I mean, I wasn't particularly overjoyed by aspects of the ending... but then again I wasn't soul-crushingly disappointed either. Honestly, I was on the side of more favorable than unfavorable. I've played games I spent hours on only to feel a surprised "wait, is this it?" at the end. Some endings left me completely unbothered to the point where I can barely remember them.
I wouldn't mind seeing them take another stab at the Milky Way (although I was never against Andromeda and liked the idea), but I really do hope they don't railroad us unless at the very least there can be some decently credible lore-reason for doing so. Saying "yeah, your ending just wasn't the true one" is such a cop out, and it would leave a bad taste in my mouth even if my ending turned out to be the canon one.

I'll give you a hint. It never mattered. Of course it didn't. It was, what? Like 5 angry guys on BSN? It's not like the endings were universally panned and ranked among the worst endings to any medium ever. Pretty much. Loud people can be very loud even if they are the minority. Then you have the bandwagon people who never even played the game but repeat opinions they hear like glorified parrots. Which is actually insulting to parrots because parrots are at least able to understand what they are saying to one degree or another. The most recent popular example being Fallout 76. A game that launched with bugs and glitches and certainly isn't everyone's cup of tea. Yet to this day the most vocal people who complain about it are people who never actually played the game. They parrot youtubers and other people's statements without any personal experience and yet treat it like gospel. Which is such a staggeringly sheep mentality it is actually discerning. It is one thing to have experienced the game and agree with people who think similar. It is entirely different to have no experience and treat their word as gospel.
Seriously if I had a dollar for each time someone still makes the statement that Betehsda forces you to buy a subscription to play the game I could afford a PS5 for myself and my wife. All because some video game comment about 76 will state that and get hundreds of up votes and the person who corrects them will get hundreds of down votes.
And yes I do know the internet has changed since back in the day when ME3 was released. But the mentality and behavior of people have remained the same. People have been screaming Runescape is one update away from death since I started playing it in 2006. And while I have stopped playing because I've not like the direction the game is going the fact is those same repeat of the game is one update away from death are still continuing in 2021.
There is nothing the internet (and gamers in general) loves nothing more then outrage. It is their nourishment and their reason for existing. And woe to anyone who dares to have a different opinion because that outrage train has no breaks.

Yeah it's always looked fun to play but I personally was never really any good at it but that's mainly because of my disability which was why I kind of cheated and just used the app t obump it up. But yeah I know you could get the best endings just by making sure you did everything but it did kind of bug me having this galactic readiness score staring me in the face every time I checked the war assets screen to see what I had done and/or collected. Thankfully the LE doesn' t have that and hopefully it won't return as I prefer having what I achieve in the single player stay in single player rather than be cut in half by some ridiculous readiness score to accommodate multiplayer.
Ideally they would just add another screen at the main menu next to ME3 for the MP. But this is all hypothetical. Still holding out hope because it was fun and I had some fun times back in the day. But I'm not expecting it to actually happen.
Yeah hopefull ythey'll just add the MP maps and characters back in in a seperate mode and not touch ME3 at all. As it is the only thing I want them t od ois just patch things up a bhit where patchin is needed but other than that I'm happy with what we got in the LE. I haven' t quite finished my first playthroug hye tbut I almos thav and I should be finished by the end of today given I only have the Citadel party and final mission to do.

No that is you being an argumentative little troll because you disagreed with my statement that you think the fight is shitty. Literally asking me to quote you. So if you have issue with me saying you hated the fight then by the simple fact you disagreed with my statement means you have to either find the fight OK or amazing or some level in between. Otherwise you wouldn't have disagreed with me. And when asked to clarify your point you deflect away.
I don't usually do this but this time I have taken a screen shot of your reply encase you ever complain about me talking down to you or treating you in any condescending way in the future.
I am not trolling you. 1v1 me babby, or drop it. Literally in a conversation about how difficult Kai Leng is and what enemies are more difficult them him you suddenly jump to solo 10 waves on platinum difficulty just because I said a specific enemy is only a threat to new and inexperienced players. And in that shark jumping stupidity not only made the claim that Kai Leng's fight is not the equivalent of 10 waves on platinum on MP and you want proof of something that only experienced players can achieve. Which actually proves my point. No one can be that stupid unless it is on purpose. Your trolling and you are doing a really shitty job of it. I am not trolling. You may not have the courage or dignity to accept or refuse my challenge, which would show everyone 1) if you can handle Phantoms "easily", and 2) if you actually do know how to play the game. Both, due to your beliefs regarding game mechanics, are seriously in question. Finally, you can say that I am trolling. You cannot call Iakus or anyone else here an "argumentative little troll" - that is blatant name calling, is anti-social, is your opinion shared by very few here, et cetera. You keep thinking that all the children are wrong... I guarantee I am older than you are, for one. For two, if you keep thinking you are the only right one, perhaps it is time for a serious long look in the mirror. You need some reality in that skull dude.

I've seen far to many angry loud gaming minority groups angrily shout down anyone that disagrees with them and circle jerk themselves so hard in their own bubble they think they speak for the vast majority of the player base and anyone who disagrees is clearly just a boot licker or a moron to see it any way else.

There are no secret rules.
No one is allowed passive-aggressive posting or trolling. Unless they're anointed by the forum gods. No one is allowed.
Back on topic, I was underwhelmed. I know some folks loved it, but I just could not get enthused. Mass Effect has kinda faded for me.

Spectr61 : Listen on! Listen on! This is the truth of it. Fighting leads to banning, and banning gets to perma-bans, and that was damn near the death of us all.

Now, when mods get to fighting, it happens here, and it finishes here!

Note: If you are doing the Citadel DLC final boss battle and you blow Brookes's head off with your sniper rifle, your Shepard Clone will still be able to revive her with medi-gel and she will then be a headless horsemen trying to kill you. Fair warning. Pics or it didn't happen I hope I remember to try this by the time I get to Citadel DLC. bsn.boards.net/post/1473359/thread

I'm falling asleep as I type this, but wanted to get it said before forgetting.
Why did they not give us some Alliance skins for all this damn Cerberus armor? Ugh. Cerberus Ajax Armor? James has the Alliance version as one of his +weapon damage looks. That's just one example. The Alliance textures already exist, and likely wouldn't be tough to create from scratch if they didn't.
This is another low-hanging fruit they missed. I didn't really expect this to be changed; but it's such a small thing that would've made many players very happy.

I would have loved it if we could adjust the colors and lights on all armor types in ME2 and ME3, although I could see why they wouldn't want to allow changes to the logo'd armors, particularly the Blood Dragon armor (where they made up the connection to a team they named the Edmonton Blood Dragons).
I seldom use the logo'd armors though... mostly because they're one piece and I like to see my Shepard's face when I play. In ME2 and ME3, I usually acquire a Kuwashi visor as soon as I can and wear that instead of a helmet. I honestly don't pay much attention to the various armor bonuses.

I'm about to do the suicide mission. Last time I did I lost Legion (thanks for that Miranda!) so it's going to be interesting to see if I lose someone this time around. I'd really like for everyone to stay alive, it would break my heart to see them killed! After this I only have Arrival left of ME2, so it's the last mission with my companions. Gonna miss them. Can't stress how much fun I've had replaying these games, so glad the devs did a sneaky so we could get the remaster. Thank you devs!

I'm not much looking forward to go a couple saves back and play the few missions again, then choose different weapon & companions for that double Hydra mech part in one sidemission (ME2LE). *sigh* Totally forgot it had this Hydra mech "horde moment" where they are already very close to you, well at least the right side one. Its so long I've played 2 through out In other news: most of this game can be completed by just throwing shockwave after shockwave with Adept, but its quite bad as it was in me3, makes screen shake a lot and me queasy. Not looking to have that, heavy screen overlays and the staggers in 3 either but it is what it is, old combat mechanics.

I usually rely on Stasis for that one... so I'm debating taking the Cain when I get to that point... assuming Bioware doesn't patch stasis back into the game. I figure the Cain should make quick work of them 2 baddies.
There's also the one Blue Suns side mission, but I seem to manage that one OK by just tucking in the squad by the entrance where the mechs can't really kill them. I usually bring Tali and Miranda. Tali keeps them occupied with her drones and Miranda whittles down their shields and armor.

The Garrus mission was easy but this took me by surprise, then again I had already decided to stop 'for the day' when I played last time so I retreated. But I had totally wrong heavy weapon and companions. Its the Blue Suns I think. I'll load the previous blue suns mission..

You act like there is much to talk about. The LE is just the original release with graphical and performance upgrades. Everything that has been said about them for the last 8 years has been said. The only new thing are new players coming into repeat what has already been said 8 years ago simply because they are new.

It's the Garrus one that always kicks my butt... mostly because my companions rush to cover down in front, die right away, and I'm left fighting both mechs on my own. Alternating stasis on each mech works wonders since I can then deal with one at a time... but, sadly for me, no stasis bonus power yet in LE (I'm a soldier build, insanity). I'm keeping that save file on hold to wait to see if Bioware patches stasis back in. My current run is on normal, so I'm sure I'll be OK regardless of whatever bonus power I have with me at that point. Weapons and AR should be ample to get them both down on normal (I hope anyway... it's been a long time since I played ME2 on normal difficulty). So far into the run though, it's pretty easy.

Ah yes, maybe I'll .. wait who has Stasis in 2 ? Liara? Just cannot remember. That would work. Yes, the stasis bonus power is acquired after doing LotSB. I can't remember for sure whether or not you have to invite her up to the ship to get it. I think it triggers just by going back and talking to her in the Shadow Broker's base after the end of LotSB. (However, it's currently bugged in MELE.)

Andromeda has taken completely over the combat
