Good: Asus P9X79 motherboard. Solid. Machine has never crashed during these 7,5 years! Bad: 99€ Android tablet. ME3 I bought because of multiplayer but it wasnt good or fun... and I dont know if I can play SP anymore because of MP ruining. I still find it surprising you liked MEAmp so much but hate ME3mp. But if you did meamp 1st i could see a person having issues with me3mp Having spent a lot of time with ME3MP first, I ended up preferring MEA’s take on it a bit better. I really like the verticality and mobility of the characters. Just about the only thing I really miss is my old Krogan sentinel, but I just feel like the actual combat itself is so much more improved. I do wish that the game had more varied map layouts and maybe locations as well. I would’ve loved to fight in some sort of remnant catacomb looking thing or some of the weirder locales we get bits of in the base game.

Good: 68-inch 4K ultra-HD smart TV Bad: Engagement rings This comment makes me so sad. At least you have a nice telly, it'll never break your heart That’s what I thought until our big LG up and gave out after just a year.

Unfortunately the special missions needed to be triggered by someone at BioWare so we are not going to see Remnant Dungeon (I LOVED the one with opening walls to new areas!) or the crazy Hydras & Krogans Silver (seriously like Platinum) attack on Sandstorm or Roekaars on Aqua *sigh* I miss those missions and maps I even asked BioWare guys here on the forum if they could ask inside company but I guess nobody has time anymore for gone games. I understand that though, but still... that dungon man, that dungeon. I also would've liked more factions and some environmental hazard type stuff like in SP.

I understand that though, but still... that dungon man, that dungeon. I also would've liked more factions and some environmental hazard type stuff like in SP. originally they were going to add a whole bunch of stuff via dlc's but when EA pulled the plug over all the bad publicity everythign just got sidelined which is a crying shame I mean I actually liked the game despite its flaws, the upgrade mechanic was annoying but its not like it was a game killer (some of those crit bugs on the other hand were) the dodgy snowflakery that was drivveled in was more of an immersion killer than anything else but the artwork was very good, the overall storyline was decent and despite some plot points being somewhat strange and they clearly had a lot more story to give (they dropped enough spoilers for upcoming content and or extensions to the main game) and then they just canned the whole thing becasue some folks who likely never played more than the press demo cried so loudly for so long on the various social media platforms that the character animations were too plastic... i was more annoyed they went from fairly decent humans in the earlier games to cartoonised versions and black screens instead of certain sequences...

Amazing: Just received my new FootJoy DryJoy Tour Select golf shoes. Have only ever worn FootJoy shoes since learning to play when I was about 8 years old, and I fully expect and am confident that these shoes will live up to the solid reputation that FootJoy has. Honestly, I really wish FootJoy made normal, every day running/walking shoes, because they are without a doubt the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. Far more comfortable and supportive than anything 'regular' walking/running, hiking shoe I've ever paid for. And a s a first-time purchase bonus, these DryJoy Tour Select shoes are actually fully guaranteed to be 100% fully waterproof for two years of regular use (no more wet feet after playing a shot from the side of a water hazard, or after being caught in the rain!) I hate wet socks......There's nothing worse than spending most of round in soaking wet socks/shoes. Nice to have a waterproof guarantee for a change.
For anyone who has a pair of FootJoy shoes....just imagine a regular pair of shoes made by them......
Bad: Indiana Jones and the Infernal Machine (PC, Lucas Arts Entertainment Co.). The story was fun and the voice acting was really good. Doug Lee (who did the voice for Indy in The Fate of Atlantis, a great Indy game--I mean that seriously) reprised the role, and sounds a lot like Harrison Ford. Perfect Match for a VA in a game. But that is the only good I have to say about it.
the KB/M controls were absolutely atrocious. When changing direction or completing sequential actions, you had to come to a complete stop in one direction-bofore moving again in another direction or completing a second or third action. It was horrible. Move. full stop. TURN.Full Stop. Move again. The controls were unbelievably finicky and clunky. So much so that I played the first Chapter and never did anything else.
Here is an example of what I mean:

I have this small desk fan(of a different brand but similar enough to this) connected to my monitor via usb and it's pretty darn nice. Now i can't be without its cool air. Then there's this clip on lamp on the edge of my desk that's also connected via usb on the monitor that's pretty handy too.

Here's one of those trivial, not worth mentioning, things. ...But: Many years ago I got to try a small sample, maybe 0.5 ml, of a French ink with a really weird name, 'Lie de The'. I didn't think much of it other than that I needed some ink and hadn't brought any. But I immediately, for some reason, really liked that ink. I liked it so much I tested its lightfastness on a paper taped to the inside of a window for a couple of weeks. To my surprise it held up very well, so was a serious ink.
Well, the years passed, but a couple of weeks ago I came across an opportunity to buy a bottle in a store. It wasn't expensive, so what the h***. And I amazed myself again with how much I liked it. Its flow is consistent but maybe a bit dry. It writes well The color is rather weird. I suppose it's officially "brown", but its spirit is beige, if that makes sense. Or it's a warm grey that isn't grey enough. I'm fairly allergic to brown inks. I don't like them. That look on the paper disturbs me somehow, breaks my harmony. But this ink, 'Lie de The' is the opposite. The look on the paper soothes my mind, and is just as comfortable to me as blue inks. I almost always use blue & blue-black inks, and only black and red for special purposes. I have it in a pen with a medium nib, but it writes like a fine, so maybe it flows a bit drily. I'll try it with a broad sometime, but I just really like this ink.

I finally broke my Samsung S7 by accidentally dropping it on my kitchen's marble floor. So I needed a new phone as quickly as possible.
I decided to get the OnePlus 8 Pro with the 30-watt wireless charger for $1000 (USD). It's pretty much the most amount of money I've ever spent on a phone.
The 8 Pro is as fast as a "non-gaming oriented" Android phone can be with the Snapdragon 865, 12GB of RAM, and 256GB of storage. It's a little more future proof since it supports 5G but not the mmWave 5G unfortunately. The best thing about this phone is the ability to have both 120hz refresh rate and 1440p resolution at the same time. So everything is super smooth.
The biggest downside for me is that it's a BIG phone so I can't really use it with only one hand. The upside is that it has a BIG screen and the IP68 certified water resistance, so I can continue to watch videos and take selfies in the shower.
If anyone needs a new Android phone and has big hands, I highly recommend the $1000 OnePlus 8 Pro.

My last three phones were all Samsung. I had a Galaxy S3, an S5, and an S7. After reading a couple reviews, I figured I would give OnePlus a shot instead of buying another Samsung Galaxy S. I actually thought about getting an iPhone 11 Pro but since the iPhone 12 was just around the corner, it wouldn't make much sense to buy it. An iPhone 11 can definitely outlast any Android phones on the market right now when it comes to long-term performance, as long as you don't mind getting locked into the whole Apple ecosystem. Overall, I'm very happy with the OnePlus 8 Pro. It is the most expensive OnePlus phone ever, but you do get exactly what you paid for, which is a phone with very little compromise.

My very first cellphone ever was a silly little bar phone, not sure of the brand or model but it was a pay-as-you-go phone from Telus. Cheap phone. Cheap but not inexpensive. Even at the time it cost me 275.00 which is the most I"ve ever actually paid out of pocket for any phone to date, and Telus was an absolute rip-off. I was supposed to get 100 minutes per month that could be carried over month by month whatever went unused...But I found out that they were actually deducting me minutes and over charging me. This was back in April 2004. I argued with the store manager and she returned the phone for a nominal restocking fee. From that day on, I vowed never to go with Telus ever again.
I went without a cellphone for nearly 10 years until I got my next phone, the Samsung Galaxy S5, which I bought from Bestbuy only a few months after its initial release.....What an amazing phone that was! The camera was incredible, the phone was solid, the feature set was impressive and my choice of service provider was expensive (Rogers) but I never had any trouble with them. Always excellent service. I had the S5 for two years and then was eligible for a free upgrade so I went with the S7 which I had for four years....and the last two years of that had been with Freedom Mobile which has been far less expensive....but truly horrible service and networking. Dropped calls, failed messages, signal disruption and horrible customer service. So now I've switched to Fido (and the customer service alone has been well worth dropping Freedom) and I upgraded my aging S7 (which I still have) to the S10. Not the absolute newest, hottest phone that is the S20 series (but I'm not paying 1000 dollars as a downpayment either). I got the S10 for free instead and it has been amazing so far. Very happy with my purchase.
As long as Samsung continues to make their Galaxy S phones to this same level of quality as the S5, 7 and 10, I will continue buy them over anything else on the market.

well most of my phones have been nokia's I started with the motoroala mr1 (iirc 1996) then went to the sony erricson a109, before getting a nokia communicator then a 6900 then a 7xxx then a 9xxx then a 3310 then a 3310 then a 7xxx then a 5800 then it was an lg cookie then another sony erricson smart phone, before a htc windows phone then moving on to lumia handsets from 2012 until 2017 and then Samsung a5(2017) in 2017,
most of them were cheap handsets with a contract, I had various loner phones from the store during those times when my handset was in for repair or replacement, the best /worst phone I can think of would be the lumia 1020, I had it for less than 2 years before it got replaced with the 920 by the phone company becasue of all the problems, funny thing was that handset was actually really good it just had bad battery's and the 920 died after 8 months curtesy of a rain shower ... so I went to the lumia 6 series before windows announced the end of windows phone series (which honestly really annoyed me since the spamdroid just doesn't sync to my pc or tablet)
the Samsung's are the first batch of handsets that have cost me more than £300 they are also the first phones that have lasted me more than 18 months without dying to a water based accident (probably due to the ip68 rating lol)
the best thing about lumia phones though was the price, I mean brand new lumia 420/430/450 were all under £50 the 500 series was also under £80 so when I was buying those things for my kids (4 of) it didnt break the bank, with the added bonus that I could track the kids locations or restrict what content they had access too from my desktop, it wasn't until the school gave them apple devices that my abilities as a parent were restricted...
and yeah I agree about the quality of the Samsung phones, if they made a windows phone version in the future I would be even happier

If you have one, that's cool...really cool, actually. I always wanted one and thought they were really cool looking and how they operated. Being a Windows PC user, I thought they'd be so much simpler than Android and Apple to interface with. Though that was before I actually got my hands on a really nice version of the Android OS found in the Galaxy S5 from Samsung. My previous experience with Android was a low end budget phone of my parents, and it was horrible. But what I meant was they didn't make them for many years. they stopped manufacturing them in 2015. The "true" Windows Phones (made in partnership Nokia/Lumia. Lumia was originally designed owned and operated by Nokia, and later bought and revamped by Microsoft as Microsoft Mobile) were only made from 2010 to 2015 and supported Windows 7 Mobile and Window 8.1 Mobile. From January 2015 until sometime in 2017 they had plans to do a Windows 10 Mobile version but with diminishing public and shareholder interest in developing a mobile version of the Windows platform (specifically for use in phones and tablets), plans for a mobile version of Windows 10 like 7 and 8.1 before it were scrapped and the Windows Mobile platform had its final "End Of Life" Declaration beginning in December 2019 and running on through January 14th of this year, 2020. If you have one, that's cool...really cool, actually. References: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Windows_Phoneen.wikipedia.org/wiki/Microsoft_LumiaYea. I know that of course. And I know what you meant. And it sucks. Because I really don't want to buy either an iPhone or Android. But who knows. The battery is still pretty acceptable. And with a new battery I could possibly be using it for another 6-7 years?

References: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Windows_Phoneen.wikipedia.org/wiki/Microsoft_Lumiathe x50 phones were all windows 10 at launch and the x40 phones could be upgraded to windows 10 without any problems, maybe that was only for the UK market (there were a lot of complaints about US carriers not allowing them on their network's...) also HTC produced the first dedicated windows phones and the Nokia "contract" that ended up with MS owning Nokia was MS trying to keep Nokia in business when they were being squeezed out by apple and Sony though dodgy patent lawsuits (which was the exact same thing they did to RIM and the blackberry to cause the company to collapse) as far as the actual handsets went the Lumia 550/650 phones (because I had both in my house) were pretty decent units they synced to windows 10 perfectly and I could even use "Hey Cortana" without needing to take the phone out of my pocket to send text messages or make speaker phone calls (took some setting up sure but it worked and was really useful unlike the Samsung /google versions of Virtual Assistant which are just a mess) the only bad thing about Cortana was she was a dirty bitch when doing searches so she had to be disabled for the kids, well before MS neutered that function and removed her personality before finally dumbing her down just after they announced they were going to kill the windows phone (thanks to EU court interference, and dodgy tax demands in India) might be just the UK but the windows phone was oddly more successful than any other single brand of phone over here (likely down to the low prices of Lumia handsets in comparison to other "feature phones") even the Lumia 400/410/420/430/440/450 was the second best selling handset in the UK (most school kids had one since it cost £50 with a £10 airtime voucher, or the sim free version was £40 and you could just pop your contract sim in there) it was the 600 series that sold well in India (albeit around the same price as they sold the 400 series for in the UK) but even the 900 series was cheap compared to other flagship phones (the Sony experia cost £300 but the Lumia 920 and 1020 came it at 250 and 275 respectively and had far more features not to mention much better camera support and of course they didn't use a dodgy version of spamdroid that couldn't be upgraded and needed a hard reset every week) so yes overall very sad that windows phones died a death, also very glad I didnt buy the 950 with the docking kit before it went out of stock everywhere... that would have been a bad purchase lol

I know, that's why I don't use her services. I prefer to make my own searches.

I prefer to make my own searches. the kids all came home from school talking about grapefuiting which siri bixby and ok google couldn't or wouldn't produce answers for but cortana not only gives an audio overview she also gave links to video's in the search results.... apparently it was something that was inadvertantly typed into the search box by fat fingers when the 6th form students were doing a presentation about using a Virtual assistant as an aid to learning by hooking the phone up to a projector for the school assembly.... the only thing better was having the teacher pull up blue waffle as a search in the science lab on the wall screen.... *nb those links are pretty NSFW

I've heard of the first one, grapefruiting.... my understanding, unless I'm wrong is that grapefruits themselves are very good for exfoliation of the skin. The second one though, I'm not sure what to make of. I've never heard of it, but the link you provided gave mixed results at best. some info said it was a horrible STD others gave pictures and info about eating blueberry Eggos.
