I tried to come up with some gameplay ideas for the next game and so far I ended up with the following:
-Considering it's set some 600+ years in the future, thermal clips will be gone and we will return to the glorious weapon recharge due to improvements in heat control.
-Grenades will be equipment with an exclusive key/button set apart from class powers with the protagonist being able to change their type on loadout stations/mission preparation and having a maximum limit of 6 from the start of the game. Recharge from special stations.
-Ammunition will return to being weapon upgrades you can swap on a loadout stations/mission preparation.
-Powers will each have individual cooldowns but you can combine only three at a time and swap between 4 favorite sets with a cooldown.
-No profiles, only traditional classes with nine powers and three passives.
-Damage resistance and cooldowns works as in Andromeda.
-Unity returns with an exclusive key/button to it and a maximum limit of 12 from the start of the game. Recharge from medi-gel stations.
-Bonuses are cumulative and not multiplicative.

-Considering it's set some 600+ years in the future, thermal clips will be gone and we will return to the glorious weapon recharge due to improvements in heat control.
-Grenades will be equipment with an exclusive key/button set apart from class powers with the protagonist being able to change their type on loadout stations/mission preparation and having a maximum limit of 6 from the start of the game. Recharge from special stations.
-Ammunition will return to being weapon upgrades you can swap on a loadout stations/mission preparation.
-Powers will each have individual cooldowns but you can combine only three at a time and swap between 4 favorite sets with a cooldown.
-No profiles, only traditional classes with nine powers and three passives.
-Damage resistance and cooldowns works as in Andromeda.
-Unity returns with an exclusive key/button to it and a maximum limit of 12 from the start of the game. Recharge from medi-gel stations.
