I would very much like to see 60fps gameplay for ME:LE. So far the videos have shown only 30fps. Yeah it’s rough going back to 30 fps once you’ve gotten used to double the frames for a while. Not that I'm disappointed with the gameplay. I've loved what we've seen so far. It's just strange that all of the videos for this have been 30fps only, even though the game is expected to be 60fps on PS4 pro, Xbox One X, the next gen consoles, and unlocked for PC. I'm not sure if it will go up to 120fps on PS5. Not that it matters. My TV is 60hz, and there are multiple features needed for a new TV to qualify as a true 120hz screen, and that would result in frustrating research. So, I'm currently good with 60fps.

Powers were not remotely useless on insanity in ME2. Warp and energy drain were probably the most useful. Everything else felt like a love tap against shielded enemies. Why would one use powers designed to be useful against health/armor/barriers (which is most biotics) vs an enemy with shields still up? This is like complaining that Overload or Energy drain does no damage to a Krogan or Collector. If biotic, shoot with SMG/Shotgun to remove shields. Alternatatively, tell squadmate to overload/energy drain. Then use biotic power to ragdoll, increase damage taken by the enemy by 100% and set up combo. Kill helpless enemy. EZ. ME2 rock/paper/scissors system is more interesting than 3 where every power combos with and kills everything, and the game is as a result insanely easy.

It might be that, since the XBONE/PS4 use AMD's busted old Jaguar cores, that's like a fx 6300 cpu equivalent, the games may be CPU bottlenecked on the last gen consoles. Meaning, whether 1080p or 2160p, it's going to do ~30fps, regardless. The XSES will do 1080p 60, with the XSEX/PS5 doing 1080p 120fps and 4k 60fps.

Question? I was sitting here wondering with all these lighting changes to the MET do you think we will be able to see Tali's face through her helmet rather than the photo shopped picture we get in ME3????

ME1LE is probably the most power consumer from the bunch. I hope for 30 FPS on consoles and 60 for ME2 and ME3. I do not will to play again below 30 fps. The trilogy was awful on PS3.

To me, this was one of the things BioWare never should have touched. Tali's face remaining a mystery would have been one of the best mysteries for the franchise. Sure. Everyone wants to know. Just like everyone wants to know who actually created Bitcoin. Sometimes, it's simply better not to know. Instead they wanted to appease their fans and failed miserably, and likely won't be able to fix it anymore either.

It was awful on 360 too, but I still enjoyed it, even on PS3. For me, the PS3 version lacked triggers, so it felt weird to shoot. With PS4 & PS5, that has been redeemed.

Question? I was sitting here wondering with all these lighting changes to the MET do you think we will be able to see Tali's face through her helmet rather than the photo shopped picture we get in ME3???? I doubt it. It would require making a face for her and animating it for conversations and I think it would just be a can of worms once they started down that path. Now I could be wrong, but I don't think they would have wanted to go through every cinematic conversation with Tali and made sure the animations all worked for that could become time consuming and expand the scope of the project further then they wanted to go.

This makes me curious about how they’ll portray Quarians in the new game, assuming that they’re in it at all. I wonder if they’re going to just stick to them being obscure faces behind the mask indefinitely.

Tali mentions that they might still wear the suits because they’ve become part of their culture, but I imagine some scenes will have them without their masks on like a romance. The Synthesis ending also shows them in their suits but not the masks, so maybe not even most of the time.

I’m betting on there just being a bit more detail and animated faces behind the mask, but still having them wearing a mask nonetheless. I would be very surprised if BioWare removes them from their envirosuits, since the helmets themselves are practically the “faces” fans know, just like how Volus are just weird looking steampunk mole people.

I think its much more likely to happen in a new game then a remaster where they are trying to be as hands off as possible for two thirds of it. I could also see them enhancing the faces of the Quarians behind the masks, but not having the visors being completely transparent either so they would be more shadowy figures instead of just a dark spot.
