We should turn this into a game. Who of the following three would you protect, leave behind in the Fade and fuck? If you start the topic I would be the first one to play it I concur. Morrigan , you should create this thread.

On the way to denerim we were ambushed, yet walked away recruiting my favorite elven assassin. His party banter is the best.
Arrived in denerim and did the odd job here and there. Helped the guards, stole from nobles and dealt with some blood mages. Also ran into my old pall Gorim. Had a nice chat about the ladies in our lives and then made him buy all my junk lol.
Decided to make Orzimar my next stop, but on the way got ambushed by assassin's again...this time they were after Leliana. Will be heading back to denerim after to take care of her old friend.

So the Warden-Commander gets to her new Warden Keep to find it assaulted by darkspawns...that talks!!! After some clean up (adding Ogrhen and an apostate called Anders to the Warden ranks) lots of errand popped, some politics and finding out that late Arl Howe had a son who's real pissed his father is dead. I forced him to become a Grey Warden, he actually seems to like it.
I went around some old dwarven thaig and got a ex-Legion of the Dead member called Sigrun. She's super perky about killing darkspawns and dying while doing so. I also meet an angry Dalish mage called Velanna. She's somewhat angry, very angry. Her sister was kidnapped by a weird darkspawn emissary who is conducting experiments. Oh and I lost all my stuff (a bug, I'll live with it).
Now I'm trap in the Fade in the Blackmarch. meh.
--- Awakening is a lot creepier than I remember it to be. I'm also wondering if the First didn't use a foci to send us into the Fade, he talks as if the Mother gave him something to send us there and he seems like he was holding something (it was all green-Fade, but still).

I just saw, that Kipper has deleted his/her account too. Sad to see another very active member go. Come back Kipper, we didn't mean it. For that matter, good to see you're still around! As to Kipper, I'm not sure why he/she would delete. From the most recent posts, it didn't seem like Kipper was in a nasty flame war with anyone.

Awakening is quite bugged, I had a dead armored ogre that kept hitting the air as if it was holding something and Alistair died in DAO but the ending slice act as if it wasn't the case lol.
Yeah, The Mother is dead, the Architect (of Beauty) lives. Sigrun didn't like my choice *sniff*. I can't wait in future games when we are going to see the 5 other Magister Sideral (or maybe 3, DAO starting fresco only has 5 magisters, not all 7, yet the game talks about 7, then it might also be two considering one was apparently eaten by another). The expac is interesting to play after DAI though, I think a few of DAI ideas were tried in it first.
Now I just have to hunt down a witch and next I move to DA2.

I had busy weekend when it comes to fandom stuff. Not long ago I returned from last day of Pyrkon. Boy, I had a lot of fun. Got to see some amazing cosplayers, including some BioWare ones. A Few Sheps, Ryders. Saw mage f!Lavellan on first day, but she disappeared in a crowd before I realised it. I was pretty salty till the next day. Then I got to meet this couple That dork in a middle is me if it's not obvious :ulikeit: Of course I had to widen my merchandise collection. This one wins everything :lmfao: I generally don't wear white clothes, but had to make exception for this one!

Ventured around the Western Approach and stumbled upon the Still Ruins. Got some phat l007 and a neat staff that made time return to normal again. Fought off some demons without breaking a sweat.

Alim Surana met the inscrutable Morrigan in the Wilds. After they both agreed she was a Witch of the Wilds, he was safely returned back to Ostagar.

Played a female Cousland (with mods)
- I skipped past ostagar (as I'm a lazy person) - I'm thinking about getting Shale as my first mission as I already obtained the rod from the merchant - Is thinking about redoing her amazing canon and thinks it's hard work to fight the High Dragon - Is currently Alistair-romancing once again
That's basically what I did... is attempt (kind of pathetically) to redo my canon (for the third time...)

It was before I played DA, so I wasn't sure, who or what the cosplayer was, but it looked amazing

It sounds a bit like the soundtrack of Pirates of the Caribbean (which I really love), but since I mostly play cheeky rogues anyway, it would fit most of ma DA protagonists. It has a uplifting spirit / tone to it which I think DA need as a change of flavour; instead of moody and serious all the time. Everything in front of the final installment can be as moody whatever but the end should be uplifting. I'm visualizing something like this playing at end credits, encapsulating the deeds of every char that had gone on before and at the last, we would see all the chars of DA. If it is a good ending, those who survived would kind of see a new horizon before them. And we get to say goodbye to all of them, feeling good that we have journeyed with them Am I overly sentimental? Maybe I want a good finish to a saga. Bioware need to do one and DA is it. Like B5's Sleeping in Light where the conclusion was tied off neatly; the viewers know roughly what happened with the beloved chars in the years after. For five years, fans watched them developed. They came so far in their journey, changed, evolved. It was fitting viewers got to bid them all a fond and teary (yep, I cried) farewell.

Wrapped up Orzammar. Gave the throne to Bhelen. Despite his methods to getting there, he was still family so my warden supported him. He also seems to have more fresh ideas for the places future. Also destroyed the anvil, they don't need anymore temptation to throw them off course. Some battle shots with a certain ugly lady that was hanging out in the deep roads After that helped Leliana sqaure away her past in the only proper way. Went back to camp and told her she is still a good person and to not give up her faith. That lady was just crazy and had to go lol Next up looking into Shale's past in the deeproads, then off to find the dalish

I always get stuck at the part where you meet that blood mage you can spare in Broken Tower. It's just so hard to decide. She does have a point when she says "Andraste waged war on the Imperium. She didn't write them a strongly worded letter".
At the same time, there is a difference between slaying your enemies and slaying your friends as it was done to their fellow mages.
One might argue they didn't know it would lead to that, but one doesn't simply use blood magic and expect that shit not to happen. But again... it's also true that fighting your way out of the tower would lead to the death of good people one way or another, so it might be a necessary evil.
Ughhhh, my head!

Later, if they received their freedom, provided by law, like everyone else, they must respect the law, like everyone else. Of course, never caused me* a moral dilemma to leave her alive. The slaves do not have a moral duty to comply with the law, because they are not protected by the law. And a foolish thing the expectation of loyalty from them. ____ *Ofc, this about me, as player. A character, even a mage, faithful Andrastian, for example, easily can decide to kill her.

Isn't it also foolish to spare a blood mage when you're currently trying to end the chaos caused by blood mages?

Will be spoilers for DA:I tresspasser:
I finally decided to play the inquisition dlc the last 2 days. Jaws and the descent were meh and pretty much just fighting for a combined 10ish hours. Tresspasser however gave me emotion and chills, I honestly think DA4 has to break the trend of a DA game never reusing a protagonist, the inquisition has unfinished business with Solas and the world needs saving again! Plus it's an understatement when I said that DLC have me emotion. 1.got married 2. My inquisition is being threatened and called out for curription (and my original move was to shut down the inquisition till the fereldan leader pissed me off, plus Solas threatening the world is another reason to keep it running) 3. Inquisitor is in the process of dieing with her hand acting up 4.qunari war is on the verge of occurring 5. The inquisition is infiltrated and the rumors of corruption spread (which is unfortunate, plus my inquisitor brings up that very fact after a heated argument with war council saying being corrupt and such was the very last thing she wants the inquisition known for) 6. IB betrays you (I was shocked yet pissed) 7. You learn of solas's original plans, and his plan to revive the ancient elves.......at the expense current world of Thedas. My inquisitor attempted to talk him out but halfway in I went aggressive(at first I started out with the emotional responses as I was shocked) and yelled at him for thinking killing a world is in any way good, even to revive his old people and that I would fight him to stop that from occurring. So he does his chit chat, says I helped prove him wrong on a few things, takes my hand off and then my inquisitor tells the exalted council the inquisition is staying but will drop in size to a peace keeping force as well as the divines personal body guards.
I really liked the tresspasser DLC, probably the only one that was actually worth it if you ask me. Plus, as I said, that DLC sets up DA4 in a good way. Unfortunately my inquisitor has no hand, but I'm sure there's a way people go about that in the DA universe that could fix that and let us use the inquisitor in the next game. The ties are just to strong imo to just move into the next protagonist, Solas is now the inquisitors next story and another reason to keep the inquisition around.
So yea, that's what I've been doing on DA the last few days and I'm still thinking about it right now. No idea why I never played the DLC when it came out, I've had them since they launched but was to busy playing other games that eventually got piled under more new games.

What I'm doing in DA since I finished DAO? I'm trying to make a DA2 character...
I'm deadlocked because I want to play a Warrior (never finished the game with one, it's my least favorite class), but I also want to do a playthrough with Carver, but I can't because that's limited to Mage class. Arghhhhhhh
But I think Warrior is better if I want to do a "everything goes wrong" playthrough (aka lots of dead people).

It's a pity that with better graphic engines, the hurlocks and all the other darkspawn have become so lame in DA2 and Inquisition...

Supporting the Templars as a none-mage and killing Circle Bethany though... Also, I was actually thinking of having the sibling die in the Deep Road so Leandra can go all "my poor babies, it's all your fault".

Sophie's choice(But mage also good for it. A Mage Hawke can support the Templars for Carver at the finish, this is a very dark end...) Supporting the Templars as a mage isn't that dark. Supporting the Templars as a none-mage and killing Circle Bethany though...Also, I was actually thinking of having the sibling die in the Deep Road so Leandra can go all "my poor babies, it's all your fault". Supporting Meredith's templars IS dark always, especially as mage, but killing Bethany's is madness. I did this end in my first game... Anders said, he does not like Deep Roads, and Carver wanted to join.
