I've heard of the first one, grapefruiting.... my understanding, unless I'm wrong is that grapefruits themselves are very good for exfoliation of the skin. The second one though, I'm not sure what to make of. I've never heard of it, but the link you provided gave mixed results at best. some info said it was a horrible STD others gave pictures and info about eating blueberry Eggos. the latter is indeed a nasty STD... as for the former all I'm going to say is it burns... as any citrus fruit juice on your bits would...

A couple of month(s) back the speaker on my phone degraded to the point where music sounds like complete ass, so I ended up being an external speaker that plugs into the headphone jack. It's light and the quality is splendid.

Bad purchase......Xbox controllers. I am sure that I have spent more money on controllers over the years than the actual xbox consoles. They are like ink cartridges. Sorry for quoting such an old post but which generation of controllers? My two 360 controllers are still alive and I still use them almost daily playing on PC. So they've been alive for something like 15 years now? Granted, one of them has started to develop slight drift issues and the rubber grips on the left sticks have melted away over the years. But they still work. All controllers of every console I ever bought still work. Or used to last time I used them. Never had to replace one. Might be the Xbox One controllers are crap. Friend of mine is on his third one for PC gaming I think. Keeps ranting about them... I might have to hold a special funeral for mine when it's time to finally put them to rest. They've been the most sturdy things I ever had.

Sometimes fortune smiles on a person. I have been renoing a basement room in my house. Among other things I wanted to get a wall mounted electric fireplace for it. I did a lot of looking on line at amazon, wayfair and other retailers. Thought I was going to have to order on line and wait for delivery. Lo and behold I go to get some paint for the room today at home depot and I stumble onto a nice looking fireplace below half price. (Just a great price for one of these things) There are two boxes left, a lady walks up as I am looking and says 'ooooo I am going to get this!' so quickly I helped her load one box onto her cart and she helped me load the other box onto my cart. Funny thing is probably a decade ago the same thing happened with me finding a super cheap living room fireplace at the same home depot and there was only one of them left. Boooooo Yaaaaa!

I'm not buying this. Qi Wireless ChargerFirst of all, it's ~$80.00 which is really spendy. Second, and most importantly, having a beverage that close to an electronic device is just asking for trouble.

I'm not buying this. Qi Wireless ChargerFirst of all, it's ~$80.00 which is really spendy. Second, and most importantly, having a beverage that close to an electronic device is just asking for trouble. I remember once way back I was working in an IT Dept....and one of the ladies on the second floor called me all frantic that her PC wouldn't start. So I walk her through all kinds of trouble-shooting, and nothing worked, so I said I would run up and take a look-see. When I got there, what I found was that for some reason, she had a GIANT magnet plastered to the side of her case. It looked like it was the magnet out of a bookshelf speaker because it was the size and shape of a six inch woofer, and she had it plastered to the side of her case. Never did find out why. But then I had to expain to her the basic principles of magnetism and electronics. And that because the Hard Drive in her PC operated at least partially with magnetics, having an actual magnet on her PC would prevent the PC from functioning. It also reminds me of the time that my uncle (whose cellphone is an electronic handcuff) had his phone in the pocket of his bathing suit and dove into the lake at our cottage (and this is years before IP67, 68 ratings).....so needless to say the instant it got wet, it stopped working. But the fact that he dove about five feet rendered it absolutely useless. So much for his 2000.00 phone

Good things I have purchased: New Logitech G502 HERO Gaming Mouse (very similar to my original G5 from 2005) and new Razer Black Widow mechanical gaming keyboard w/ green switches. Very nice to type on....the responsiveness of the keys actually makes typing a lot easier than my old MS Digital Media 3000 series keyboard. Very happy with both purchases.

My worst purchase of the last few years I have decided is my desk top computer. Not because the computer itself is bad but because all the absolute TRASH software foisted on me. I can;t take it any more. Every single time I try and do something I am getting pop ups from mcafee or something asking me to renew my license. I cant save where I want to because miscosft has forced me to save onto one drive which is full. I can't do certain things because micorsoft wants me to sing into their login.
I do not want any of this SHI*, just let me save where I want avoid what I want us the net.

Beerfish you can uninstall the crapware that comes with the readymade computers though. I hate them with passion too, my work laptop had some but not as much as before, which was nice. Uninstalled still them all. Me, I bought GOPRO Hero 9 Black - and its not working properly, it seems many people have problems with this current highend version. I'm gonna return it I hope my next computer will be ok though, I've collected a list of parts already. Over 3000€ for 16 cores and 4TB SSD etc... oh my.

I bought a Razer keyboard once a very good quality keyboard but at the same a bad purchase because i never got it to work properly with the whole lightshow. Not even my brother couldn't get it to work properly. Bought a Razer headset back in the day, insanely overpriced, uncomfortable and as it turns out unreliable because it broke shortly after. Learnt my lesson back then and from what I hear their reputation has only gotten worse over the years. On topic, one of the best products I ever bought was my old Dell Laptop. I say old because its about 14 years old now. dell XPS 15. I got it as gift as I needed a laptop for university so I researched around and eventually chose this one Sure the bezels are big by todays standards and she's thick and heavy. But at that time USB 3.0 had just been released as did the coreI7 and I believe 4GB of RAM so pretty top of the line back then. Plus she had JBL speakers built in so it was solid for multimedia in general. Laptop carried me through 4 years of university and several years after that, in fact I only stopped using it because I built a gaming rig recently. Doesnt get much use these days but I still like to switch it on once a week just to see how its doing.

I have finally come to the realization that it is totally worth it to buy more expensive good yogourt than the cheapest store brands.
I bought the more expensive type the other day and just tried it and it is sooooo creamy and smooth.

I bought the more expensive type the other day and just tried it and it is sooooo creamy and smooth. Personally I like the OIKOS Greek Yogurt. People rave about the Liberte yogurt but it's a little too creamy for my liking-- reminds me of Astro yogurt which I've never really cared for as an adult. For me it's the Oikos Greek yogurt: Black Cherry is my favourite, followed by Peach, Blueberry, Blackberry and Raspberry. As much as I adore strawberries, I'm not entirely fussed on the yogurt. Funny taste. But the Cherry Gurt is amazing!

Not even my brother couldn't get it to work properly. Ive never owned a razer product but a lot of people had problems with theirs widely reported on tech forums with all sorts of issues from not working properly to causing display issues to randomly rebooting the pc... on the other hand the best keyboards ive owned would be the g15 the g19s and then the corsair k70 (the k90 was too expensive for my tastes) the best mice would be the g5 the g502 and the darkcore pro (the later also goes well with the k70 k/b for the light effects) although despite it never working well for long (literally burned through 3 of them in 12 months) the inferno mouse was epic (shame about the switches and sensors being trash) if only because the macro software actually worked as intended without needing a programming course first.. made afk skill training in games super easy ahh the good old days when the only way to do something was to work for it and you paid a subscription.... of course nobody wants to waste sleep/work time when they can just afk skill train.... lets face it getting your buffs etc to gm lvl first was key to winning (yeah we abused game mechanics in our guild and ended up with max lvl skills /buffs within a few days making the game much easier to play)

Purchased two CDs from long time fav groups of mine who have not put out much material in a log time. Crowded House an The Northern Pikes.
The Crowded House one was a bit spotty I need to listen to it more but only about two songs grabbed me. The Northern Pikes one however was just excellent from first listen. Booo ya!

Amazing: 1000 Watt P2 80+ Platinum rated CPU Power Supply, Corsair H115i RGB PRO XT Liquid Cooler, Tomb Raider Trilogy on PC (such amazing games, each one of them...But I have played through the Trilogy 2x now and the "LIKE-factor" increases with each installment. When I only had the first two games for my Xbox 360, I said "hands down my favourite of the two is Rise of the Tomb Raider", and if I never get to play the third game because it's console exclusive (which I thought it was at the time of its press release etc), I'm satisfied with just the first two though I haven't played my 360 for several years".....Then as you know I found the Trilogy on STEAM and made my purchase. Totally re-ignited my enjoyment of the games all over again and the third installment raised the bar even higher, never let me down.
I haven't really made any other purchases to say anything further about 'bad' stuff that I haven't mentioned in an earlier post.

Good: polarising on my sunglasses. I think maybe I'm a bit sensitive to bright light, and getting these bad boys done has made an epic amount of improvement to driving around. Sadly not good for use at night, so I'm still always getting blinded by lights , but when its been raining and the sun comes out and hits the road, I'm no longer staring directly into the sun.

Have you ever tried Serengeti sunglasses? I have a pair that are perscription, complete with UV protection, polarization, anti-reflective glare and some other features in the lenses....and they're the best I"ve ever had. I've never had perscription sunglasses before and I've worn glasses all my life since I was 2 years old....But these are amazing. I like them even better than my actual glasses, even on overcast days where the sky is grey and there is a glare. www.serengeti-eyewear.com/ca/men/www.serengeti-eyewear.com/ca/women/Unfortunately, Serengeti doesn't make or carry my frame style anymore as they are now three years old....But they're a beautiful wrap style frame, very sporty-looking, quite stylish. www.bing.com/images/search?q=serengeti+granada+7300&qpvt=serengeti+granada+7300&tsc=ImageHoverTitle&form=IGRE&first=1Mine are a brownish-gold metal frame with matching copper lenses like the ones pictured in the top rows

Do they come in prescription? Mine is constantly getting thicker these days . They have some nice designs though.
