Waiting for our second Pfizer shot (scheduled for 31 July). However the Australian Govt is threatening to extend that wait to 3 months and give other adults/children their first shot. Not sure how I feel about this. Regardless, Australia has to get its act together. Anyway noticed this in the news and couldn't believe my ears. It's frightening how many covidiots believe the conspiracy theories circulating out there. And now we have riots in Europe and Australia as a result.

And now we have riots in Europe and Australia as a result. Here's a quote from this guy from the article: "No they're shoving the fact that that's their agenda," Roe said, "their agenda is to get you vaccinated." And he says that like it's a bad thing. Yes, their agenda is to get you vaccinated! Not against your will, but to convince you it's a good idea. WTF is wrong with people. On top of that, this fellow must have excellent health insurance to be ok with not one, but two hospitalizations, vs. a free and generally safe vaccine.

Its terrifying how many people have no idea how the human body, viruses and vaccine works, that lack of knowledge leads to all kinds of crazy theories which in turn leads to stupid people getting angry and causing chaos. I think there should be better educational programs about prescription drugs, diets, vaccines, and how they affect the body, in school.

Coworker tested positive last week in the office. He had already received his second shot but very recently. Still, this sucks. Now everyone who was in the same room with him was told to stay home. Three people from my team had contact with him. Most people are still in home office, like me, but CRAP. And regardless, we're all expected to return to the office in August. I guess unless he infected somebody else, the company will keep telling us sitting 1,5m apart is suffice.... Sigh. Somebody knows somebody else who got covid after both shots and having a rough time on top. Then a friend thought it was a good idea to tell me, an anxiety person, that somebody they know died of covid despite being fully vaccinated. Age 65 but still! Now I'm kinda scared again. Ugh. I hate this fucked bf pandemic.

Excerpt from the upcoming opus "History of the Humankind" there should be better educational programs about prescription drugs, diets, vaccines, and how they affect the body, in school. 100% agree. But first of all, there should be more schools.

Now I'm kinda scared again I wish I had something reassuring to say. Vaccinations do reduce the risk of getting hospitalized, but it's not 100%, even with two jabs of Pfizer-BioNTech. People with preexisting conditions are still vulnerable; in that respect nothing has changed. Ugh. I hate this fucked bf pandemic. You and me both.

It's just swollen lymph nodes which eventually subside, not enlarged breasts. Can't wait for the antivaxxers to trot out this new excuse alongside their tracking chip nonsense.

And they're everywhere. And they believe more than just that. There are still way too many who believe it is a hoax/not real, or that, if it is real, it is 'just a cold'. They don't seem to understand that the morbidity rate with treatment (which is absolutely low) is only relevant if there is treatment capacity. And it is treatment capacity that really gets slammed by this thing when left unchecked. And once treatment capacity is reached, the rate of mortality goes up.

And once treatment capacity is reached, the rate of mortality goes up. Yep indeed. And that the mortality rate for the car accident victim or heart attack also goes up because there aren't resources left to treat them either.

And that the mortality rate for the car accident victim or heart attack also goes up because there aren't resources left to treat them either. And the cancer sufferers who can't get in to hospital for their treatments. The list goes on. And that says nothing about the utterly macabre position that a mortality rate of - currently - just over 2% is somehow tolerable for something that can be avoided with some effort. And that's the WHO's 'live' dashboard on it, which trusts official figures from India, and yeah...I don't. The real number is likely worse.

Well, jokes on me now for asking that question. Had a talk with a close family member I used to hang out with a lot and who got quiet over the last couple weeks. He told me several obvious lies why he does not want to hang out with me anymore. Asked him to speak plainly, he said he believes the vaccine is a sort of bioweapon to start WWIII with, and it will kill or severely harm people vaccinated and those they infect. First I thought he was joking, but let me tell you he is dead serious and very frightened, to the point it does influence important life decisions. As proof he showed me several totally insane conspiracy videos. Its extremely sad what the current situation does to some people, but it also reveals one frightening truth - a lot of people are just one global crisis away from developing schizophrenia or falling into a state of mindless hysteria.

The Endpoint of the 'do your own research' when combined with 'everyones opinion is valid' mantra. Doing your own research is fine, if you're weighing up which electric vehicle is right for you, or if you're looking into various options for low fat condiments, or a preferred TV brand. It is not OK for general public health or basic facts. My opinion is not valid if it contradicts official public health guidelines. My research is not, and is never going to be, as useful as the research of career scientists in a particular field. Believing that I'd somehow found the one (or hundreds of) piece of evidence that everyone in the "mainstream" somehow missed is not only completely fucking idiotic, it is the absolute height of narcissistic arrogance.

However, the stupidity swings the other way too, at least over here. Our fearless leaders thought it was a good idea to grant extra financial aid to hospitals whose intensive wards are near full capacity. What happened? Hospitals reduced the number of free beds in their intensive wards to qualify for the payments, and the media promptly ran with the "COVID causes Germany's intensive care capacity to reach its limits!" headline. Panic! Lockdown! The idiocy was eventually discovered but the general public barely took any notice by then.
That said, I got my second BioNTech injection yesterday. Neither vaccination caused any ill effects other than a light pain in the affected arm, and I have not felt any desire to start WWIII yet. So far, so good.

Hospitals reduced the number of free beds in their intensive wards to qualify for the payments Now I could have seen that coming from a mile away, evidently a tiny amount of foresight and basic logics is not a quality needed to become a politician. That said, I got my second BioNTech injection yesterday. Neither vaccination caused any ill effects other than a light pain in the affected arm, and I have not felt any desire to start WWIII yet. So far, so good. Just you wait! One day you will wake up in terminator-mode and kill everything and everyone you see that does not have a microsoft logo on it. The Endpoint of the 'do your own research' when combined with 'everyones opinion is valid' mantra. Doing your own research is fine, if you're weighing up which electric vehicle is right for you, or if you're looking into various options for low fat condiments, or a preferred TV brand. Believing that I'd somehow found the one (or hundreds of) piece of evidence that everyone in the "mainstream" somehow missed is not only completely fucking idiotic, it is the absolute height of narcissistic arrogance. Yes, just imagine you replace ''virus'' with ''radiation'' and tell everyone's opinion is valid. How many people would get radiation poisoning and pollute the environment, their children and loved ones simply because they believed in scientifically unproven data from their favorite internet video that matched their pre-existing opinions and made them feel so reassured? Oh that would be apocalyptic.... I did some of my own research, but I looked up the official scientific papers and research data from all the different vaccines and their effectiveness and possible side effects as soon as they were available. Doing your own research can be a good thing, but one has to be absolutely sure it comes from valid sources from qualified people. Most people simply utterly fail in that regard, resulting in a giant clusterfuck of madness. People need to learn to do proper research on the sources before they even begin to read stuff, especially when its about topics involving health.

Pfff... Everybody knows that COVID is caused by the radiation from 5G antennas that are fueled by knee liquid that is extracted from vaccinated people, all that to make Soros more powerful and rich so he can summon the Lizard people from the flat planet of Antartica in Alpha Centauri and slave humanity and use it to build piramids so the US gov can print them in the 1 dollar bill something something

imagine you replace ''virus'' with ''radiation'' Have you read about David Hahn, aka the Nuclear Boy Scout? Yeah, implications unpleasant. data from all the different vaccines and their effectiveness and possible side effects Understanding how this data is gathered and analyzed is the key. That's where the real science is happening; it's all about statistics.
