DAO. Killing the archdemon after being royally dumped and did not take the DR made for a very dead Warden and almost put Xetykins on anti depressants.
MET. Tali's death and loosing Legion at the same time, topped by Mordin getting blown up while singing was really fckin hard. There...were tears...a lot of it.
TW3. The whole sequence of Papa Vesimer's demise had me put down my mouse and not picking it up again til 3 cups of coffee and a lot of tears later. The final botchling sequence was very emotional too.
WoW. I don't know if this count but playing it again after 6 years....man... hearing that beautiful and haunting elvish strings again in Teldrassil brought so much beautiful memories, I was a little teary.

I'm playing through FF VII for the first time right now (yes, literally), and the part where Barret's old friend goes berserk and you confront him got to me. "These hands are too stained to ever hold her again." fug ;_; I am using a fan made mod compilation with translations to everything from scratch to bring it closer to the original Japanese, so that exact line may or may not be in the official translation, I dunno.

The scene in Spec Ops the Line. The one right after using the mortar. It really was: "No...no way" *actually puts up emotional shields* "omg". Its the only game, that hit me that hard. And It hit me, hard. I've had others too. That reveal in KotOR shocked me, but it wasn't that emotional. I really enjoy the final scene from freelancer, it made me chuckle. But no other game has hit me that hard, as Spec Ops the Line. Edit: I actually forgot I posted in this thread before. I can't say I cried, or felt overly depressed from that scene. But I put down the game right after that scene, for a week. Just to process what I had just witnessed, and done in the game. I picked it back up, and played about 2/3 of the rest of the game. But I didn't finish it. Mostly because of that scene, but partly because of frustrations from dying over and over in specific fights. I will say, I let that one guy burn alive. I don't even remember what he did to me in the game. But after going through the rest of the game, and being actually emotionally affected the way I was, I felt that guy didn't deserve a quick death. I quit the game, shortly after that. Suffice it to say, I don't think about Spec Ops that much. But when I do, I will say its an awesome game. Not because of the game play, or the mechanics. But because its the only game, to date, that has ever emotionally affected me to that extent. And for that alone, I will always recommend it to everyone I ever talk to about it. ME3 could learn a lot from that game.

In life is strange, Finding Rachel Amber . Nothing will ever come close again I don't think. The build-up to it, the reveal, the voice acting and the music just make it hurt so much. You suspect but you don't know - there was always a glimmer of hope.

All I can think of now is this scene from Dark Souls II:It was very emotional (as well as the previous two days).

Ending to Telltale Walking Dead Season 1 and MGS3 ending and boss fight are good ones but they have already been mentioned so I will go with the Bloody Barron questline specifically the Botchling part.
Feel a little uncomfortable with how the game manages to get me to sympathize with a wife beater but I suppose it is a testament to how well written the game is and how well realized the characters are, you can at least understand why he does what he does and what causes him to act this way even if you can't condone it.
I also love how the game manages to truly capture the creepiness of old mythologies and fairytales, creating a creature that both horrifies and evokes pity at the same time, also telling a story that taps into uncomfortable truths about human nature and emotion.

One thing I should say about the Metal Gear series is while they can be sappy and a little cringy at times there are also some really good moments in them that really let you feel the weight of your actions, from MGS3 forcing you to pull the trigger on the Boss instead of having Snake just do it in a cutscene (gotta admit I did have to pause for a moment there looking for another way to progress) or having you execute the very men you worked so hard to recruit and abduct during missions, rubbing further salt in the wound with the dreaded "staff member has died" popup as you cap each soldier in the head.
