The Q&A touched a little on Mass Effect...
"'With the time frame you're saying for Dragon Age 4, is the New Mass Effect anything more than that teaser?’ [that was submitted question from a show viewer]
Not really, it's mostly that teaser. It's in pre-production, there are artists who are dedicated to Mass Effect coming up with ideas, there's definitely people building out concepts for what the game could be, but it's pre-production. It's pre-production for Mass Effect still. It'll be in a situation where, once Dragon Age 4 is done, and it gets its updates, the team will be ready to quickly move into actual production of Mass Effect, but don't consider it in anything but pre-production until then."

So, what are we looking at? 2025 4th Q earliest and more likely 2026 1st Q latest?

Sounds good to me. My kids would be 7 and 4 by then, meaning I could actually have some gaming time for myself more often than once per week for an hour or two.

This would be nice.
Emphasize exploration, discovery, and diplomacy. Have an arena for combat simulation, that way people who live for the combat can get their fix. Make the arena part of the world's boolean checks, and give some reactivity to the PC if they are "famous" from the simulator. Could be a fun optional sidequest, could also be co-op/MP hook.
I want to have a gun, and a melee weapon. I am an explorer, not a naive moron. That said, I would prefer talking to the aliens rather than shooting them. The only bang I want is with an enthusiastic affirmation that yes, it is ok.
If I have to kill something, give me a reason and a consequence.
