I am the rarest one there is (or one of the rarest, depending upon who you ask). I am an INTJ. Which means that I don't believe in the MBTI. I'm also a Sagittarius, so I don't believe in astrology either. I'm a Capricorn myself, and while I don't believe in astrology or 'personality tests' I do always find them interesting and enjoyable
sad to say, most of the things the site says about my type (INFP) rings rather true.
I'm quiet among strangers, though open up quickly if a person feels right ('aura' and all that) upon which I get rather talkative I've always been told my empathy is one of my biggest virtues, though I'm also often told I'm 'too nice' at times as well, as in, I have a hard time telling someone no
according to the YouTube channel I linked above, people with my type are also quite prone to being depressed, or rather when they get depressed they hang in it longer due to being more mind focused...and I've sadly had my share of semi-depressions over the years. Looks like FJ finally caught up to you:

Edit: so...watched the vid...and most of the things he said about Turbulent are true for me I get anxious about upcoming events, like for example...in May I'm going to start a new study, I'm not anxious about it yet, but that'll likely happen the closer I get toward that date on the other hand, he said Turbulent people are prone to being pessimistic...but I'm usually more of an optimist (my dad on the other hand is an A+ pessimist, he tends to be very pessimistic about nearly everything ) Anyway, thanks for the link

If your non-dominant A/T is well developed enough maybe the opposite of what they say is true.
Though...
In my opinion the video left me more confused than understanding.
I think this A/T may actually be easier for me to define down to either personal confidence in your abilities -or lack there of. To explain:
Being an "A" means being confident in some field and being a "T" means questioning or having misgivings in ones own confidence in that field. Maybe this can lead to anxiety for "T" and optimism or even what may seem arrogant for the "A".
As with your example of a study -I assume school or college/university with unknowns? Well I will run with this example any way since it fits:
Me being a person who needs to know all I could before hand. I would go to the school/college/university before hand -months even and get all the information I could about whatever I was going to be doing. And not just one time I would go back again and again till everything absolutely was known backwards and forward.
So much so that I would know to the second what I would do every day at every hour of that day during the whole procedure.
No anxiety for me.....
Then a hurricane hits and the schedules get changed... OK now there is the anxiety.
Or is this speculative hypothesizes completely baseless?

Confidence for me is...tricky , I have a past of having been bullied for 6 years (starting in 5th grade of elementary school, all the way 'till the last grade of middle school), which has damaged my confidence considerably, which also affects my working ethics and also gave me social anxiety (to which I have a hard time starting somewhere new, or even trusting people's compliments). As such I'm often told I'm 'slow' in my working ethics, and have been fired from several jobs in the past due to being considered slow in terms of the norm.
And sure, I'm no Roadrunner when it comes to many things, but my lack of self-confidence has made is so that I want to do things right, which takes times. But in the current climate there's this 'time is money' working ethic, which leaves people like myself in the dust.
For example, a few weeks ago I had a job for half a day, where I had to package labels. The supervisor said I had to work 'faster', so I worked at my personal top speed. As a result I made mistakes, mistakes someone else had to fix. It made me very anxious up to the point my hands started to shake, which made working fast even harder. At the end of the day the supervisor said I wouldn't need to return the next day because they needed someone who worked faster. Naturally that hit me, I mean...I'm aware I'm a slow worker, but it makes me sad that some people won't even give me a chance to improve.

I understand the issue. My philosophy is: Take away the bullies power.
Some techniques:
Confuse your bully and walk away. If they expect to make you cry -show no emotion. If they physically beat you -don't respond... Though if you want to freak them out just laugh and say you enjoy the pain. If they dunk you in the toilet just gulp the water and spit it back at them and ask them do they want to continue?
EDIT: Yep. Basically Me: I don't know if I was ever bullied -though I think some tried...
First I have a high tolerance for pain. So in gym I made sure in the locker room to headbutt the locker -maybe due to some mistake I would have made in class. Doing this caused me so little pain that people thought me weird but the bullies avoided me. Actually caught someone say once -when being enticed to bully me: "Why bother? He doesn't feel pain."
On the off chance they would steal my clothes -which happened once and they probably thought they had me. Didn't work though because in the off chance that ever did occur I always had backup clothes stashed in the trashcan... Surprised they never realized it -maybe it was the garbage bag but they were more surprised when I walked out clothed.
Then there was this one idiot in school who loved tripping people, pulling their pants down, kicking them in the shins or whatever -nothing serious mind you. I also had trained myself to be agile on my feet -I follow Tai-Sabaki. So they tried to trip me I stepped through their trip attempt and turned to them: "Do you need something?"
After which they just stood their with dumb mouth open but not moving as I walked on to class. They tried again the next day this time they were pulling peoples' pants down and embarrassing them. Didn't realize I saw what they were doing before they tried to do it to me. I weaved my way away from them while getting them to come near me -them not realizing the dean was only 30 feet away. I was wearing my jacket grabbed my pant pockets as they tried repeated and failed and as I continued walking heard the dean ripping into them.
So yeah don't think I was really bullied but maybe I cut it short of ever beginning. As to being told to work faster I can agree.
If I know myself -as I do and knowing that if I move fast I will make mistakes. Which is INDEED true for me to: move fast and goof up and errors all day.
To that employer demanding I work faster. I would look them in the eye and say:
I am not fast enough for you? Are you calling me mentally ill?
Are you discriminating against me because of I can't move like Speed Gonzales? Why are there others here moving at the same rate as me and yet you single me out?
Is this really about my efficiency or your own inadequacy?
If I am not good enough to do this job effectively -then that must mean this job is beneath me.
So good day sir/madam I QUIT!!!!!!!!!!!!
Though if this is happening it also means a very good likelyhood that I am in the wrong field of occupation. The MBTI website gives a good listing of careers. And according to you being INFP packaging doesn't necessarily fit as well as these do: This could also help:

Though if this is happening it also means a very good likelyhood that I am in the wrong field of occupation. The MBTI website gives a good listing of careers. And according to you being INFP packaging doesn't necessarily fit as well as these do: This could also help: Oftentimes I think boys have an easier way of handling bullies (not always true mind you), I suppose it's also different depending on who bullies you I was born in a year where in my hometown there were born a lot of girls, so in my elementary class of 28, we had 18 girls...thankfully none bullied me but one of the boys that bullied me, also ended up in the same class as me when I went to middle school, as did one girl who I'd been friends with since I was 4 years old.
Sadly that boy knew many of my weaknesses, so he 'briefed' it through to some other boys in my new class, who helped him bully me. I also lost that friend of mine, mainly because she matured quicker and had an easier time making new friends, though she never became mean to me and even helped me cheer up when I had a rough day. And making new friends had become hard for me, one person I considered a 'friend' even let herself be bullied away.
Then in second grade middle school puberty started to happen for me...and not in the fun way, I'm a hairy girl so I had a lot of people bully me for having hairy legs and such. I've tried combating it in various ways, and though it's been years I still refuse to wear short pants even in a heatwave. The worst of course were the obligated swimming lessons. One time one of my bullies even tried to drown me in the swimming pool, luckily a woman was nearby who saved me. It gave me an aversion to swimming pools, and swimming in general.
In third grade I finally made a new friend, who was also being bullied...up to the point she tried to commit suicide. After she came back to school I tried to help her best I could, even though at the time I too needed help. When we started high school I talked to her online various times, and one time she even admitted to me she'd started bullying one of her classmates. That...was the end of that friendship. I saw her a few times more after she transferred to the same school as I, even hung out with her a few times, but I didn't like her anymore. We were friends for...I think 4-5 years, but after I stopped being friends with her, I evaluated things she'd done while we'd been friends, and turned out she'd only been using me. (I won't get into too many details, but it was suffice to say she wasn't a very nice person at times)
Heh, reading those things...I wish I'd known you 15 years ago , someone like you would've been a great help to me. But I was far too afraid to get into trouble myself.
As for those jobs...I'd love to be a writer, but I have a hard time getting anything onto paper. Some years back I wrote a tale that's about...84 pages long in MS Word (contains 69011 words). So that's hardly enough to call it a book I've been meaning to revisit it, or maybe make something new but I can't really figure out something original. Often I feel as if everything has already been written, I feel the same when creating fan characters for series. (Which might also extend to my main world state for Dragon Age...12 years and I'm finally starting to get there )
I'll take a look at the vid you posted

So that's hardly enough to call it a book 50,000 words is usually considered the baseline to reach 'novel' status, and a bit below that and you're in novella territory, so you're already past all that! Some pretty famous stories fall under 50,000 like The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy (~46k) , The Great Gatsby (~50k), Fahrenheit 451 (~46k), As I Lay Dying (~56k)... I definitely encourage you to revisit your writing

I do have it posted on my DeviantArt...in case someone might be interested in reading it (it's one complete story and two chapters from the second story, I had plans at the time to make a trilogy spanning 3 generations of one family)
Though if I were to revisit it I'd probably change several of the characters as well as the overall plot

Practice writing anything. Even if its not original. Something may come to you along the way, and if not, it doesn't matter. Helps you get into the zone for when you do get an idea. You don't even have to show it to anyone if you're not comfortable, it's more about getting into the habits as such.

(Which might also extend to my main world state for Dragon Age...12 years and I'm finally starting to get there ) I'll take a look at the vid you posted Sure the video may help. Ironically I was doing what he talks about in it even before he was probably 10 years old. But he did say the word logical so maybe that is why it just came to me naturally. If you could have found an INTJ-A who was 100% introvert maybe they could have indeed been a big help. My sister and I both had a friend like that -who only wanted us for our minds. Want to go do something in our off hours like video games or basketball and they go.... uh I gotta go. Since high-school though I have moved 3 times to two different states so far have not seen them since. I have never kept in touch with old classmates -since I was enough of a weirdo to them back then. Heh who cares I am who I am and nothing changing that.
Personally I can understand -a little bit. For I to don't like swimming pools. Though for me it was about the drain that was activated by an idiot employee -fired after this: I was swimming down under in the deep end and they activated the drain.
Sucked my arm straight down. I never personally been bullied in the water but the above gave me aversion to water period... Ok I still wash after using the restroom -COVID really changed me... HA!
If this is the situation where you were in the shallow end and they are above you:
Could have faked being drowned already and then they loosen their grip for a second and gut punch/gut kick them and get out of there.
Or just flail like crazy splashing this way and that so some superior would see and come in and end it.
If it had happened in the deep end:
Should have tried -if was a guy -gut punch or groin kicking him or grabbing and pulling them down forcing yourself up. If a girl grab their hair and go to rip it out or as in most cases these idiots GO FOR THE EYES!.
Guess those also work for the opposite genders though faking being drowned may work in both cases too.
I also understand about the hair thing.
I don't like the hair but it just grows to fast to cut so I leave it alone.
If they complained/mawked/bullied me about it in school... All I would say is well congrats on having no hair. Aren't you someone to envy since you can finish a race faster than me -your so streamlined. But in you case I would probably have said Yes! I am and that means I will not be as cold in the winter as you.
That being said I also understand covering up being tied to this but not for bullying reasons:
I have a high tolerance for pain but if someone even makes physical contact with my skin it is like being set on fire... Fire with spikes of flame shooting into my body -which is why I wear pants and a long sleeve jacket 24/7 -no matter the weather -even if 100*F Think of a flaming spiked Iron Maiden -not the band but the torture device.

50,000 words is usually considered the baseline to reach 'novel' status, and a bit below that and you're in novella territory, so you're already past all that! Some pretty famous stories fall under 50,000 like The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy (~46k) , The Great Gatsby (~50k), Fahrenheit 451 (~46k), As I Lay Dying (~56k)... I definitely encourage you to revisit your writing I was aiming for 100 pages in MS Word to be honest (but I ran out of steam...lots of it is very rushed) but damn...I wasn't aware it was already that much I do have it posted on my DeviantArt...in case someone might be interested in reading it (it's one complete story and two chapters from the second story, I had plans at the time to make a trilogy spanning 3 generations of one family) Though if I were to revisit it I'd probably change several of the characters as well as the overall plot Likewise I wrote a story back in MS Word 97 and MS Works before Word came out way back in middle school that was 20 chapters 8-10 book pages per chapter. It was about a Star Trek future that pretty much mirrors the Star Trek Online game. Copycats, plagiarists!
I however don't remember the total length of it total words. I was thinking around 97000 but probably am way off. I got away with it by using small font type... I think I used font 6 of Times New Roman but not certain. I have since lost all copies and would have to start over

Practice writing anything. Even if its not original. Something may come to you along the way, and if not, it doesn't matter. Helps you get into the zone for when you do get an idea. You don't even have to show it to anyone if you're not comfortable, it's more about getting into the habits as such. For me this can be bad. I can start writing and before you know it. It 24 hours later! Sometimes it is just better to keep it in my galaxy of a brain.

I definitely encourage you to revisit your writing Gene Wolfe wrote on an actual typewriter, at least as late as the 80s. He said that he would write until he was finished, and then determine whether he had written a novel or a short story by looking at the height of the stack of pages. The Book of the New Sun was originally novella-size, but he had to expand it in order to figure out what a lot of what he had written was actually about; IIRC he didn't know who Dr. Talos and Baldanders were, among other things.
