Finished Vinland. Nice tie in to AC III though I wish I understood what the native Indians were talking about. It's ok though, at least they aren't suddenly speaking "English". Eivor is nearly 300 but the next target is Lincolnscire at 160.

Wrong thread, azarhal . This is the spoiler-free thread. Or at least use spoiler tags, which I'm about to.
For those who have got to England:
And upgraded the seer's hut. If you haven't, stop reading now.
Does anybody else have a feeling the Asgard arc was originally intended as a DLC? The area is a lot tougher than the base game, and just doesn't fit with it, if that makes sense.

Posting this in the right thread. Eivor has conquered Vinland. Sorta. I feel you are supposed to do that map after you finished the main story. It's basically a wink and nudge to people who played AC III. Now Eivor is back in England and so happy to be able to wear her beloved clothes and weapons. She also set off to go find out what happened to Sigurd. She's been gone for weeks and he still haven't come back from Oxenefordscire.

Sorry for the wrong thread post, I moved it. I only see Asessin's Creed Valhalla in the tab name. It gets confusing to know which is which. Wrong thread, azarhal . This is the spoiler-free thread. Or at least use spoiler tags, which I'm about to. For those who have got to England: And upgraded the seer's hut. If you haven't, stop reading now.
Does anybody else have a feeling the Asgard arc was originally intended as a DLC? The area is a lot tougher than the base game, and just doesn't fit with it, if that makes sense. My impression while playing it was that it was one of the first zone they made. The gameplay loop isn't as polished as elsewhere.

The more I killed members of the Order, the more I feel that they aren't really members or just people being manipulated.
At least, at the lower levels. Even some of the zealots.

This sound familiar to anyone:
Eivor: I must not be seen in this area.
Me: Lights up axes on fire and barges screaming through the front entrance.
Just me?

I got one strike against Sigurd and it's not his wife (yet). He so totally deserved that punch in the face. I'm just half-way the game and the story took a weird direction. My Eivor current mood: . This sound familiar to anyone: Eivor: I must not be seen in this area. Me: Lights up axes on fire and barges screaming through the front entrance. Just me? Nah, pretty much how my playthrough is going too. Although, I don't always start from the front entrance.

Dag's writing could be better. The things he just told Eivor only makes him look like a moron. He accuse Eivor not managing the things in the settlement because she is always away...but she is always away because Sigurd asked her to be away.
But somehow it's all Eivor's fault, not Sigurd's.
I wish I could punch him in the face too. On another subject, I managed to get enough beast stuff to get tungsten from the hunters. So now I got 3 pieces of mythical armor. It was 3 pieces of armor or one weapon. Eivor is full blings now...

Doesn't always work, though Anyone know if there is a double assassination skill or ability, other than the one where you throw an ax at a second target?

Anyone know if there is a double assassination skill or ability, other than the one where you throw an ax at a second target? None in the "automatic" category outside mark of death I guess. The Focus of the Nornir ability on the bow allows you to kill lots of enemies (aim for head-shots preferably) in basically time-stop mode without it costing arrows (works as long as you have stamina). The harpoon ability can kill an entire pack of enemies if they are close and you throw one of them on the pack. As a bonus, it does lots of damage to the Daughter of Lerion. Saying that, how well it works on boss is really random. You can use them in stealth, not quite "assassination" tactics thought.

Pet peeve: weapons balloon in size when you draw them vs. how they look when sheathed at your side. Really noticeable with the hammer I have that literally doubles in size from what it looks like out of combat, and also with spears (spears also just flat out seem to have a different skin when sheathed on your back for whatever reason).

So a confession, I played little yesterday but it coincided with me playing at the same time as my Brother in Law. I couldn't understand how he was so far ahead of me after starting a week after me and he was doing a quest to kidnap a king. I am like hey where'd you get that quest I can't find any markers for that and he says off the Table at Ravensthorpe and I am like but it's just blank. And he just looks at me and says, you have to click on the areas. So yesterday I pledged to do somewhere, can't remember. On a less enbarrassing not i did the two quests ou get for the Ultimate Edition, got me a Bjorn the Beserker a a result of one, it was quite a good quest. And did another one to find a monster for a Nun, it was OK, Other than that found the site to get Thor's helmet but haven't come across any of the sisters yet. Eovor reached Power Level 100. Working for another Nun Got me a Beserker, yet to see him at Ravensthorpe One of the better pic's I have gotten of Eivor Hooking up with Petra again.

I went there early and only the final fight was tough. It is an independent story arc and I think (having read the story it is based on) it made sense to me in context to Eivor's role in the game. I can understand what you are saying that it would make MORE sense later in the game.

I'm liking the harpoon impalement skill a lot. Nailed the dancing light feet, fire bombing, range mobs nicely. Pulled them forward and off with their heads!! Hooking them from above reminds me of Emily's Far Reach in Dishonor II though of course, Far Reach is a much more versatile and lethal power. Counter roll and dodge slow are excellent. I'll admit to feeling satisfaction at the finishing off scene, especially on linx, wolves and boars. Presently in Lincoln. When a NPC speaks with a smooth oil cadence, you'd straight off he's a baddie.

I was changing out the armor on mine, picking the crew and yours was on the list. It seems that if you have picked up friends' jomsvikings, they're there permanently, I think, in the crew list to choose from.
