So, I had a little time to play, let see: Ralph Hawke, aggressive/sarcastic, primal-blood-fire at the moment (Plan to finish: Force-Blood-Primal with one-two fire spells), Carver planned to be Grey Warden. Also planned to be rival all companions except Anders, but this will hard, I see. At the moment, for example, Carver and Fenris likes him better than all my Hawkes, included the friendly ones too. so: let's play as a jerk (not evil, just an asshole) as I can, and we'll see... Today's tasks: bring the amulet to the Sundermount. Fun moment with Carver and Merrill:
Blood Magic. Do you know what you are using, little girl, or just use blindly? Seems Anders doesn't like Blood Magic, no problem, then he'll get used to it... I would be sad if not! Well! The Witch... or Asha'bellanar or something... anyway: impressive. And promise fulfilled. Time to go. So: the little Blood Mage comes with us... On the way back we met a dwarf. After we saved him, he offered a deal, it was about some qunari black powder. He says this need him. I wondered, why need black powder to a dwarf, but Anders said, that this is some very strong stuff. Well, let's see, if this stuff pays well. Welcome in Kirkwall, Merrill! There are worse places here than this. + Anders in Brothel:

So: Ralph Hawke (agressive/sarcastic blood mage): The Magistrate's son: "Do not be afraid, little girl, I will rip his limbs one by one"Templar problems.
Templar Abomination, Carver worries (again) "This is a fucking Templar Knight Captain, please, just NO!", I don't worry. Anders angry, and can't hide it. Finally we go to the brothel. Idunna, the Exotic Wonder... Fenris behave weird, Fucking bitch, What you doing? Okay, no mercy for you, go to the Circle, and enjoy it! Anders hates it. No problem. He will calm down later. This Exotics Wonder told me what I wanted. Go for this Templarling. What's going on? This is Keran? Idiot cultists? Idiot dead cultist already. Let's see the boy. according Merrill he's clean. Back to the Templar. I did your job, just pay, do not try me, I am also a man, but you are right, not like you! By the way, the boy isn't possessed, we tested him. And yes, you're right again: the Order should be grateful. Mage problems. At Alienage a woman asked my help to find her son. The boy is a mage. He escaped, because his mother already talked with a Templar about him. I'm not surprised, he doesn't want to go into the Circle. Anders ardent, Carver worries as usually, Fenris grumpy. Let's go to the boy's father and the Templar! Calm down, I'm a mage! Fenris angry at the Templar, and enlightens him, that not all elves live in the cage. Carver is still worries. The next step: go to the docks, there is a burned out ex-templar Poor junkie bastard. Anders doesn’t trust him, probably he’s right. The lyrium took his brain and spine. Sad story. He could have been a good man. Eh, no matter, let’s threaten him, the threat always works! The traces have led us to a slave trader. Fenris' magical fist helped me to interrogate him I was impressed, but I like to solve the problems with my own hand. The slave traders already have taken the boy, to a mine. “Just kill him, I do not care..”(Fenris, the smiling murderer… that face!) Seems Fenris likes my method, Aveline less… The boy scared, but finally, everyone’s happy. Qunari problems.

Ah! I don't believe, finished my work, then I have a little time for fun! Ralph Hawke then: Ralph kindly congratulated to Aveline for her appointment"You was annoying as guard, as captain you are unbearable. Keep your law in your office! I do not want to spoil a friendly relationship."Later he helped to Isabela"End this conversation!""You've already faced him. Do not let yourself be blackmailed!"A good program for a date"Come on, let's do something exciting! I hope you will enjoy it as much as I am!"

Ralph HawkeShepherding Wolves (One of my fav quests – Anders, Fenris and Carver brilliant! Probably the best setup for this quest.) We have saved the foolish sister from some bandits but she was not alone, she called her dog. I could have guessed... "A bloody Templar!" Carver worries as usually. Let's see, what does she want? We followed her to the House. Inside the dog snarls on us, with a big sword in his hand. "Drop it, or I'll break your hand!" The dog looked at his master and put off his sword, good boy, you can keep your hand, for now. "And you, sister, introduce yourself properly!"In the door appeared a qunari. Fenris wondered. "A Saarebas, here?" I don't know what is the Saarebas, the sister called him Ketojan, and told, that she wants me to freed him. Weird. She also spoke about the eternity, but did not know anything about the key of the qunari's chains. It does not really matter while she pay well. But I don't like it. I asked the qunari what he want, but he could not answer: his mouth was sewed... Fenris told, that his eyes a slave's eyes: we can't know, he wants freedom or a new master. Poor bastard. Carver urges: still worries about the Templar... We have to go out on a tunnel, and met with some mob. They wanted to die. I will always be happy to help you if they ask me nicely. Seems the Saarebas or something also likes to help the people... We left the city, the qunari already "free"... with his chains... but some qunari arrived. They were not friendly. They were talking about demons, apparently afraid of me and Anders. I did not want to kill them, but they insisted on it ... We found the "key" to the chains, Ketojan freed. But he doesn't want to live freely. He want to live according to the qun. So: he wants to die. I don't understand, but I let him go. His choice. He burned himself. Anders angry. Carver too. Back to this sister. The sister and her pet obviously were surprised that we came back. We questioned her and I threatened her. It always helps, if not else, at least that I feel much better. Ralph HawkeDeep Roads expedition Varric: "Be happy, Bartrand, meet our partner, Hawke!" Bartrand: "Money? Maps?" Me: "These?"Bartrand: "Where did you get it?"Anders: "A mage did it."Me: "Can we go now? ... Mother?" (Wtf?) Mother: "Don't take Carver on the Deep Road, I don't want to lose both of you! Leave him at home with me!"Carver: "Mother, I'll be fine!"Me: "If you try not to worry and whine..." (I'm starting to get used to Mother's accusing gaze. Nevermind. Carver's a big guy, can take care of himself.) Finally we arrived to Deep roads. Bartrand became a prick. Anders hates the Deep Roads. And Bodahn lost his son. Great start. At least Carver doesn't worry. A pleasant surprise. Whatever. First, let's find the boy... if he's alive. We found the boy. Stronger, what I expected. And how he survived alone? Really strange dwarf. Never mind, everyone's happy, let's go on! According to Bartrand, we found a strange place. He never seen similar, despite he born in Orzammar. True, I also didn't hear of any kind of lyrium, what's red. Anders warn, that this is not good kind, I also feel that. We found a weird idol. When I gave it to Bartrand, he looking at this stuff bewitched, then left us, and slammed the door behind him...! You fucking little bastard! No matter, we'll find a way out of this shit, kill Bartrand, and live happily ever after. Too bad it never that simple ... What kind of monsters are these? Demons? Yes, I feel, and Anders warns too, Carver still doesn't worry. According to Varric these are rock wraiths, from the ancient dwarven legends. They should not even exist. Good. It's time to send them back to the world of legends. Well, it looks like we survived, plus found some expensive ancient stuff... Looks like the expedition was worth it. Let's go home! Carver: "Brother, let's have a little rest. I dont feel good."Me: "C'mon, Carver! You starting to whine now, when it's over? Do not annoy me! Just go! ... Carver? CARVER!""This is the Blight. I feel", Anders said. Carver scared. "Just as the Templar, Wesley, I will die like him...""You don't! I will not let this happen!"Anders: "If the Wardens are here, they can help... yes, this can works."Lead the way, Anders! Soon we found them. Their leader –Anders called him: Stroud– seemed not helpful. Anders asked him and tried to convince him. And I have threatened him. Finally, we persuaded him. We said goodbye. Perhaps forever. We finally got home. That's not how I imagined it. Anders said, Carver will survive. He's stronger than he even thought about himself. You'll be a rich man... echoed in my head. I entered to the hause...

I started Act 2 with Ralph Hawke, aggressive/sarcastic blood mage. Three years passed. The things going fine. Carver survived the taint and the ritual. Still an ass, still blames me, and I'm happy. This is my whiny little bastard and seems he's well. Ralph, How are you? Hope all is well. Things are good here, I suppose. Grey Warden legends do fail to mention a few things, though! I've yet to do anything remotely glorious or honorable since arriving. In fact, most of it is painful, dirty, often horrific work. Thanks a lot! (In case you forgot that it's your fault I'm here.) The positive is that I'm alive and part of something greater. I've a chance to prove myself. Maybe I'll even step out of your big fat shadow! Thing is, Ferelden already has a hero that stopped the Blight. Pfft! Big deal, right? Say hello to Mother and Gamlen for me. Carver Mother and me got back the old Amell residence and the family's noble title. Mother seems happier as well. Sandal with Bodahn live with us, they are not only useful at the house but good friends too. Sandal's a weird dwarf, I feel, he have some connection to the magic. I got a letter from Arianni. Her son, Feynriel in trouble again. She wants me to follow Feynriel in his dream, to the Fade, and to awake him before is late. Keeper Marethari knows a ritual to send us into the Fade. And even asked me, to kill him in the Fade, if he can't awaken or already possessed. This means he'll be a Tranquil. This necessary, because there's a big danger if he to be an abomination. I can't promise anything, but I will try everything, what possible to save him. I chose Anderst, Fenris, and Aveline. Anders knows the Fade, and Justice also of course. And Anders already has occupier, so he's safe there. Fenris' strong, possibly he could able to resist to anything. Aveline just so law-abiding, what I can't bear in her normally, but perhaps in the Fade could help. And despite our disagreements, she is undoubtedly one of the most trusted people who I ever knew. Let's go! In the Fade the first who we met a sloth demon. It offered a help if I let it possess Feynriel. A dirty deal, unacceptable, but I can exploit without a risk. Of course, I can, I tried and succeed not once to trick demons. Not a big thing. But Justice doesn't allow it, he can't see my intentions. Fuck, he attacked me! Foolish spirit! We forced to defend ourselves. Seems, Fenris too happy with killing Anders/Justice. We should talk about this… Anyway, this isn't our dream, so, I hope Anders' okay. Why do I feel so bad yet? Eh, I hate you, Justice! You won. I don't use that demon anymore, rather I try to save Feynriel without its help. So, I must lead Feynriel to the truth, but he must recognize that himself. Let's try! First, we entered to the backyard. Maretari was there, with Feynriel. She seems proud to him, and he was proud of himself. Pride demon. Feynriel, he's a de... wait! He must recognize it, so just be smart! Okay, succeed, Marethari faded, and the pride demon emerged. Tried to tempt Fenris. Don't leave me, bastard! Fuck... In the next room were Feyynriel as a little kid, with his father. He must recognize, that's an illusion. The desire demons are tricky, be careful! Aveline! So easy prey! I'm alone. Great. I never will trust in anyone. But Feynriel's free and confident. I let him go to Tevinter. He will master his abilities. Succeeded. Arianni a bit disappointed, due of Feynriel wouldn't back to her, but grateful, just as Keeper Marethari. But I'm not done yet. Seems everyone's okay, aside from some embarrassment. Anders is condescending. I see he's well too, but disappointed. Let's go to calm him, I don't want to lose my chance with him for a stupid misunderstanding! I must explain to him, that this was a trick. I know, he hates blood magic, but that's not so terrible! Just a tool! In fact, a very useful one, and I'm so good at it.I won't give up it for you! Damn you, Anders, not I'm who possessed! (How I hate to apologize!) Aveline and Fenris... they must apologize! Anders' sad. But was so easy to convince him, he wanted to believe me. Good. I offered to help him communicate with the sounds in his mind. Go to Fenris. He's much nicer than before. No, I didn't use mind control... perhaps, this is the effect of "killing" Anders in Fade... don't be happy so much, it will not happen again. But I appreciate your friendship. Aveline's angry. Confused. And confirmed her conviction that every Mage should be closed. Perhaps including me. Good to know. Video:

Ralph Hawke, aggressive/sarcastic blood mage. Planned: everyone rivalry, except Anders. Failed attempt, Fenris already friend... and more. Accidentally. Planned romance: Anders. Still in progress. A few days ago we went to Sundermount to taking some weeds and killing some bandits, but slave hunters ambushed us. They wanted Fenris. Idiots. Before all bastard died, one of them told that Danarius's apprentice is nearby, in a cave. Let's go! Human sacrifice. Great. Let's burn up the place! Frightened elf girl came in, she asked that we should not hurt the Magister. I did not promise. Instead, I offered her a job. Fenris was angry, supposed I want a slave. Of course, I want, I'm a mage, what else I would want, idiot angry... eh, whatever! I told him that I would pay to her, like everyone else. He calmed down. It's time to trust me, you fool! Anders said there was no man (mage, ofc...) who could be able to do such a thing. It's time to stop trusting in the people (every mage), you fool! We killed some people, moving corpses and demons, and finally, we got to Magister. She was an easy prey. She was lying on the floor when she offered to Fenris, if we let her go, she speaks about Fenris's sister. Fenris promised, but he failed. He could not control his anger. I tried to talk with him, but he jus said, all Mages could be rotten... I almost sent him to the Void, but Anders was quicker. And surprisingly more kind than I would have been. So I just told him we can search for his sister if he wants. He left us. We went back to the Kirkwall, in The Hanged Man, I got home at dawn. Fenris waited for me. He apologised. This is slowly becoming his habit. I do not mind. But he did not want to come in. Later I talked to Orana, the elf girl from Hadriana's Cave. Interesting conversation, I never heard similar before. "I even feel sorry for the Magister, is that bad?", she said. "Hadriana killed your father. For his blood! Why you feel sorry for her" I wondered. "She tried so hard!… The other Magisters just laugh at her … I know what she did, but…"I don't understand. Anyway, I told her, that she not a slave anymore. I couldn't stop thinking about, what Orana said, and Fenris came into my mind. I must visit him. But first, deal with more practical things. Aveline told me, that Emeric, the Templar who investigated in that weird case of the lost ladies, harass her with his crazy ideas. But what about he's right? I'm still convinced, that not every Templar is totally mad, despite what I experienced. For example, this one seemed quite normal. True, just careful with him, he old enough, maybe only the lyrium is talking in his head. Let's take a closer look at the situation! I take Anders Aveline and Sebastian, and we went to the Gallows. At Gallows an angry Templar lady stopped us. She's looking for some Templar, named Karras or something, she said I killed him. It may be true, but I can not register all the names of the Templars, whom I killed. I'm sure I had the proper reason why I did it, I always find a proper reason to killing things. Ah, so! That prick! I just wanted to let the Starkhaven apostates go. It was fair I killed him, I blame him. Why he interfered? Just that Templar Lady. So, get out of my way, my Lady, or you will die too... I mean, please. (Why do not my advice be accepted? Fools.) Anders, my naive Love, thanks for your care, but spare your energy to the others, I have an alternate channel to healing. Well, the program has changed. I completed my daily limit of the Templars, so Emeric's issues put off. Let's concentrate more pleasant things! For example The Hanged Man, and later Fenris. I need some drink before I visit him, but I'm sure he has better-qualified alcohol than this rat urine. He was drinking, when I arrived. I happily join him, though he was a bit drunk, I was not completely sober either. He talked to me about his escape. He told, that he didn't exactly want to escape, this rather was an accident. He talked about the Fog Warriors, who wanted to protect him from his master, but he killed them all for his master. I suppose I started to understand Orana. And the behavior of the Circle Mages whom Anders talked about. And I also always wondered, why they don't rebel or just try to escape... Holy fucking shit terrible thing! But I have a friend. Or more? I'm an idiot, I must stop that! I love Anders, and Fenris would never accept me that's for sure! Go back to the Hanged Man! Late night I got home, thoroughly drunken. In the foreground, Fenris was waiting for me. His intent was clear and met with mine. It was only dawn when I woke up. My head was buzzing. Fenris was standing at the fireplace, completely dressed, his sword on his back. Prepared to leave. He talked about his flashing memory fragments, and how confusing it is. He did not let me help him, just apologized (how I am not surprised!), and left. So... It's over. Maybe it's better this way. I dressed up and went to Anders to the clinic. Recently a vendor offered to me a Tevinter Chantry Amulet, and I bought that to Anders, I almost forget that. Haha, how surprised he was! He told me, I want him to be executed! But I saw he's happy. Then we met with Fenris and went to the harbor. I got a weird letter, someone ask me to help to the Mages. Of course, I will. It's illegal and serves a good cause. I like! It's a shame I did not bring Aveline with me! Okay, time to face some Templars again! I told Aveline to join. Go to the Gallows! I had to stop at the right hand of the Knight Commander! I like to hear the rumors from the original source. So: seems the rumors didn't lie: the Knight Commander is on the straight way to be totally mad. Go to Emeric, we can not be deferred. If he's right, this is important. Emeric suspects a serial killer, and told, that Meredith stopped the investigation, but the City Gards did a bad job. Aveline angry, and seems to consider Emeric idiot, but I tend to believe him, at least worth it's worth checking out. I promised him that I will investigate the case. Aveline returned to her job, and we went to Chantry. Sebastian joined, I promised him to visit the Harimann Manor, and help to fix this issue. But first I must talk with the Grand Cleric about the Mages and Meredith. Harrowed people tranquilized? She must stop this crime! "The Maker’s time’s not men’s time. We don’t need to rush. The Chantry’s not a domineering Father with a whip always in Hand. She’s a gentle Mother, who knows her children learn best when allowed to learn themselves." She said. Idiot! (Seems almost everyone's idiot here! I'm not even surprised. I can only count on myself and my friends. Just as always.) Strange: the manor's door wasn't closed. Inside the things were even stranger. The Harimanns seems didn't realize our presence. Sebastian said he had never seen them like that before. I suggest demonic influence, the signs are typical. That's proved: we found a stair to the basement, and lower places. Nobody knew about this place. I was not really surprised again: our manor also has a tunnel. Seems Kirkwall full of strange old passages. Of course demonic presence! We found Lady Harimann in the companion of a desire demon. Sebastian questioned Lady Harimann, and the demon tried to tempt him. We killed it before could do more trouble. Sebastian seemed vulnerable. He told, that the demon was right about his feeling. I assured him again, that he will be a very good ruler, and even give to him a long bow, what I found at a mercenary. The crest of Vael family decorated it, so I thought, that's his. Anyway, he's not that boring choirboy, what it seems for the first sight. Not even harmless. To be continued... sometime.

I said already, how I like the face expressions in DA2?Red!Hawke romance scene (perhaps the story incoming later): "Are you asking to move in?" "Well… yes…" I can't say I rate DA graphics too highly, however, I'm glad someone else has pointed this out - the facial expressions are excellent. It's not just in DA2. There was this scene in DAO where I was surprised in a wow way. When I played a good aligned Warden and although I have avoided romance flags with Morrigan she confessed to having feelings for him. When she came and asked for the ritual my Warden declined. This resulted in her leaving - however - when she was leaving I could see her face. She paused mid-step and that felt like she was strongly second guessing that decision. And then her expression - it had this mix of hurt and regret. A couple of runs later, I was playing this evil Sauron type Warden who kicked puppies and defiled urns. I must point out that in both cases Morrigan approval was around 90. When Morrigan came for the ritual - this Warden also sent her walking. When Morrigan was walking out of the room - her facial expression gave me the CREEPS. Her eyes narrowed malevolently and her mouth down turned. Brr! Morrigan had two different reactions and two different facial expressions based on the Warden who sent her away. It's also interesting how contradictory Morrigan is. With the first Warden she disapproved of every single decision - yet this Warden had to use 'let's be friends' line more than all my other Wardens put together. Then, Morrigan had tremendous respect for my evil Warden. She clapped and danced at his decisions - yet not once had the romance flag been triggered.

Okay, the story of Ralph Hawke: (The Tethras Signet Ring)
On a day, on the way of The Hanged Man, I stopped at the trinket vendor to buy something for Anders, when I saw a ring with a dwarf motif. I found it familiar somehow. This isn't Varric's family crest? Probably Varric will appreciate it. Well, he did not seem too happy. He's a funny dude but doesn't into my humor. No matter. Often happens. People usually don't get me, but I love their reaction... Okay, I pay him a beer... "My father's signet ring""This belongs to whoever is responsible for House of Tethras. That's you now.""I'm in real danger of forgetting that. Thanks, Hawke, I promise, I'll think of you, whenever I argue pointlessly with some blighter."(Blackpowder Courtesy)
Fenris arrived, and later Anders. After we've drunk enough for it, I decided, we'll go look at the Arishok's problem. I did not really want to deal with it, so far I have not benefited from it. But the Arishok had a good argument... Thousands may die if the stolen powder gets into the wrong hands. Javaris? Correct me, if I'm wrong, but he's not a criminal genius. Anders agrees. In any case, probably it's worth checking out. Varric had another important task, so, I called Aveline, she might be interested in the issue. Anders was right. Javaris' "innocent"... in this ofc. But he mentioned an elf. In an alley we found the stolen barrels. Some city guards were standing in our way. The situation seemed serious. I've never seen anything like it. The contents of the barrel, some-kind gas, made crazed everyone who inhaled it. The elf woman was mad. She wanted revenge for his people who left their own fellows for the qun. She died. Go back to Arishok! The Arishok seems lost his patience. The viscount must know about it. I told him, I killed the perpetrators, but this isn't really calmed him... I not even wonder. Anyway, we had a hard day, we need a drink! Or more... (Dissent)
I woke up late in the morning. Time to visit Anders! My head still buzzed, the last night was long, so I planned a pleasant conversation… a little flirting... or maybe more... eh, daydreaming! He was upset. Not the best timing to a loose, healing chatting and courtship... But when? I KNOW you want me, just as much I want you! But what he said suddenly sobered me up. He was talking about a crazy Templar, named Otto Alrik, who planned to tranquilize every mage in the Circle. Anders perhaps tends to exaggerate but he seemed serious. I remembered, he spoke about the Tranquils... there are more and more of them... mages who he knew were harrowed... like Karl... and now, they started the hunt around the Darktown too. The cold ran down my spine, then the sheer rage flooded me. I can't let it happen! If they want him, they will have to come through me! I said that to him, and he just told, he worries about me! That I risk my life... and... he would drown us in blood to keep me safe! No one said such beautiful passionate thing to me! And his eyes – gleamed feverishly. Yes. He wants me so badly. Then why...? But I can't let him lose himself because of me, because of anyone or anything else! I can't leave him alone with it. If he's right about it, I will kill everyone who is involved in this madness, if he's not, then he will calm in my arms... I decided not to call anyone. Anders said that this is the secret tunnel of the Mage Underground, I don't want to risk the secrecy (not to mention, that I don't want to involve anyone; this is our task). If we aren't able to deal with some miserable Templars, we deserve death. We found that pervert beast: in companion of his fellow Templars, he abused a young mage girl. Anders tried to hold back Justice, but failed. He lost his control, just as in the Chantry, before Karl. Justice was useful in the fight, we killed the Templars, and I promised to Justice, that we'll kill every such ditry Templars, but at the end the girl committed a serious mistake... she called Justice a demon. Ofc, she did, but I didn't count with Justice's reaction. He attacked that girl. Okay. He confused, I must convince him, that the danger has passed, the girl is not an enemy, and Anders should be back! Fuck! Succeed. He was able to listen to me. But Anders was horrified. He ran away. I have to go after him and calm him down! But before I must escort the girl out of here, and tell her, she must leave Kirkwall. She's not in safe here. In other hand, I do not really want the Knight Commander to hear what's happened here. Fuck Justice, you don't make the things easier for me! Okay, now time to visit Anders! It looks like I've been able to calm down. Thanks the Maker! And Fuck. I already lost Bethany, Carver, I don't want to lose him! Later, when I finished to fix that mess, and rested myself a bit – I ran to visit him. He looked much better. He was grateful for what I did for the mages. He flattered me. I guess I'm lost. (Dissent video, including the fight)

Ralph Hawke ( Background)Merrill sent a message, that she wants to show anything, so, we visited her one morning. She shows me a big broken Mirror. I still felt some magic on it. Merrill said, that she cleansed that with blood magic, and told, that this "Eluvian" caused the problem in her clan when the Blight started. This mirror killed one of them. Now she wants to restore this thing's power, because she supposes, that this mirror is one piece of his people's forgotten history. A forgotten magic! Seems dangerous. I love it! Anders does not share my interest. I should not have brought him with me. "C'mon, Love, will be fun as always! Don't be so judgemental! I know, what you are, you know, what I'm, so, whats your problem again?"
I decided I will help her. We went into The Hanged Man for Isabella. Seems, she loves Merrill, perhaps will counterbalance Anders, and calm Merrill. She a bit fears from the talking with the Keeper. Inside The Hanged Man Varric told a story to the people. About me. Suddenly he finished and waved. What does he want? He's asking about Anders. "what's-His-Name that mage" he said... and warns me that it's a bad idea to live with a possessed mage. Enough, dwarf! My private life's not your story! I angrily left the tavern. Varric got scared. I can not stay mad at him. So I'll pay to a beer to him... again. Later. Now: go to the Sundermounth! Merrill asked the Keeper for an ancient artifact, whit probably she will able to restore this mirror. The Keeper finally a promised, that, but first asked us to kill a monster... We went to the cave, where the monster lived, and a scared elf ran before us. it could have been terrible, what he had seen inside. But not so terrible, like... Merrill...? What did the Keeper tell him? Or what happened? The elf ran back straight to the monster. We killed the monster, but that poor boy died, Anders couldn't help him. But was bitter, and blamed the blood magic. Again... oh man...! Back to the Keeper! Merrill asked her, what she told to the clan about her. I'm sure, that that Marethari killed that guy. Idiot. No matter, we got the Arulin'Holm. Anders, Love, when you'll stop the worry about the fucking blood magic?! But Merrill was grateful, she told, I'm her only friend. Go back to Hanged Man! I need to placate Varric. In the Hanged man, we met with Fenris, and that man, who was suspected involving in the qunari issues. Let's ask, what he knows... I never refuse a little tavern brawl and some intimidation. The guy spoke about a templar... with the signet of the Grand Cleric. Nice. But Anders doubts. Okay, to the Chantry! Anders still doubts. According to him, a drunk’s words is not enough evidence. Now I WANT to know, what'ts going on! Sister Petrice! What a surprise! Last time we met, I was forced to kill a bunch of qunari... She said, that her ex-bodyguard, ser Varnell, that Templar, became untrustworthy, we must go after him. Varric suspects, this is a trap. Of course, this is it, but this information the only, what we have. Back to The Hanged Man!

Ralph Hawke (Background), Legacy, Part I.Carta dwarves attacked Carver, and tried to invade the mansion. I don't tolerate such an insult. But why they need us? I called Anders and Fenris, and Carver joined too. Varric led us to the Vimmark Mountains, to the Carta Hideout. According to Varric, these dwarves are strange even the place. Asked our plan. I told, no matter, how, we need to stop them. Carver was not satisfied with my plan. Anders worried. Oh, good old times! A warm welcome. What the fuck need you from us? Ah so, Hawke blood? I think you will die. Now. More crazy dwarves. Dead crazy dwarves. And a strange staff. (This was in his pocket?) I feelt the power in my blood. USeful stuff. Let's get out of here! Let’s follow these crazy dwarves! It’s a trap. We can't go back. No matter. I will not leave this place, before I finf that Corypheus-thing! So, onward! What the fuck is... this...? Darkspawn? Human? Anyway, he able to talk. About some kind key and seal. And blood, my blood, of course... True, what he said, worked well. Again? Who is he? A Grey Warden... was... a Commander. Once called Larius. Anders told, he comes to the Deep Roads because of his "Calling". What do you speak about, love? What is that "Calling"? Okay... and you...?! And Carver?! So... Fuck! Just go! "Darkspawn this, darkspawn that. Taint taint taint taint taint. After a while, you just get so tired of it, you know?" I started to understand Anders... (Blessed blood mage) Down we found strange other strange things. Sealed magical barriers, closed a different kind of demons, and some kind magic guarded them. The magic spoke to us in the voice of our father? This is a weird message? We followed the sealed barriers, and finally we really got the message from our father. (To be continued...)Hmm... Which answer fits better their relationship? A new dilemma...
