So... What I miss? (Forum-user that's been gone for a couple years now)

Oh thank God! The political shenanigans were getting on my nerves. Other than that, I definitely remember you, mousestalker. I think you may or may not have written fanfiction back then.

Nothing. Nothing has changed.


The community has splintered a bit around various forums. Most of the hardcore nutters are gone. One of the splinter forums is mostly people whining about Trump, which is disappointing, but I suppose people need something to do with their time. Another is (mostly) a lesbian forum.

Andromeda came out, people said it was the worst thing ever, but it did greatly enhance the freakish gif scene for some time. I have no idea why the thought they could half ass facial animations so horribly when a third of the game is looking at people's faces.









Anthem came out, people said it was the worst thing ever, and it was mostly pretty dull tbh. No character. Or characters. There were, however, lots of paint jobs. And loadscreens. And tombs.



And now DA4 is in production, which I don't particularly care about, but will probably end up buying at full price anyway because throwing money at Bioware to have them disappoint me is something of a hobby of mine. Word is it is being built on Anthem's codebase, which literally no one is enthusiastic about.



So, all is well and dandy.
