I liked the finale. The writers managed to accurately portray Lucas' interpretation of Anakin's/Vader's inner struggle, and the latter's animosity towards Obi Wan. Obi Wan's defeat of Vader was a forgone conclusion, but it has justified his 'learner and master' quote in ANH, and Jinn's/Neeson's cameo is a nice callback to RoTS' epilogue, and Kenobi's future training. Like i stated about EP5. It's a shame episodes 1, 2 and 4 didn't receive the same level of attention that episodes 5, and 6 received, and i hope the showrunners maintain this level of quality or exceed it for S2. I’m wondering if this is partly a consequence of this originally being developed as a movie. They definitely felt as if they were struggling to stretch out this plot at times.

It seemed like they spent a good amount of time writing the confrontations between Anakin, and Kenobi beforehand then tacked on everything else at the last minute in order to meet production deadlines.

Just finished Kenobi.
Like others here, I liked E6 a lot. And also like others, I think it’s a shame that level of quality wasn’t seen throughout.
The duel between Obi Wan and Vader was well done, and Reva realising you don’t defeat the thing you hate by becoming it is a nice touch.
Not particularly interested in a S2, but I’m likely to check it out if there is one. For better or worse, these D+ series are short enough that the time commitment isn’t too onerous.

The wacky music will be the Benny Hill theme as Vader chases Kenobi, but I'm glad they didn't prolong the confrontation until season 2. Like DragonKingReborn said, a season 2 is not necessary but we all know Disney will milk this for all it's worth.

As well as giving Reva her very own show, which I'm surprised that the Mouse hasn't done for Rey yet.

If they do a Season 2, I would love if they did a live action version of this scene:
After all they need other antagonists since Vader has been told to move on.

Well, if they do a season 2 I think they need to drop Vader entirely, that confrontation has run its course before their final encounter in the original film.
My pitch would funnily enough be the same as my original pitch for the show: Obi-wan helping to recruit mercenaries and soldiers to combat a threat to the moisture farmers (in the style of the Magnificent Seven). That threat (being either Tuskens or bandits of some kind) being led by a fallen Jedi that was lost to despair after Order 66. They can then be a foil for Obi-Wan who has a renewed sense of purpose as he’s training with Qui-Gon. It would also be nice to see him bond with Luke a bit now that he had an adventure with Leia (purely as “the strange old hermit Ben Kenobi”). It would also give Owen a chance to shine, I want more of him now that I got to see him defending Luke in the finale.
Edit: Maybe one of the mercs could be an old and retired Cody?

In fairness, I think Luke ran before he could see Reva with it and Reva turned it off while chasing. Then he was knocked out by falling off some rocks before she turned it on again.

Absolutely you can say this. The force sure as hell isn't female. It binds us all ffs. The simple line crossed was parts of the fandom absolutely being racists. If anyone here had criticized her as a talentless hack, like I have a particular video game "writer" numerous times, I wouldn't have said a single thing because lol fuck this show no I haven't watched it. However, some people raced to some sort of defense.... I hadn't called anyone out. So, my questions have been well-answered by how my statement turned into a tribunal. Very enlightening. You are Concern Trolling and got called out for it. Interesting. This is a new phrase for me, thank you for making memes instead of actually facing the music. Joined BSN when BioWare ran it bub. We know each other, and I know how farcical your response is. Then why did anyone argue that point specifically? Specifically you and Iakus? It is because you were acting tribally, and I had somehow offended you by making an unobjectionable statement about racism and it simply not belonging in Star Wars. This is what you are actually arguing with me about, and I still can't believe it. The rest of your post is absolute drivel, and I don't have the time or energy to ever engage with this sort of weak argumentation. Your bandwagon attempt is a joke. Regardless of what my name is, I know the two of you as well as any member of these forums. You have contradicted yourself plainly, and I could make a fair list of common fallacies from your responses to me in this thread. May The Force Be With You. If it ain't, good luck out there.

Figure this might be relevant to your collective discussion of the Obi-Wan VS Vader episodes:
Ignore the fact thats its an IGN video, they're just repackaging Matt Eastons content under their brand.
If you've not heard of him, he's to melee weapons, HEMA and history what Ian McCollum and Jonathan Ferguson are to firearms, shooting and history.

You are Concern Trolling and got called out for it. Interesting. This is a new phrase for me, thank you for making memes instead of actually facing the music. You being a Concern Troll isn't a meme. You're MIA for the majority of the thread like the discussion about the death, and rape threats Carano suffered, but all of a sudden come in here posting about Moses' harassment incident, then you tried to call me out for bringing up Disney's blatant hypocrisy in regards to harassment and racism. and failed at it. My response isn't farcical due to it being corroborated by my posting history regarding my stance on harassment from members of the fandumb and beyond which goes back all the way to the Hepler incident. Nice try. Bringing up Disney's reps selective stance against online harassment and racism isn't engaging in tribalism or defending it, it's pointing out their hypocrisy which is relevant to Moses' harassment incident. Disney failed to speak out on Carano's harassment or apologize for Boyega's portrait being shrunk to appeal to Chinese audience's but only does so now when it's convenient, and people are expected to clap for them.

You're going to show me where I've said anything bad about her. Or any other actor. In fact, I've stated several times that the talents of actors like John Boyega were wasted on the drivel that is Disney Wars. Hell, I even cut Jake Lloyd some slack due to his age at the time. You can't put a decade's worth of acting experience in a nine year old!

I enjoyed Kenobi. Some episodes were better than others but I enjoyed it and that last exchange between Obi-Wan and Anakin/Vader made it totally worth it.
