Since I'll be rolling a BroRyder, I'm really hoping Sara will still play a large role in the story. I know there are story reasons for why she can't be a part of the squad, but hopefully she still has a major role in the story and is someone we constantly converse with and go back to. IIRC, Fryda Wolff and Tom Taylorson both said the scenes with both twins are some of the 'most emotional in the game.' So, even if your twin appears sparingly, sounds like they'll have a good role. |

And then we get to watch horrible things happen to the unchosen sib. I want to know all the things. Personally, I'd utterly despise that and probably only stomach one playthrough, as I really want the NPC Ryder to actually stick around to interact with the Player Ryder and make it through this game (and any future Andromeda games). |

From what I've heard, it sounds to me like the unchosen sibling gets crippled or something. Apparently there is a reason they don't fight with you.

From what I've heard, it sounds to me like the unchosen sibling gets crippled or something. Apparently there is a reason they don't fight with you.
mayb it could be that or maybe it might have something t odo with Alec as well after the pathfinder position gets passed to you. Like Alec get's seriously hurt or possibly even killed. |

But I have a feeling that in that vid, the devs were taking snippets from Scott's (chosen) and Sara's revival sequence. - "Though you might want to hang around, while we revive your sister." It makes sense to revive your sibling after you, you know, because of the whole "familiar face" thing when you wake up 600+ years in the future in god-knows-where. Maybe they had revived Cora earlier, because she's second-in-command and all. But you do have a point. It may be Cora. Just my two cents' worth.  |

Well, hopefully it's not nearly as morbid. That's rather dark and depressing. I understand the sibling is out of commission for whatever reason, but hopefully it's not too horrific. They are still supposed to play a vital role in the story. |

The anticipation though. Eek. Well, that's the thing. The other sibling can't be a squadmate, but that doesn't mean they won't be in the game a lot. We already know that the Ryder family will be one of the major subplots of the game. I assume the other sibling, as well as Alec, will play a major role throughout the main story from beginning to end. If anything, I'd guess the other sibling might be incapacitated early on in the game for a certain amount of time. After a certain point they'll be healthy enough where you'll be able to communicate with them on a regular basis. |
