Reyes Vidal - No longer A Mystery (Official Thread)

If his breakup is universal after I hope there's a chance he can come back in another game. It might even be cool if we do continue as Ryder in future games and you can get back together with him later. Maybe it'll be an extended version of like Fenris's relationship, where he backs of the romance for a while. We just have.. a pretty long wait this time, unfortunately. lol

I suppose I shouldn't be too upset until I get the full context of this information. Unfortunately, I will be playing this about a week after most of you... Tell the mystery man I said "hi." lol 



I don't want to get too postive about it, but I'll be ready for anything when my Ryder visits Kadara. 

I'm sorry you're let down guys...but let's be honest here. No one ever said Reyes was an option. People just kinda decided he was based on leaks. So let this be a lesson in assuming.

That is craptastic news indeed.

I'm lucky that I find Brodie incredibly alluring and that I have him to catch me during this period of intense info dumping. But I really do feel sad for those who were holding out for Reyes. Maybe "flings" in ME:A are actually quite significant and impactful in ways we don't yet know? I for one was planning on romancing Reyes on an alt version of BroRyder... probably still will for the fling. Don't care much for Jaal, and I'm not really in the mood to dig further into this new "Nexus guy" ... BioWare has worn me out (which is hard to do).

People in the datamining thread have apparently missed this! Maybe you could post that information there?

I am still excited about Reyes.

Waiting for that passionate one night on Kadara.

I'm getting a feeling he is one of the 'light' romances that Bioware talked about there being. Not a fling because they have a bunch of content, but not a 'main' romance because they don't count towards the achievement. If so I hope this applies to Lexi too.

Not surprised he's bisexual. Bioware loves their flirty bisexual trope. He sounds like Puss in Boots.

It's highly unlikely that he's a full romance given the missing romance flag, but it sounds like he's got a pretty substantial story arc, which is cool.

I just wish we could see what he looks like already!

I'm going to hold out on this "just a fling" thing until we get the guide.

Aaaaaaaaaaaand I'm in love with his voice *sigh* ...
