Now that I have returned the POS 321HK monitor, I have been trying for four days to contact someone from ACER about deleting my account(s). I spoke with someone from Support, a lady named Luisa-- and she was completely shocked-- even horrified that not only did I return a defective item to them and complain about having problems with one of their products, but she was mortified that I wanted to delete my user account from their website, because "it's such a rare problem. I can't believe you are having trouble with one of our products, no one ever reports this. And you want to leave our website as well? That is such a rare request, in my time here no one has ever asked to leave!" And then she promptly disconnected my session.
I've messaged several COmmnunity Moderators and the Manager-- it's been four days and still not a single word from anyone. I have to shake my head at the level of ineptitude and lack of service and professionalism. They seem to think that none of their products are defective, but on the main DIscussion Board there is a laundry list of 25 pages of people reporting nothing but PROBLEMS with everything from Monitors to laptops to branded Deaktops.....I think they are in denial about the quality of their products.
In my opinion and experience thus far, I would put this quality and lack of service right up there with what people receive from ASUS. Y'all know I've never been shy about speaking harshly regarding what I think to be a poor quality in ASUS products given my history. But I will admit my dad (and many, many others) have had good experiences with ASUS even within the last five years, and I'm sure the quality of their items has improved or maybe it was alway good-- I just happen to get lemons. But what I found to be unanimous even today is an agreement that while the products might be good quality, the Customer Service from ASUS is non-existent.
I am beginning to think the same thing about ACER.
This Bunny is not impressed.
