A fascinating insight from 'the horse's mouth' so to speak.
What's your response to the Crestwood Demo when all is said and done.

I wish they'd kept that in, like...some time passes in the game, you return to said area and, for example...the bandits in Crestwood have a new leader who splits them into two teams to assault the keep and the village. You as the player decide what is worth protecting. I believe at one point they also had the option where you could decide which of the three advisors you'd give the keep. For example, having Cullen's army peeps be in Suledin Keep instead of Griffon Wing Keep, Leli's spies in Griffon Wing Keep instead of Cair Bronach etc. imagine the re-playability if you had more dynamic choices like that, I really hope they'll do something like this for DA4 though...seems a bit unlikely, at least imo.

Reminded me of DAO Redcliffe plot quest. Without help we all know what happens there.
The same with Crestwood. People are in real trouble, also terrified, darkness all the time and the High Dragon is hungry. What if just meet Hawke and leave the village. After X days (weeks etc.) we come back and see something similar to Redcliffe.
Our decision - and real consequences: people are dead. Even if we have a castle.
Would havee been nice indeed.

Was this created recently?
I wonder when the shift happened and we get t the ghosts of keeping a etc because they were already in the game prior to a de-emphasis of the military aspect
Somewhere dai llost a lot of the heartbreaking aspects that were in dao and da2. Da4 needs a return to this
