Choose a video game, then cast the movie based on that game. You can do full "Fantasy" casting, with no regard for budgets and availability (or even whether or not the actor is still alive), or you can do realistic casting or a mix of the two. You can also cast just the protagonist/antagonist, a main cast or the whole lot including "Bank customer #3". The movie would, of course, be written and directed by yourself, so that it is done right, but who do you trust to bring your beloved character(s) to life on the big screen? And if you feel like it, a basic plot (if you'd prefer the movie's story differed from the plot of the game it was based on). Red Dead Redemption 2Arthur Morgan - Timothy Olyphant - I know, bit of a cop-out as he was in a western series already, but a great actor who can carry a scene. Has serious dramatic talent and can drop a savage sarcastic one-liner with the best of them. Micah Bell - Michael Fassbender - great actor with a strong physical presence and can make himself seem absurdly unappealing for a guy with such effortless personal charisma. LENNY - Michael B Jordan - I said fantasy casting was OK! Deal. With. It. Charles Smith - Jay Hernandez - he'd need to hit the gym and eat a few sandwiches at the same time, but other than that, delivers soft-touch sarcasm like a pro. Dutch Van Der Linde - Ian McShane - might be a bit old (and no-one is going to have the "right" voice for Dutch except the voice actor) but screams old fashioned 'honour among thieves'. John Marston - Chris Pine - more earnest than Arthur and with a strong physique. Bit more understated in dramatic performances. Abigail Marston (Roberts) - Emmy Rossum - great actor, when in dramatic roles, looks like she could bend steel by glaring at it. Karen Jones - Katherine Heigl - ____________________ Since it's a very 'cinematic' game with a great plot, would just run with the same story line.
