Sara Ryder 'SisRyder' (Official Thread)

I'm playing as default Sara and am very happy with both the visual and voice acting experience.

Can you say which one? I'll probably go with preset 9 because I like it the most for tweaking but I'd like to know my options. 

She seems like she's the dorky character instead of it being one of the crew mates. Goes against expectations.
Looking forward to that first playthrough as her.

It doesn't matter what your characters look like at all. I went with default Scott as the sibling and this PC:

That's not modified, it's the default Sara..... HOW? Well either they are playing an earlier built. OR, they are playing a newer build no one else got. 

*shrug* I want to hope that this is why the trailer hasn't been appearing because Bioware is scrambling to edit Sara's face. But... :/ We'll find out I guess.

The trailer will most likely be released tomorrow along with the reviews.

Its a launch trailer. Those trailers are generally released right before a game launch.

It looks like they choose to create two seperate launch trailers for the twins. They decided to release Scott's trailer first and then right before the launch of the game, Sara's trailer.

Releasing both launch trailers on the same day would be silly, especially since Scott's trailer was still quite far from launch.

If those people decide to go on a media blackout out of fear of beign spoiled then that's on them. Releasing a launch trailer right before launch is standard marketing tactic.

I'm so disappointed that we have to wait so long for proper Sara trailer and I think they didn't even plan it in the first place - it was the backlash that forced them to acknowledge our awareness of the disparity between twins in trailers.

I'm even more annoyed by the fact that it was such a great opportunity - after 8th March, ffs - to give us Sara as the trailer's protagonist, particularly considering all the protests that are now going on in my home country regarding women's rights.

And even now, when I see the ads for the game online, they are always with Scott. And you know what? I can't stand the guy now. Sorry, Scott, not your fault, I know. 
 

Had the same thing with mShep, his drone-like voice was simply too annoying to my ears. It was better with mInky in DAI - I actually played one in order to romance Cassandra. 
It was pretty much ok, although I kept thinking how awesome it would if Cass had been also written for the female character. 

And speaking of DAI, I cannot fathom why MAI devs would ignore the example of the DAI team, which introduced the female Inky as the default protagonist for Descent and Trespassers' trailers. But then again, they also ignored DAI's CC, which baffles me even further.

Did they get so scared of the community's response after the criticism of Sara's appearance? Or was it simply a pure PR move on their part?
Either way, I expected more from Bioware.
