Agreed. I was thinking limited series, like 6-10 episodes. I don't know how you tell any Mass Effect story in two hours. Maybe a trilogy? Probably not, if only because there's too much reliance on the first movie making enough money to justify a sequel. Unless they go 50 Shades with it and the last movie is straight to DVD.

Mid 50's isn't real great either. How about early to mid 30s? My back is killing me! God my back, my neck, my shoulder and an ankle are stuffed. I went to see a Dr and having reviewed my medical history she said when I walked in: "I thought you'd be in a wheelchair"

I have no idea how long this has been up, but I couldn't help but notice Seth Green's Twitter Banner... It'd be great to know if it is recent or not, either way it's great. I think he had it on for years.
He is clearly still proud of taking part of Mass Effect, despite moving onto other ventures for all these years.
If anything, if BioWare asked him to come back for more Mass Effect, he'd say hell yes!

Now here's the movie-
Cavil plays a hotshot game dev that catches magic in a new game.
Produces the next game in the series, it's wildly popular, starts to believe in his own hype.
Big game studios come calling, as does Hollywood.
Makes third and final game in series, fans hate it, create a shit storm on socials, and the hotshot tries to salvage with additional content added to the shitty ending.
Does not work. Controversy continues. Hollywood talk of movie disappears.
Hotshot leaves studio. Enters counseling trying to get over what could have been.
Cautionary tale of hubris...

I don't really see how you can jump into a movie at ME3's point without it being a horrid mess. If someone tried to sell me return of the Jedi as a standalone film i think i'd go huh.

Things I did not think about when building bike ramps, skiing down slopes past my skill level, jumping off cliffs, getting in fights etc in my youth. I tweaked it a bit sliding up between the ambulance partition to chat with the driver on a bumpy road. But man, I already knew that one way or another, the whole firefighter thing is going to get me. I'm fine, really. I just wanted in on the joke. My personal suspicions are show, roughly based off the trilogy -- with tweaks to make it friendly for a show as opposed to a game. I KINDA hope if he's Shepard, he's a vanguard because so help me, I would LOVE to see live action vanguard.

Organic life is nothing but a genetic mutation, an accident. Your lives are measured in years and decades. You wither and die. The pattern has repeated itself more times than you can fathom. You fight against inevitability. Dust struggling against cosmic winds.

I KINDA hope if he's Shepard, he's a vanguard because so help me, I would LOVE to see live action vanguard. I had an accident during my service. I had 6 discs in my spine injured, dropped another two carrying more weight than I could handle because I couldn't leave someone behind. A couple years back one of the discs, the A2 disc, which is the second disc in your neck, which was herniated, penetrated my spinal cord 3/4 of the way in and almost left me permanently disabled. It damaged the nerves of my entire left side permanently and put me in bed for 6 months. I spent a year just trying to get functionality to my left arm, which had atrophied. Trying to lift a glass full of water looked more like sexual harassment, than me actually trying to lift it. Everything hurts, every day. I'm 36. I work out every day to strengthen my body to put less strain on my spine. I will have to do so, till I die. Or any one of the other 5 discs can leave me disabled.
tl;dr don't enlist, folks.

Things I did not think about when building bike ramps, skiing down slopes past my skill level, jumping off cliffs, getting in fights etc in my youth. So far all injuries I ever sustained I could rehab back to 100% with sensible weight exercises and mobility exercises. Half a year ago I had two discs slipping and felt like I had a pitchfork stuck in my lower back for months, even getting up was hard. After 6 months of self-rehab I'm back doing 250kg deadlifts with no issues. Also, 5 years ago I tore my left shoulder joint ligament and my right biceps tendon, got it all back to 100% in a year with no surgeries. Getting my biceps tendon back to normal was the hardest, one wrong movement and all progress was lost in an instant, which happened 3 times. I'm in my mid 30's btw, and still fully operational.

Wow that's plain awful, good on you for getting through it and keeping on with the rehab, that takes a lot of discipline. It's not only enlisting, for me it was too much sport and body that wasn't really built for it plus a poor call by a doctor early on when I fractured my Tibia and Fibula which threw my whole back out of balance. I then ruptured the ligaments between L3, L4 & L5 playing baseball but that was just the final act aafte a decade of endurance and contact sport and not listening to my physio's and doctors. I kept doing too much endurance exercise and now have multiple degenerative issues in my shoulder (no AC Joint ligament), neck multiple disc bulges and bone spurs and a pinched nerve currently at C7 which just ATM causes a huge amount of pain down my left arm. Add in multiple broken bones and dislocations from competitive sports and my body is just a mess but for the most part functional. I just can't do any heavy lifting, can't run, swim or cycle anymore and even walking has to be kept to a minimum. Stretching is my saviour.

Well done Beetle, you have done well to get back to where you are. Back pain is an absolutely terrible experience and I am going through nerve neck pain currently and all I can say is thank god for medicine.

Till I visited the right doctor, one of the best neurosurgeons in the EU. He asked of me to turn semi pro. So I did. I started with swimming but now, due to lockdown, I use my old weights, because I can't go out. It's difficult, but I do appreciate the benefits of weight training. I too am poorly built. The factory defaults, as far as the spine goes, were very poor. Not that things couldn't have gone worse, considering the circumstances I, but a little better structural integrity would have gone a long way. It's important not to give up, in spite of it all. The prospects of fixing my issues with surgery are worse than ... not and just going at it with an active lifestyle and more protein in my diet to help with muscle growth. Honestly, in spite of it all, I can't complain. My body hasn't let me down yet. I couldn't ask for more.
Edit: I'm actually doing my weight exercises right now.
