of those threads!
Keep up the good work.

I do find that quite an interesting option, the repercussions of which are sadly (but understandably) brushed over in subsequent games Well in DA2 if you have Merrill with you when you meet with Alistair he mentions something about being sorry things didn't work out in relation to that boon but it was annoying that wasn't elaborated upon. I suppose we have to assume that there was too much tension between the human residents (likely Chassind) and the Dalish, which was hinted at in the epilogue to DAO. To be honest I think that giving the Dalish part of the Brecilian Forest made more sense than the area gifted in the boon which was said to be around Ostagar and thus both bleak and likely corrupted by the darkspawn. Since it also overlapped with the eastern Hinterlands, I suppose the presence of the dragon there would have caused the Dalish to abandon the area even if the humans had not been responsible.
