Lots of skellies in these pictures: - The person to the right in the first picture, who seems to be a companion, and someone suggested could be a Mortalitasi?.
- Then there's the guy in the water just above Dorian in the second picture. Seems to either be wearing a skull helmet or mask, or to be an actual skeleton. Maybe same guy as in the first picture?
- The big skeleton in the last picture seems to be wearing a similar headpiece as the potential companion in the first pic, and has what looks to be glowy ethereal looking flames (veilfire?) around. So again, maybe related?
I don't know, maybe it's all unrelated, but I found it curious. Well i think its related. This skeleton helmet guy has to be the Mortalitasi companion alongside Dorian and hopeful Harding.

Besides like hawke in Inquisition i am sure they will play a role. The thing is not all Inquisitors say that. For example most of mine say they need to save the world again. And please no repeat of Hawke.

It's completely warranted, and I'm still holding back. Yes I can. DAI ended as a complete story. Then Trespasser came out, undid that by dragging them into a new story, only to leave them tossed to the side like trash for this new character. And for what, to show us Solas was the Dread Wolf and he was planning evil things? We already knew that with the end credit scene. So like I said, it was all for nothing. It most certainly did not. Even if Trespasser has shone new light on the fact that this is a story that has a grand arch going way beyond one game, it's quite apparent from vanilla DAI that this was an open-ended story. Anyway - you seem to have your mind set and I won't be arguing ad nauseam stuff like Inky not being protag hardly indicates that they are 'tossed to the side like trash', so... I hope you'll find something to your liking somewhere else? It most certainly did.

Yeah....that whole "New Hero" thing really made my interest in this game bottom out. I'll still keep an eye on it, but my hopes are not high for any meaningful resolution to the whole Solas/Inquisitor situation.  |

Besides like hawke in Inquisition i am sure they will play a role. We know from Lead Writer themselves that having no appendage was not disqualifying anyone as a PC. So I, for one, am still looking towards Inky - even not as a PC or main PC - rocking a badass prosthetic, as (as mentioned above) we know from Tevinter Nights that these exist in Thedas.

Inquisitor who chose to save Solas: Becomes an absolute wimp constantly crying and avoiding anything that might hurt him. Inquisitor who chose to Stop Solas: Becomes an absolute monster committing atrocities in the name of stopping his plans.

I don't know, maybe it's all unrelated, but I found it curious. Maybe the follower with veilfire face is like the guy from Tevinter Nights who didn't know he was dead? I forget his name... that would be super cool!

I think that´s Harding (no surprise) and Dorian (big surprise) accompany the new female hero (Lord of Fortune?)
So yeah Harding and Dorian maybe confirmed as companions?
 Underwater adventuring! Dorian, Isabella and most likely Harding. Trying to reach something with a red glow. I'm betting my ass that the idol they are searching for. Here is the connection with the inquisition: we are still there, we are still fighting. Yes, Inq won;t be a sole protagonist. Ant frankly told it was never gonna happen, not with message they constantly have been giving to us- new game, new hero. But that doesn't mean we won't see and/or control Inquisitor. They have too big of a role to play, who else will recruit us against solas? Remember, Patrick said that authorities are unwilling to address the treat. The only way they can get rid of Inquisitor is to kill them off at the start, but that will be so distasteful, that I am positive they won't do it.

I think we’re all failing to address the most pertinent thing from the concept art, and it’s that this Qunari lady has curves like a racetrack.  Well i for one welcome our new chiseled dummy-thicc overlord, may the lass-leaning lassies get their qunari cake and eat it too. Tevinter Nights established the existence of prosthetics in the DA world that allow people to explore and fight. Also Bioware said that's notr why they removed the arm. Though clearly that was a lie and makes them disgusting individuals. Hawke was completely ruined in Inquisition. The fact that the Inquisitor isn’t the protagonist doesn’t mean that they lied on the arm being removed to justify a new protagonist, though. If I recall, weird as it is for me, they did plan Trespasser to the closure on the Inquisitor (I think DAI was better in this regards then Trespasser).

I'm seeing a little bit of Anthem influence...I mean, just in the visuals, that's all. The environments, underwater exploring, fortresses, weather, etc. I did love the visuals and environments in Anthem, so that's a plus.
I too prefer Inquisitor for protagonist so that's disappointing...though with how many years it's been since DAI by the time this releases, I kind of expected that would be the case.
I like the theme about "what happens when you don't have power." It looks like it will have a lot of political themes and not just about saving the world...which was what I loved about DA2. If the new protagonist ends up having a similar role in the story like Hawke, I would probably grow to like them though.

The original project for the fourth DA game, lead by Laidlaw, was completely scrapped by EA when they decided to send most of the DA team to work on Anthem. This is a different project from that, so it hasn’t been in development for 6 years.
