Spoilers for Dark Souls. This is not a favorite of mine. But it is always an emotional moment for me due to how much this fight pisses me off. My actual favorite moment in the game. Everyone hates the Bed of Chaos, its a very...cheap boss.

Not a lot for me. Mordin is one. The other is Trico and his guardian. I didn't cry for Mordin, I just felt very sad. But Trico and the boy? You can't not cry at the end. The devs did a great job with Trico; he's everything a much loved pet / companion is. There would be times of frustration, times where you want to cuddle him, times you want to make sure he's safe. Trico reciprocates in kind and fierce in protecting the boy. After finally playing the game I couldn't agree more! What a beautiful game with such a unique friendship. Definitely going to play it again in the future. While I'm at it I'd also like to mention the Final Fantasy XV campfire scene during the credits. Ripped my heart out

Hmmm I'm a bit divided on that matter. The contenders are:
Ending of "To The Moon " the final scene of "The Walikig dead"
No sure to be honest witch of thous two moved me more.
Also one worth mentioning is the moment you walk into "Kiln of the first Flame" in Dark Souls 1. All the pain you had to endure to get there created this strange hard to describe feeling.

Miscellaneous moments in TW3. The only time I ever managed to feel something from a video game. Oh and special mention to episode 3 of TT's Batman. When I decided Bruce would bone Selina Kyle and Harvey Dent walked in. I laughed my arse off. I also laughed at the moral hypocrisy of other players. I was in the minority when it came to choices of inflicting pain on others, but I was in the majority when I banged Selina and thus, completely knifed my best friend.[/Spoiler}

For all my criticism, ME3 had these:
1. Meeting David Archer again at the Ascension Project after you sent him there in ME2 Overlord. 2. The goodbye scene in ME3 Citadel. 3. Meeting Miranda on Sanctuary after a whole mission not knowing if she survived (first playthrough only, of course).
In general, the ME trilogy had many moments of (intended) high emotion, but since they all too often didn't make any sense, were insufficiently grounded in the story that surrounded them or didn't make any sense for the kind of character I played, I do not rate the ME games as very good at this overall.
TW3:
1. Presenting Ciri with her silver sword, and telling her its name, in the ending where she becomes a witcher. 2. Geralt and Yennefer sitting at the railing of the crashed skyship after dealing with the djinn, in the version where you tell her things didn't change for you.
In general, the level of emotion in TW3 was lower than in the ME trilogy, but since the emotions expressed always made sense, and more-defined Geralt had fewer canonical traits I disliked than less-defined Shepard, I ended up much more connected to the world and the people inhabiting it and in the end, TW3 was a better emotional experience overall than ME2/ME3.
XCOM: Enemy Unknown:
1. Thanks to the fantastic music and the intensity of the moment, the start-up of the first Firestorm interceptor still sends a shiver down my spine, along with Shen's comment: "I think we've just leveled the playing field".
Realms of the Haunting
1. The "good" ending. Definitely not a happy one, but I guess it could've been worse. It took my completely by surprise.
Meanwhile, Life is Strange, while a good story for the first three episodes, didn't do anything for me in the end because (1) I think the intended message is nonsense, (2) because there are few things I like less in stories than important characters ending up not being able to act (unless they're the villains, of course), and (3) because I very much dislike it if the protagonists end up losing all their cool magical extras.

Much kudos to the game for pulling that off, probably one of my favourite quests in the game. In hindsight, I find it difficult to believe Geralt would take that option. Surely he would know that Cerys has found a way to trick the Hym, thus Geralt would have no guilt and Udalryk would still be haunted by the Hym. But it's a game, so toss the baby in the oven.

Much kudos to the game for pulling that off, probably one of my favourite quests in the game. I just played through this quest 2 days ago and to be honest, this one didn't work for me at all, at least not as an emotional moment. I mean, Ceris and Geralt outright talk about the whole tricking thing before and she is standing on the other side of the wall before the scene starts. IMO, it couldn't have been clearer that this was just a ruse. Guess that means that the whole trick shouldn't have worked in the first place anyway because the tricked shouldn't have know that he was tricked, haha. But seriously, for me, this was not an emotional moment at all, more of a "yea, that was obvious" moment.
That said, I do agree that putting a baby in an oven is a somewhat disturbing action, even if you know exactly that nothing bad is going to happen.

Well let's see Escaping the vault after killing Elijah in fallout new vegas (dead money) was probably the most intense thing because I was dumb I don't know what I was thinking. I was kinda just standing there for a few seconds killing him like "what now, game, I did it." Instead of doing the sensible thing, y'know escaping before your collar explodes, but no, I had to let the game tell me that. I was tense because I was like "god I don't want this to be anticlimactic" I didn't want to restart that escape scene but I made it out literally right before my collar exploded. It was very intense and also very satisfying. I also had one recently (well, about 2 months ago recently) So, i'm near the very end of jade empire (or at least I thought I was) and then Jade empire spoilers: Li betrays me and kills my character I really wasn't expecting that. It caught me so off guard and I actually felt hurt that they who shall not be named again betrayed my character. That plot twist really got me and I was so invested that I actually shed a pathetic amount of tears. Good job Bioware, but at the same time, how dare you.Speaking of sad I know season one of the walking dead has already been brought up a lot but that one got me too More specifically When lee got bit at the end of the 4th episode.

I'm trying to think of a emotional game moment. And...I'm coming up blank. There are points in a game, when I laughed and/or got angry. But actually sad...I can't think of any.
I do have some examples for novels. Just not games.
