The sell figures of MELE might be better than Bioware thought it was going to be.
This is good, because it will motivate them to work even harder and with more joy(caused by in mind of how much loved ME is) on the next Mass Effect.
So far by watching those playthrough videos last days on youtoube it seems that they have taken their lesson from MEA and worked really hard to avoid releasing it with alot of bugs/glitches 🙂
So I think WE ALL SHOULD WRITE loveletters to the Bioware team of how much we appreciate what they done with MELE and also talk about what we thought was the positive sides of MEA.
If we feed them with positive things they will work better and put much more love and effort into the new upcoming Mass Effect game 🙂
Remember that the team have read a lot of negative things about them recently, that the old Bioware team is gone and not many of the old ones left.... That does more harm than good.....
Give them a chance and also tell them that you believe in what they doing, that is going to give them hope and comfort!
I really look forward to the next game in the series!

That's a nice sentiment.
I think it's obvious that they worked pretty hard on MELE, and there's clearly a lot of passion behind the remasters. I left a review on Metacritic because apparently it's being review bombed (Imagine my shock, that's all people do these days for big releases). It's not perfect by any means, but ME:A felt uninspired, and regardless of the beautiful graphics and great combat, the game lacked what the trilogy had.
If they can get back to that, no matter if the story they want to tell will be a continuation of Shephard's legacy, the lore and world of ME can continue to grow. The team's positive interaction with the fans is a factor in all of this.

I loved ME:A every bit as much as I loved the OT. I like MELE as a remaster of the OT because they refreshed it without destroying it by changing the story. I still hope they will finish the story begun in ME:A. Regardless of fan impressions, the story there still has a lot of potential to grow into a story every bit as inspired as the complete story told in the OT. I'm also inspired by Bioware's ability to keep doing what they love despite the crap they have received over their works over the years. They need to also keep in mind that their works are not the only ones being reviewed bombed on Metacritic. That they are not the only dev to have been plagued with a bug-ridden release despite efforts to avoid them. Game development can be a cold and harsh profession riddled with overly passionate fans that seem unable to separate the games from reality. Keep doing what you love, Bioware. You ARE good at it.

I love MEA & ME1 - more like them please You know, I am not against exploration and driving. Party banter in the cars is a fun idea and I would like to see it return, just as much as elevator banter. Overheat mechanics, instead of heatsinks, etc.
But I also liked the level and encounter design of ME2 much more than that of ME3

I was actually missing driving banter in ME1LE... but also I would like the exploration to have more meaningful rewards for loot, story rewards are ok/good usually. I would like in the future if most of the encounters could be somehow solved in multiple ways, not always like gunz blazign - or just by par/ren/special. There are few of those during all the games but most of the time its just too much combat. I mean it could be, if you wanted to play like that, but fex. engineer could open another way to circumvent combat - still get XP from it.

Despite the negativity Andromeda had, i loved it very much and i hope you continue and expand on it's story. It can become so much more, with proper care and love we can see a great game. People that left can come back, not all of them but still. I really wish that bioware has a better management this time. Just don't listen to the toxic negativity. The game has a lot of potential. I'm sure many people will be happy.

I think there is still alot of potential on the Andromeda side of things they just need to clean things up with better management and a tighter game design.

Positive? It seems most, if not all, on this forum enjoy the remaster minus a few hiccups. And going by some feedback it appears the general public do as well. This is good news.
I like the way they did the ems though I'm going through ME3 to make sure what I believe is correct.
Photo mode is great. If it wasn't for that, I would have played through the trilogy 3 times by now.

Positive feedback, right... I rediscover games I know by heart with a fresh eye. I'm surprised sometimes to see how the textures in ME1LE really changes the way I was remembering the scenes or the locations.

Well I'm still only halfway through ME1 but I continue to be impressed at how well they improved the visuals. Now I really want them to go back a remaster DAO and overhaul the combat because it has aged poorly.

A DA:O remaster/remake in a similar fashion would be cool, I'd play it.

Really just need a couple more dungeons and a bit of touchup magic on the visuals. At this point I'm much more likely to skip DAO and jump straight into DA2. I do very much enjoy the crazy combat...rogue is just the best.

I don't think it's fair to compare MEA with the entire trilogy. Three games and much longer time give people the opportunity to bond better with all the characters than just one game. I love both, ME and MEA. Of course the trilogy carries much more emotional load than MEA because of the duration of the trip but I really enjoyed playing MEA and I am very curious about those riddles and cliffhangers we are left with after finishing the main plot. Right now I have started 1st MELE playthrough and I can't get enough of it, when I heard Vigil in the ME1 'press any key' screen I had tears in my eyes. Never before have I loved a game and I am grateful to BioWare for creating this game so I could discover a new part of me when it comes to gaming. And all those nitpicking people should really reconsider their laments and realize how complex it is to create such a big game and expecting any game to be entirely bug free is just utopia. A game that fit on a 700MB CD can't compare to 100 GB one with such a complex lore. Nothing is perfect in this world. I can't wait for the next Mass Effect game, just "shut up and take my money" BioWare, literally! I will buy it regarddless of it being MEA2 or ME4 or some cross-game. There are a lot of dedicated fans with crazy good ideas, just listen to them a little, get creative and I'm sure we will have lots of fun ahead of us!

There are a lot of dedicated fans with crazy good ideas, just listen to them a little, get creative and I'm sure we will have lots of fun ahead of us! A few fair points, but I would like to address some things - Most of the ME characters were liked and well received since their first appearance. The ME2 crew are the best received in the franchise and most of them, barely have a whole game to themselves. ME:A characters have a game so big and so much content to them to equal, if not surpass, what most of the trilogy characters got in their entire run. The end result was people wanted more of the trilogy characters, but there isn't much interest for Andromeda characters. If we are to argue that Andromeda characters are actually well liked, Andromeda is popular and therefore it should make a return, then this shouldn't even be a conversation worth having to begin with.
- Exploring the answers to the questions and riddles raised by Andromeda is something worth exploring, but also how you go about it is equally as important. Maybe there is no plan behind them, just like with the Reaper plot, or what plan there is actively undermines the trilogy, much like the existence of the Initiative does.
- Nobody expects a bug free experience. I don't even expect what game does get released to be patched afterward. But something needs to be said about the condition of a product, on launch. If it was OK for Andromeda, then it's OK for Anthem, it's OK for Cyberpunk, etc. etc. These weren't a few bugs and glitches that passed through the cracks, but going by the Schreier article, the game was tearing at the seams. I will be very forgiving of any game, if the overall experience is making up for it, Alpha Protocol is one of my all time favourite games and it's bugged af, but that is a personal opinion, I can't expect everyone to share it.

Positive feedback? Okay, you've told Shepard's story, it was mostly good. So, now that you're done, it's time for a new venture with new characters, not old ones, except some mandatory references and old aged characters, of course
