Somewhat unclear. I had the impression the intro suggested V will sell it to have some cash in the 6 months time skip. Just like the corpo use the money for the hit as their pocket money after getting everything taken from them.

Street Kid or Corp for an urban setting. Nomad for the rural mad max storyline. Since I don't think there is much rural action, I guess nomad won't fit so well. We've always played tabletop in a very urban focussed way - nomads and implants - that really doesnt fit so well and in the urban arms and implant race they'd mostly be bottom tier.

Something about Corpo appeals to me.
Most likely the aesthetic.
But what REALLY appeals is the possibility to NOT be a dirtbag, a kind of "rogue agent".

To be specific, I want to uncover sinister plots and **pretend** to play along with them, but sabotage them behind the scenes.
A bit like Bruce Wayne meeting with Lex Luthor to gather intel so Batman can shut it down.

On the other hand, Nomad appeals to me because it seems like the classic origin story. I have a soft spot for the classics.

I suppose I also see the Corpo like the "mage" and the Nomad like the "warrior", and I prefer the mage and the warrior in fantasy RPGs, in that order.

I know it isn't a perfect analog between fantasy and this sci-fi setting, but that's what I'm seeing.

My main playthrough, I’m thinking a Corporate hacker type that tries to approach this cleverly and wants to use the system without being a bastard.

And then a melee focused female solo styled after Battle Angel Alita, Street Kid background. Much more straightforward and violent but with a strong sense of justice.
