Grunt was not one of the ME2 squaddies that was on high rotation for me, but I still appreciated his violent enthusiasm and his relationship with my Shepard. He was the murderous baby boy she never had. "Shepard is my Battlemaster; s/he has no match." Grunt is voiced by Steve Blum, who also played Oghren in Dragon Age: Origins. www.imdb.com/name/nm0089710/?ref_=tt_cl_t6Grunt makes Shepard proud: Grunt gets arrested: By ImperatorAlicia: Shepard, Wrex, Grunt: Drunk Grunt What did you like most about Grunt?

I thought Grunt was pretty straightforward. We saw him with the initial ideas that he would eventually start a clan of his own to pit against a worthy Shepard to looking at Shepard as sort of a parental figure. He may not have been the best fighter in the game but I liked the interactions with him. Also, I loved that he got drunk on the Citadel, wrecked a C-Sec vehicle, and found it to be a joke.
I also like that he represents hope for the krogan, even if they're mostly too stupid to understand it. He's potentially very powerful and the krogan females should want his genes. We haven't seen what he can truly be because he's very young and has little actual experience. Once his power is combined with more experience he'll be unstoppable.

During Priority: Earth Garrus and FemShep can talk about having children after the war. If Shepard suggests adoption Garrus replies: "Hm... I suppose there will be a lot of little krogan around soon." I kind of consider Grunt to be their first child, though Garrus' suggestion of skipping the rite of passage on Tuchanka and buying Grunt a lap dance on Omega instead seems a bit irresponsible. During Grunt's scene versus the rachni in ME3 I cried but I was also proud of how Shepard's tank baby had grown up. Of course I burst out laughing when he appeared in the end. I'm sorry, I cannot find the original image to give the artist proper credit. If anyone knows who the artist is, please let me know.

Ok, that comic was adorable Garrus was my first ME3 romance and one I consider to be my "canon", and I also considered Grunt to be their adopted child.

As fan of the Krogan (Sorry, Mordin, I love you but you're going to die every time.), my love for Grunt is only slightly less than my love of Wrex. My Canon Shep's a guy, and considers Grunt to be the baby brother he never had, and is helping to raise. He feels much the same about Jack, to be honest. As far as i'm concerned, Vanguard Shep, Wrex and Grunt are they key to cleaning up at the Armax Arena, and most of my favourite Citadel DLC moments involve a Krogan or two. Grunt's birthday misadventures are a highlight. "I love you Grunt."
That aside, I agree that Grunt's probably got a bright future ahead of him, he's young and healthy, he's not as dumb as his name suggests (love the way he's trying to read Hemmingway) and he's not really fully matured yet. If Wrex needs a successor on Tuchanka, he could do a lot worse than Grunt. personally i'm Headcanonning him as first Krogan Spectre.
I've also got a soft spot for Oghren, so I love that they seem to share a laugh.

The first time through ME 3, I hit that scene and when the music started I had a pit in my stomach and started bawling. I really liked Grunt ever since his intro in ME 2. I did cheer when Grunt reappeared at the shuttle.

My mother was watching when i last played this mission. She's normally not interested unless I'm making a fool of myself on Little Big Planet, and often falls asleep during firefights, but I think she quite likes Mass Effect. She's a Jack and Mordin fan primarily (a little awkward since i'm basically Liara with a hint of Garrus) , but she's got a soft spot for Grunt. "I though he was a gonna there..." I hear her say as Grunt staggers on screen, covered in blood.
I once tried to explain the ending to her. I'm not sure I ever managed to finish the explaination.

You know that end scene where Grunt and Shepard are standing side by side and Shepard is telling Grunt they love him and Grunt is doing that adorable laugh?
I can't stop seeing his stubby little tail at that moment and expecting it to wag.

I just got to play the ME3 DLCs for the first time ever (and besides Mirandas scenes I've never seen any others). This hilarious dialogue and the flashbacks made me cry of laughter and joy. For me simply one of the best moments of the whole Trillogy Anybody know who wrote this part of the DLC or Character so I can thank them?

Hello, big Krogan fan. I missed my Krogan crewmember in ME3, really disappointed at the time. So annoyed that I resented Vega as he was in their rightful place, send a boy to do a Krogan's job. Two are not enough you need a full quad. Yeah, Wrex has big plans for Grunt, his protege, he's definitely being groomed for greatness and glory.

Actually, I think Javik was in his rightful place. Seriously, though, you're correct. Vega plays the gruff "tank" character that would have been Grunt or Wrex in prior games. I'm glad we got to see Grunt, but it would have been nice to have him as a squadmate. Still I absolutely love everything he does in the Citadel DLC. EVERYTHING!

Grunt= First Krogan Spectre. He seems very bright, considering he's only about two years old and has had to download all his education. Needless to say I dont think Wrex needs to worry about needing a strong sucessor, I think the Krogan are in safe hands for anther couple of Millennia.

What Grunt should've said about how people are soft instead he should've said: "You a bunch of soft-ass motherfuckers."

Krogan son!! I confess, I didn't use Grunt a lot on missions in ME2, but I loved his interactions with Shepard on the Normandy. I loved his scenes in Citadel (even my boyfriend, who is uninterested in pretty much any video game that isn't Football Manager, enjoyed watching the Citadel scenes). I ugly cried when I thought he'd died fighting the Rachni, and I leapt out of my chair cheering and fistpumping when he staggered out of the cave. So, yeah, I'm a fan... I was disappointed that he couldn't join you as a full squadmember in ME3, though. I mean, I was disappointed generally that most of the ME2 squadmates weren't available, and it always felt like some of the reasoning was a bit weak (I mean, OK, in some cases the characters had moved on with their lives into other important roles, but really, Garrus and Tali can join up with Shepard despite their new high ranks amongst the Turians and the Quarians respectively but Miranda, Samara etc. have to go and do their own thing once their missions are over?). I get that they probably didn't want the case where you'd have something like 15 potential squadmates, but Grunt always seemed like a pretty obvious candidate. "Shepard is my battlemaster, she has no equal", and all that.
