DAI did it even better: Multiple styles of outfit for each character AND the ability to mess with the color scheme! True, though I didn’t like how it forced armor looks to change. Or how much it limited the options for the player (we should have access to the companion styles at least). Well, the system can always be improved. But in basic layout, it had the right idea. I never understood what Dorian had against sleeves, and specifically the LEFT sleeve

Eh that's not on PeeBee though. Most of the characters had that 'Milky Way is all explored and sucks - Andromeda is new and exciting' attitude when there's already established lore that most of the milky way is unexplored. Andromeda was just a terrible terrible concept really. PeeBee was one of the few shining lights. Eh, a bunch of people talked about wanting to get a fresh start, see what's out there 9like there wasn't a lot more "out there" to see in the Milky Way) But Peebee specifically talked about how everywhere she went, someone else had been there before at some point (ie the Protheans) As if there wouldn't be other races for an ARCHAEOLOGIST to study in Andromeda. Peebee never talks about studying civilization (what archeology is about). She's into studying/researching (new) technology. And she was clearly referencing experiencing things. She's a "new experience junkie". The Nexus wasn't event the first time she played stowaway.

Is it any wonder that in a future with interstellar travel and precursor races, there's a branch for studying ancient technology?

We study ancient technology now, so there is absolutely going to be a field for it in the future. Especially in Mass Effect with how ancient technology and studying it is how the races got where they are.

At this point maybe the franchise should be allowed to die. They’re going to abandon MEA fans. They’re going to betray many MET fans. They can’t even get their old games right anymore. Let the franchise rest. Somedays I fee ltha ttooPrehaps it is time to asy goodbye to ME if peopl eae rgtoing t otake offenc et owhatever Biowaer attempt to do with it.

Archeologist do study technology, it helps understand a civilization and determine at what stage they were. But what Peebee is doing is the equivalent of going to Japan and researching/salvaging their robots/technology to makes new one (Poc and Zap) without caring about the culture being them outside learning more about their tech. She wants working samples to work with too. There are banters about her holding back when fighting Remnants because they are easier to study when not destroyed and not being shot at. She more like a zoologist, except she study living robots instead of living creatures.

While true that DA2 was a huge undertaking for such a short time, which is why I try not to be too hard on the game, although as an end product, as a consumer practice, it is the most laughable kind of product imaginable, continuing down the line of DA2 into DA:I was a terrible idea. I do understand Inquisition has better production values, but that's all that means. It wasn't a step toward the right direction and, as I've posted the NPD records of Inquisition's launch many times, its success was greatly exaggerated. To put it another way, during Inquisition's launch month, the lowest selling game on the top 10 list, which Inquisition didn't qualify for, had ~500k copies sold and to become Bioware's best selling launch, it would have to sell ~3.5 million copies in December of 2014 alone and it still didn't make the NPD top 10 for that month either. Just consider the possibility that Bioware was really, really stretching the truth as far as they possibly could. Also, unrelated, but to the people talking about how Scott Ryder's VA said he's working on the next ME This is from the day of the Will Continue trailer's release. It looks like he knows Ryder won't be in it, but would like to work on it regardless. And it isn't unheard of from Bioware to hire the same voice actor for more than one job. Hopefully, I'll never have to listen to mr. Sarah Michelle Gellar again, though. He was never that good, even as Fred in Scooby Doo. I actually liked Freddy Prinze Jr and the character of James Vega. I presume that's whom you are referring to.... Did a decent job as Iron Bull as well I think

I saved the Rachni in the first game, and there was a little tease about them in Mass Effect 2. How big of a repercussion do choices like that have in this game? Will get to play a mission that someone who killed the Rachni wouldn’t get? The thing I will say about Mass Effect 3 is that the choices you’ve made previously, and the differences that those choices represent, are much bigger than they’ve been in the past. There are certain missions that are simply not available at all because of something you’ve done in the past. Those are usually on a smaller scale. Is Conrad Verner alive or dead? [The presence of the Rachni] has huge consequences in Mass Effect 3. Even just in the final battle with the Reapers.

Even after the EC, the fate of the rachni didn't have "huge" consequences, or any consequences at all, regarding the final battle. Hell, you only got an ending slide showing them under very specific circumstances.

But...wasn't that showing how our choices "mattered"?
