The last time I played DAI the DLC didn't even exist yet. It was recently on sale with all DLC for about $8, so I grabbed it and it is installing. I have a completed game (and an abandoned second playthrough) but I suspect I'll actually start a new character, at least until I'm familiar enough with the combat and mechanics to pick up where I left off. I vaguely remember that they sold DLC that allowed players to alter their character's appearance. I'm someone who tends to spend hours in character creator only to restart several times once I see things in "standard lighting." How long does it take to unlock access to that DLC? I think it was something related to a mirror, and I'm guessing it is probably accessed from the main hub, once available. Also, if anyone has any advice about navigating DAI CC, I would definitely appreciate that. I remember it being difficult to work with, but that I was generally happy with the results (but it was a long time ago.) Edit: The first hour when you see your character at different angles and lighting, it's easy to over-react, but I like to give myself a few hours with them to let things grow on me. Ultimately, I usually become attached and end up abandoning the idea of changing them, which has happened here: I kept a few of the better or funnier images I captured and added them in a separate post.

Depends on which DLC you're talking about really Descen tand Jaws of Hakkon unlock once yo ureach Skyhold but have a recommended level of around level 20. Trespasse ron the other hand doesn't unlock until after you bea tCorypheus as it's moe rof an epilogue to the DAI story and a build up to DA4

I think you mean the Black Emporium, which unlocks after you open up the Hinterlands back in Haven, through the war table mission called "Scout the Hinterlands" (after which you unlock several more war table missions if you decide to go back to the war table instead of instantly going to the Hinterlands) The Black Emporium is free dlc so should be part of your game regardless once you unlock this you can travel to it whenever on your world map or by use of the war table in Haven/Skyhold
And CC...are you talking about the Character Creator or Custom Content?
in case of the latter...there's two programs which allow you to add custom content to your game, one is the older DAI Mod Manager and the other is Frosty Mod Manager both have several mods available to them, so it really depends on what you wish to add to your game. I myself personally only use DAI Mod Manager for this game, but I do know how to use Frosty as well (using that for ME Andromeda)

If I remember right, what you're describing is quite early in the game, which was what I was hoping was the case. And CC...are you talking about the Character Creator or Custom Content? Character creator. I grabbed it on Xbox one (mostly because that's where my original save files were) so unfortunately no mods. I actually just noticed that it had finished installing everthing, and I'm about to dive into the character creator. If I'm not back in eight hours, send doritos.

As for tips concerning character creation...really depends on the race you're going for (I so far found out I'm good at female elves and humans as well as male qunari ) example being this guy here > He's practically unmodded (though I did use a hair mod back when I played him), I started with the head that has the mustache
Also...just doritos? Don't you need something to wash them down with as well? I imagine just chips can get rather salty

Yeah I generally only use the DAI one as whilst I do know how to use Frosty I do find it a litle more cumbersome and sometimes unreliable so I use what works best for me. Jus tstarted a nwe DAI playthrough though this one I'm planning to kind of drift in and out of rather than do it all in one go given how big the game is. It's mostly because the nwe traile rfor Forspo0ken put me in the mood for a new run as a mage. Damn that game wish i twould just come out going t ohav et owait a little longe rthoug hgiven it's been delayed till October. I wa splaning on doing this mage but wasn' tplanning on starting her just yet. Still a good chance to wield some magic of my own so can't really turn that down.

I plan to replay the Dragon Age games once my subscription for Star Wars the Old Republic runs out...which is another week or so

I started a new Dragon Age: Inquisition playthrough myself back in September, I am about 130 hours in for a find everything style playthrough and starting the epilogue DLC Trespasser. I tried using mods in a playthrough in an attempt to start a new game back in 2020 and something went wrong and I couldn't load anything from that save.
One thing I have been using is a map website that has a good track record of noting everything on the maps for the main game and Jaws of Hakkon.

I plan to replay the Dragon Age games once my subscription for Star Wars the Old Republic runs out...which is another week or so Yeah I wasn't originally planning on playing DAI right now bu tafter Forspoken's dela yand Gotham Knights releasin gslightl ylate rthan I thought as both have Octobe rrelease dates Forspoken releases on the 11th and Gotham Knights is the 25th so it's left me wit ha bi tof a window to fill in terms of what games t oplay. I still want to pla ythe games I did have in mind I'm just in a position now where I don't really have to rush to them due to the delays. I'm mostly just playing i tin the background though or wil be. I 'm jus tfocusing on getting throug hthe prologu eand opening levels a bi tfor now. In fac tjus tprett ymuch completed the prologue now so now I'm in Haven I can respec my character and have the build I want given it always gives me Chain lightning and Flashfire which I don't really find useful. Yeah I may als opla yaql 3 bac kt oback again late rdepending on tim ebut for now I'm jus tplaying thisDAI run with a randomised state

Look for it using the war table. I believe it's available after going to Hinterlands to talk with Mother Giselle.

Photo dump of some of the images I think turned out better: I like to call this one "Happy Dwarf." I call this one "Sad Dwarf." This is "Annoyed Dwarf." This is "Surprised Dwarf." This is "Dwarf Teaching Fiona How To Jerk Off Solas." And this is Solas orgasming afterwards. At least, I assume it is. No actual lewdity in those photos, they are safe for work as long as they are viewed out-of-context. I did actually play a dwarf back before the DLC in an unfinished playthrough, but I was unaware that dwarves win the inquisition primarily with the power of abs. I meant to say, the power of aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaabs.
