A lot of it is just atmospheric instrumentals. Nothing wrong with that but out of the game it loses half of it's effect. I'd much rather listen to the below on a treadmill  |

It astounds me how good the score was for this game.
The game itself was pretty, with good art direction. But… had no story. What a tragic waste of this soundtrack.

Anthem was a game with some wonderful components. Around an empty core...  Agreed.
I liked the environs, I loved flying around. I even liked the atmosphere to start. I liked some of the suit customization looks wise. I even liked the short stripped down story and characters. A lot of the rest of it was so dang poor. Such a pity.

While I have 2500+ hours in the game and absolutely love the gameplay... the soundtrack is not something I'd write home about. I like the atmopsheric tune in the loadout screen though. Maybe I should listen to the whole thing outside of the game? Also I'm not sure if there is more music during the story mode that I can't remember since it's been so long since I finished that over 3 years ago.
