It's hard to start.
Three weeks, but nightmares do not disappear. Drunken visions, whispering in silence. Mom's dead eyes. Fenris's cold, lifeless hand wakes me up, I open my eyes and look at him... Anders smiling at me: "Do you know, what the strongest force in the universe is? Love", his mouth's sewn. Quentin whispers, "I love you. You always made me so proud."  Mother stands beside him, in white dimness. Her hand on his shoulder. Smiles.

Time to sober up!

Before that the Carta dwarves broke into the castle, we went to the DuPuis house. The house was full of shades, and we found some evidence (Aveline, your guards...!), and Meredith's apologetic letter. Pathetic.
We also found Du'Puis, with a woman. He said, he supposed this woman in trouble, he needs her blood for track her, if she's in danger. It's suspicious, but I know the spell, so probably he does not lie, nevertheless, I'm sure, he knows more. He said, he will help me in the investigation, I can find him in the Lowtown. I feel, it worth a try.
Back to Emeric. But Emeric was not at Gallows, disappeared. Poor man, his possible death probably enough proof to the Templars, that his theory's not a delusion. Anyway, I did not say anything about my discovery. Better to continue the investigation without these idiots.

So for a while, I did not have time to deal with this issue and seems nobody cares about it.

A few weeks later Gamlen visited me. He was nervous. He said Mother did not visit him at the usual time. He was worried about it. I didn't wonder so much, Gamlen's a grumpy bastard, but somehow Mother insists him. Bodahn suggested, she probably meets with her suitor, who sent these white lilies.
What?! Emeric spoke about white lilies...

Go, to DuPuis, until it not too late! Let's show me, what you know!

Gascard duPuis helped, as he promised, I hope, isn't too late!

I feel more and more, it's too late. That smell!
Finally we found the murderer. Totally mad. Said, Mother was waiting for me... And Gascard, that bastard, knows him. He was his mentor. Quentin –as he called the madman–, offered to DuPuis, he can be his apprentice again.
Turn against me, little shit, and I'll kill you! Gascard stayed with me. Good boy! We'll return to this topic later, just get my mother back!

“Do you know, what the strongest force in the universe is? Love.” The madman says. With crazy adoration in his eyes turned to a lifeless body, and gently touched its face.
The corpse stood up and walked slowly toward us. It was wearing a wedding dress.
Mother?!

I killed the monster.
I went to my mother and hugged her cold body.
"I can't do anything for her. His magic kept her alive." Anders said.
"I love you. You always made me so proud.", I heard. Mother dead eyes looked at me. She smiled when finally found her peace in the death.

At home, Gamlen was already waiting for me.
I told him what had happened. He blamed me, and the magic.

Anders was with me and didn't blame me for anything. He remained to me. He's my family.

Since then I have not seen Gascard duPuis. I don't give a shit. His death wouldn't bring my Mother back.

The nightmares will disappear over time, I know... I hope.

Demands of the Qun
I got a message from the Viscount. His son disappeared again, he fears, he in trouble, and he suspects, the Arishok wants to use Seamus against him. Okay, let's go to Arishok, straight after I visited Aveline. Perhaps she would a useful companion when I speak with Arishok, and... she didn't deserve my sarcasm before, let's try to placate her! I don't have too many friends here.
I did come to the conclusion that I'm not good at that. I just quarrelled with her again. She said, maybe the Templars' preventive methods are good: imprison the suspected criminals before they can commit crimes, perhaps not that bad... Aveline, maybe not you are the best guard captain ever, just think about it...

So, I rather took Anders, Fenris, and Isabela... but Isabela at the last minute said, she has some... problem. Fortunately, Varric was at the docks, so he joined us.

The Arishok denied, that Seamus would be been a captive. He joined to the qun freely, and now he went to meet with his father to the Chantry. Anders doubted, that the Viscount want to involve the Chantry.
But we know someone, who would be able to do this... Go!

The Chantry was quiet and empty. It never was really loud and lively place, but this silence was strange. Above, behind the railing, we found Seamus. He knelt like he would pray. He was dead.

Petrice came, with her fucking Templars and some civilians. They attacked us. You will pay for that, Petrice, the time came.

While we killed Petrice's mob, she warned the Grand Cleric. Clever girl, her plan almost worked. Almost. Elthina perhaps not that dumb, as she assumed. And undoubtedly has some-kind dry humour, I would appreciate it if she had cared more about the people, than the eternity, and would not believe, that here among the mortals, she should count the Maker's time instead of the man's time... anyway, she was late with the punishment. A qunari archer came in and executed Petrice.

Viscount arrived. He was broken when he saw his son.

A few days later I found Aveline and Isabella in my house when I got home. They quarrelled. Seems almost fun, but I was tired and impatient.
Shut up... please! Now one by one! Aveline has a problem with Arishok, and Isabela will die, because of this fucking artifact. I already said, she shouldn't let that bastard to blackmail her. Looks like she's not listening to me... Isabela said, the artifact related to the qunari. Okay, go for it then!

This artifact was the Qunari sacred scripture. And Isabela ran away with it. Fuck.

So: go to the Arishok. Aveline already waits for me there. She wants back two elves, who killed a guard, and the qun gave them shelter. The Arishock called the elves. They said, that the guard raped their sister. They reported, but the guards didn't do anything. So, they made justice.
"This is true, Aveline?"
"There were rumours... I will investigate... but this not justified..."
"This IS justified, Aveline, you know me, I would have done the same thing."
But just after that, I castrated him with a rusty knife... You and your law and order! I know, this doesn't help, but I don't want to help in it.
Koslun was a bigger problem. Fuck, Isabela! I would have helped you to kill that bastard... but this mess! The Arishok wanted a war...

...and already started it. Somehow we got out the of docks. On the way, Fenris and Anders ran to us. "You’re safe! Thanks to Maker! I thought they got you!" Anders hugged me hard. How I love you!

The city on flames. Corpses and qunari everywhere. In the Lowtown some Grey Wardens fought against a bunch of qunari. We helped them. But... Carver? And Stroud. We could have used some swords, but they had to go. Anyway, was good to see you again, brother.

The situation in the Hightown was not even better. We killed many qunari, but I didn't saw that Saarebas. I fell to the ground, my head was dizzy. The Saarebas came closer, and started to casting. I had no chance.

A high ranked Templar saved my life, a woman. Knight Commander Meredith. Impressive! I am glad that there is no time to be grateful!

We found First Enchanter Orsino. He lay on the ground, dead mages around him. We must go to the Tower and stop the qunari! I will lead. I did not even mention: the Knight Commander let me use my magic to defend the city. What an honor!

Many qunari rallied at the gate. Meredith said, we need to attack, but Orsino suggested distraction. I'm with him. Meredith doesn't believe, this works. "Have confidence, Knight Commander!" Orsino said, and attacked the qunari guards. Worked.

The Viscount's head rolled to our feet when we entered. The Arishok spotted us. I did not really hope, but it looks like he is willing to talk. Let's try! He needs that fucking book... Fuck, Isabela!
But we must end this madness. And there's only one way this ends!
Fenris spoke. (Sexy when he speaks qunlat.) He convinced the Arishok, I deserve a duel with him. Let's do this!

Fucking strong bastard! And fast. But still mortal.
I looked around. People celebrating. Meredith and Orsino arrived. „Is it over?”
„It's over.” Meredith was not happy. "The city has a new Champion", she said. That face! I really liked it.
I looked at Anders. He looked at me. I won, love. For you.
And now, I need to drink. Lot. Do not look like that, love, after that, you can deal with my broken body. I'm not a good healer. Let's go!

Okay, I started Mark of the Assassin with Ralph and this feeling:

We're back from Orlais. Anders doesn't stop to try to convince my dog, not with much success!

But he's mostly nervous: still doesn't believe we're safe, so I gave him the key to the old secret passage to his clinic. Calm down, love! No one dares to threaten the Champion of Kirkwall! I try to help him, but I see, he's more and more depressed, and he has a reasons. The Knight Commander crushed the Mage Underground. Seems, what for he worked's gone. Sometimes I feel helplessness and it makes me angry.

Three years passed since the qunari war. Kirkwall quietly regenerated. But the city still doesn't have Viscount, Meredith and her Templars rule over the city. Orsino tried to gather sympathizers, I suppose he succeeds. The nobles are divided, but many of them would support a change. But the Grand Cleric don't care. „If the Maker wants...”
(Oh, yes "Your Grace", how do you said before? "...the Maker's time isn't men's time, we do not need to rush ...but you not trouble yourself, I will step in when if time..." And when the fucking time coming, "Your Grace", when you're already willing to lift your holy ass and to create order on your garbage-dump? Hold back your dogs, "Your Grace", or I will! Pathetic!)
But seems I have supporters: some nobles offered their help against Meredith.

More bad news. Sandal and Bodahn will leave: they go to Orlais. Where will I find such a good staff and friends? Bodahn worries about Sandal's future. I offered my help, but Bodahn refused. Sandal got a work in Orlais. What can I say: good luck then. Good thing, they stay for a while yet.

And if this not enough yet, the current problem is: Anders wants to drink some strange Tevinter potion, to separate Justice and him. I know some Tevinter rituals and magic, but I've never heard any potion like that. If this exists, probably a dangerous experiment, true, I'm not an alchemist... (side note: I have to find out!) Anders hiding something, I know. When I question him about it, he tries to avoid my gaze or just joking (I was not really curious to your dream about the naked Grand Cleric, love. I had enough nightmare for a life, and it not over yet...). I don't even understand. Justice didn't cause any trouble in the last three years. If he insists to this, I'm with him, as always. But, the later the better, maybe change his mind... perhaps, once we will find some safe solution. This just weird and risky. And why he doesn't tell me, what's wrong with it? Because there's something, I'm sure. I don't want to lose him! And the ingredients ... who would able to drink such a ... shit ... willingly? Let's give him some time to thinking. (And again: I must find out!!!)

Now, go to Fenris! I didn't talk with him since we back from Orlais. But before I need a drink.

Finding Nathaniel

Anders and I just went to Aveline, for some rumours, when a black haired lady stopped us. She asked us to find her brother, a Warden, Nathaniel Howe.
When Anders heard his name, exhilarated, I not really remember, when he was such enthusiastic recently... Was something between them? And why this bothers me? Anders tells they were together in Amaranthine, just usual warden things... okay, let's go for him, Anders perhaps would kill me, if I refuse that.

But the Deep Roads' not that funny place, so, probably we need some help. I called Fenris and Aveline.
As Nathaniel's sister said, we followed our old path of the expedition, through some Darkspawn, and found Howe.

Should I be jealous? Rather let's go! We found Nathaniel, this was the task. We're done here...

..as I imagined. But Nathaniel had another plan, his crew missed, he doesn't want to come without them. Of course, let's go to save people!

Aveline doesn't like the idea to protect „foolish” Wardens „from themselves”.

A dwarf, named Temmerin Glavonak, from the Vigil's Keep, helped us with his explosive. He said a little farther, maybe there are survivors.

Other groups of Darkspawn, and... Carver?! Thanks to the Maker we didn't leave! Did he thank me? Who are you? Did you eat my brother? Or the Taint ate his brain...

Now, we're done here. Okay, new target: The Hanged Man!

I'd go with the violent solution. It would be more in line, if he killed Karras too. The situation is a bit similar. Ralph tries to protect a group of people from templars abusing their power - I never played a truely red Hawke, but I killed that templar girl once too. She was a mean cookie - a bit like the templar mirror image of Grace in act 3.


Played Lia Aisling, my human commoner a bit more. She saved Redcliffe, freed Jowan so he could help and decided to go to the circle for mage help. Morrigan was sent into the Fade (she simply has the most funny dialogue with Eamon and the demon there ) and defeated the demon.
Then we had a bit of confusion in camp, because Leliana became jealous of Alistair. Lia never was anything but friendly to Ali, but all of a sudden, he had 'care' as status. I told him that he has to go look elsewhere and  - bam - 26 disapproval. I have choosen the nicest possible answer and never even encouraged him in the first place and still it was obviously my fault - whiner. At least Zevran takes it like a sport.

Today just added some miscellaneous to Ralph Hawke's character sheet (still under construction)

LOVE IT!! I will savor every read but after a few cups of coffee and when Gasper is dead. 

Hawke's mother and father met in 9:05 Dragon, they left Kirkwall a few months later, and Leandra already was pregnant, so: Hawke born at the end of 9:05, or in 9:06. Hawke ~24-25 in 9:30, when the Blight destroyed Lothering, and they went to Kirkwall.

My really angry guy rather Ralph, he's the most problematic among them – Reinhardt is a hotheaded sweetheart, a devoted lover and friend – Willard more distrustful, or rather he wants to believe, but don't want to be naive, if this has some sense – he already lost many whom he trusted sometimes.

Abram and Anduin probably would their good friend. And you're right, not a chance against Anders.

I never felt conflicts about the Circles. They must be destroyed – at least as prisons. As education and research centres, they're useful – but not necessarily in one place. The Inquisition paints a grotesque picture about the Circles. Vivienne absolutely wrong – the truth is the Kinloch Hold, The Gallows and the White Spire, and that the mages' children become the Chantry's properties, like Wynne's son.

9:41.  The 5th Blight started at 6.30, the Kirkwall's rebellion started at 9:37. Cassandra interrogated Varric in ~9:40-41. The Trespasser happened in 9:43. So: if Abram and Anduin born in 9:07, they're 33 when the Inquisition started.

I'm glad you did read their stories – and you found them interesting, especially Ralph's (He's my first red!Hawke, I didn't expect that a red!Hawke can be my favourite, but the character grew on me). I didn't expect you'll like him – he's a little bit different than your characters.
I just found that place and started to gather the pieces of information and stories about my characters here. Easy to put everything in the character sheet, and to find it later. Do it, what you found more fun, of course. I like your dialogues, by the way.
