I heard it has no influence if she dies or not in Dragon Age Origins, is this true?

After my last failed attempt of playing Inquisition, I started over with Dragon Age Origins and enjoy it very much.

She starting to sing in the camp after the Dalish quest had something (I even recorded it).

Who would kill someone with such a deep believe in the maker as her savior and devotion to Andraste.

I started my trilogy run few days ago. I'm still playing the Origins, saved Redcliffe, did some sidequests, started to search for the Urn... and started Leliana romance. I hardened her (though not to get threesome... really, I'm not lying!). I have to say, I prefer the way Bioware handled romance in the past. In sequels, the only thing you have to do is to push heart button three or four times and then you get quest and romance scene. Here, I didn't even planned to romance Leliana, but it turned out it suites my Warden better than Morrigan or Zevran (or being single). Just few conversations and things went that way.

Well. I just have to prepare for that awkward moment when you find out that Leliana knew how to contact HoF and she didn't tell Cassandra. Poor woman, what a terrible people she has to work with.

I remember that when i was playing Origins her voice seemed pretty normal through my monitor's speakers.
Only when i heard her through a different source,did i notice that she had a cute lisp to her voice

Even though killing Marjolaine was the right thing to do imho,i could not allow myself to harden her!
It saddens me a bit to see her so distant in Inquisition...
