I wasn't expecting much given that they didn't say anything about the show. If there'd be something substantial about DA, they'd have hinted at something.
While there's similarities between what was shown today and back in the day for Andromeda, I do think there's a difference: showing red lyrium, when they already hinted at its importance with the teaser trailer, mean showing something relevant plotwise about the game. The Andromeda teaser shown nothing relevant, if I recall.

Yes, the last picture is really interesting. I see "regular" Blight corruption in the foreground, and red lyrium on the "gate." Also interesting that the "gate" appears to be surrounded by water (you can see the moonlight reflecting off it). Is it a partially submerged ruin? Could we actually get some underwater exploration? That would be cool.
Edit to fix dumb typing mistakes.

I really love those pictures, they look awesome. Though right now i'm feeling a deep mix of "yay i saw a thing!" and "why show something that's not really anything?"
I hope we get more soonish because the big gaps in getting info is far more draining than if they just stopped drip feeding until they could drown me in the Dragon Age.
I will probably lose interest in those images in a month or so, but it will still be fun speculation fodder for a while. So the veil is still up because they sky looks normal, but red Lyrium is spreading and it kind of looked like it became a heart above ground? My interest is piqued for now.

That tree is surrounded by woods, Hills and wilderness, not an alienage, so not a vhenadahl tree. It's surrounded by urns, andrastians burn their dead to prevent spirits from using the corpses so this may be a grave yard outside town?

I really love those pictures, they look awesome. Though right now i'm feeling a deep mix of "yay i saw a thing!" and "why show something that's not really anything?" Looks like their going with the Origins look for Red Lyrium instead of Inquisition's generic crystals. Maybe this time they can actually follow through with Red Lyrium being a threat that isn't a pointless backdrop prop.

MEA and Anthem had those pretty stuff too, i ain't falling for it lol.
I will gladly trade pretty graphics for RPG mechanics and more Frostbite engineers in BW studios.
But as long as EA's shtick is graphics and sport/live service titles I'm fine with my older BW games.

Yeah, in the video it looked like it was beating. I wonder how titans behave when they're above the ground. The 'heart' pic looks like it could be in the same area as the one with an arch too.
I know that, but that's not just it. I know they have to keep the fans interested and such, but all the teasing and such they do on social media gets annoying too. I kind of expected to see something of substance or nothing at all. I know it seems kind of ungreatful, i'm thrilled to see how beautiful the world is looking and now i'm excited for more information, but like you said,even waiting until the VGA with nothing in the interim is going to drive me absolutely batty, and the thought of having to wait beyond that?
Different strokes, but I prefer to be consistantly drip fed if that's how they're going to do it, or don't show me anything until you can show me everything you want to.

I like that last picture. Looks like a combo of both red lyrium and the blight. Also from the video, the second image is very cool cause the center is almost like a beating heart I see more twisted arms and a pointy head (lol, Rorschach Red Lyrium test?)

Do you like the shiny?   And yeah, with the creepy beating heart I'm leaning towards corrupted Titan here as well.  Red lyrium infused Solas in some sort of cocoon. Invokes some Char/Zerg/Sarah Kerrigan vibe.

I think that Dragon Age as a whole is already quite dark. I'd say that DA4 might be visually darker, but not necessarily that much darker overall then the other games.

I guess these images are better than nothing, although after 1.5 years since the first tease, it isn't exactly much. Here's hoping we don't go another 1.5 years until the next image.
I'm sure even if the main story is dark, there will be a lot of light moments in the side quests and companion content.

I'd certainly appreciate that, although to be honest, I'd be fairly happy with a day-night cycle, even without the seasonal changes. The fact that they don't have to release the game on old hardware (I think), and not right as the new gen comes out, might help them.
