The 'Do you' thread....

I'm kinda interested in anything natural history, STEM, Anglo-American history, WWII. I was a total aircraft nut when young. You know those kids with 3-letter syndromes and their Dinosaurs? I was like that but with aircraft. I once participated in a nationwide competition in recognizing aircraft silhouettes. I was the only one with 100%. I learned enough aerodynamics, by myself, to design an aircraft, when I was still in my teens.

But I think the answer to your question has to be: I paint. ...And Fountain Pens.
I've always painted. The materials and techniques have changed as I grew older and could afford them, but I've always been drawing and painting as far back into childhood as I can remember. Back when I decided to pursue a career as engineer, I switched from oil to watercolor, because of the smaller footprint, but I always intended to keep it as a hobby.
I've used Fountain pens since I was 10, but it was always just a matter of working convenience and comfort. I only used cheap pens. The interest in the pens came much later, decades later. What happened was I ran out of ink, and discovered that my favorite stationaries stores didn't sell fountain pen ink anymore. So I went out into the internet mail order, and discovered that Fountain Pens actually had a big renaissance. ...And for a few years I became a FP nut, before calming down somewhat.

Do you shave everyday?

any way but in the garbage (unless you are including things like Beets and Brussel Sprouts)....I like my bell peppers just as I would eat an apple, but they are especially good with "Country Herb" dip mix. The best dip EVER!


Do you see the point in a 100,000 dollar price tag on a 98" 8K TV? (Or a 98" TV at all)?

No, I detest the Star Wars universe greatly.


Do you have any bad personality traits you try to suppress / combat?

I do not.  But my dad does:  His most recent acquisition was the Nikon D850, he's had it for maybe three years....absolutely loves it.  He's always preferred Nikon over Canon for Photography especially high res, because he does a lot of Photoshop.....Or at least he used to.

It depends on where you live - I live in the northern hemisphere so for me its definitely a winter holiday.
For me Christmas and winter is like whiskey and antidepressants - cant have one without the other.


Do you care much about your coworkers?

No, I prefer strawberry preserves (not to be confused with strawberry jam or (yuck) strawberry jelly).

Ehh, not my shtick. Not bad for fan-made though.
