Oooh, that's pretty good, and probably as close as you can get without mods. Thank you for sharing. Your Inquisitor looks lovely! Still, they do strike me as more hazel-y. It just baffles me that literally the most common eye color (just brown!!) is so hard to recreate in the CC. It's like if they took away black/brown hair lol. you're welcome though it's just a random start I made to give a try to make brown-ish eyes . Will make a proper one once I've finished up my Warden and Hawke for this run (plus this random start was a rogue, and my Quizzy will be a mage)
And yeah, certain eye colors are really hard to make right. At least this CC isn't as hard to use as the one in MEA that one's a pain also, funny you should mention black hair...the darkest 'black' in Inquisition CC isn't pitch black either...it's more a very dark grey, so I use a mod to actually make it black

AUGH, that's so irritating. How can you not include.... literally the most common eye color in the entire world. Wat. Guess I'll be going for dark orange too, lol. This is as close as I ever get. As long as you make it dark enough, and keep enough red in the mix, especially in the outer iris, it should come off as brown in gameplay when combined with the annoying mandatory grey flecks.

Thank you! I think I've been focusing on orange because I was afraid if I did too much red, they'd come out... well, red. Which works for some qunari/elf characters but isn't generally what I'm going for when I'm aiming for brown eyes.

Nothing like a nice pair of deep and grounded nut-brown eyes to help make your western fantasy protagonist slightly less of an utter cliché, and as you say it's such a strange thing to omit.

I've been working out some more potential Grey Wardens, in the end I want to have one for each Origin Atm. they are as followed: Minerva Cousland - female warrior (champion, guardian) - Alistair romance (will be Queen) Arenor Mahariel - male rogue (ranger, shadow) - Morrigan romance (Loghain sacrifice) Harper Amell - female mage (arcane warrior, battlemage) - no in-game romance, Nathaniel head canon (Loghain alive) Parvati Brosca - female rogue (duelist, legionnaire scout) - Leliana romance (Dark ritual by Alistair)
Raelyn Tabris - female rogue (bard, shadow) - Zevran romance (Dark ritual by Alistair) Varian Aeducan - male warrior (berserker, reaver) - no romance (does have a child with Mardy (will end up dead, Anora as sole ruler (Alistair exiled)
I'm also going to play them in this order...Cousland was my first Warden ever, Mahariel was second (though that one was female), Amell was third Brosca was male the first time I played that origin, everyone knows my Tabris (going to replay her) and Varian, is new...and he's going to be a bit of an a-hole...hence why he's going to die
In a multi-verse where all would be Wardens the set up would be as followed: Minerva would marry Alistair as his Queen, Anora would be alive and become the new Teyrna of Gwaren (yes I'm aware she'd be dead in canon but shh)
Harper and Arenor would advocate for recruiting Loghain, which would put Alistair, Raelyn and Minerva in a bad mood (they'd get over it eventually), so Loghain would still be a Warden and be the Warden contact during Inquisition instead of Stroud Parvati would just shrug and go along with the major vote not really caring about much so long as her sister is happy Varian as said above would pull the shortest straw and somewhat begrudgingly throw himself at the Archdemon (he'd still be named Paragon posthumous)
Minerva would also be the only one with a mabari (Arenor would have a wolf companion), but would get the others a mabari after the Blight
In terms of allies...Mages recruited Connor alive with help from the Circle, the Urn of Sacred Ashes is not poisoned Werewolves cured and Dalish recruited Bhelen would rule Orzammar (much to Varian's chagrin because he'd have been blackmailed by Bhelen, but much to Parvati's happiness because, Rica) the Anvil of the Void would not be recovered, even though Parvati was at first advocating to using it she decides against it after learned just how golems are made (Varian would call it a necessary risk, but be majorly outvoted by the others) Both Raelyn and Parvati would go on a rampage in Denerim becoming the Dark Wolves, the assassination contracts would also be carried out by those two (with a little help from Arenor) Slavers in the Alienage would be shut down hard And during the epilogue...Varian would be...dead Parvati would alternate with going back to Orzammar and Denerim, traveling with Leliana...she'd be Orzammar's new ambassador Arenor would spend his time trying to track down Morrigan (who'd have left because there'd be no dark ritual), every now and then pop into Amaranthine to help Harper Raelyn would become the first elven Bann of Denerim's alienage and spend much time with Minerva and Alistair Minerva as said above would be Queen Harper would take on the mantle of Warden Commander, and also be the new court mage to Minerva and Alistair

I started a new and glorious game in DA4 thread. VOTE VOTE VOTE for your favourite rogue of all times! bsn.boards.net/thread/18927/game-da-sexiest-characterI'm also going to revive DAO game I've been working on. Since the thread I've been posting the updates is busy and isn't exactly suitable, I feel this thread is a better place to update. pelassarias and I have given each other DAO challenge. I'm going to post the recap first and then post new chapters. These are the game requirements from Pela: First Point: You must play a blood mage. Second Point: You have to garner enough negative approval with either Leliana, Zevran, or Alistair to the point where they either threaten to leave or give you a really stern talking. Afterwards you're free to go back to their good side or make things worse from there on out. As for the third challenge: You know that tough fight during the Rescue The Queen storyline that leads to most wardens getting locked up afterwards (if you didn't choose to surrender)? Well, it is possible to actually win this fight. So I think you know what I'm getting at here. You have to win this fight against Cauthrien and the guards. No surrendering and no losing. And luckily for you, blood magic should help a bit here. Alternate third challenge (this is only if you've actually defeated Cauthrien before): You must defeat the High Dragon without Wynne in your party, and without any healing spells and revives. Any blood magic, including stealing health from your party, is totally fine though. You're also free to stock up to five health poultices. And you can do this in any difficulty setting, but I recommend normal or hard. As for the fourth and last challenge: One of these companions -Leliana, Zevran, and Alistair. I'll also count Loghain if you recruited him after the Landsmeet- must die in your play through. It was a nice and sunny middle of the night at the Tower of Magi. When I was dragged straight out of the bed for some friendly lecturing. And so the Origins of Solona Amell, the future Blood Mage, have been laid out. But, that she doesn't know yet! After the Harrowing, Cullen was making it way too easy to harass him. Why do I need the fire rod, Owain? Why, for my imperative research on burning things... such as magic doors... And Templar pants! I promised Sweeney! What kind of Hogwash is this?! I can't believe I wasn't allowed to actually do it for a quest! That pervert was giving stink eye to an elderly person, what even is that! He needs his pants burned down, I argue! Since pants weren't available, went back to plan A to burn doors. When it has a fancy name, such as the Victim's Door, the bigger the prestige to blast it down. This caused phylacteries to be destroyed and unwanted blood mage elements to escape. RUN Jowan! Run like the wind! Greagoir SURE was mad about it and wanted ME burned down next. Thank the Maker for the out of execution any day card! hahaha In your face, Chantry! On the doorstep Templar advice - next time, make sure to lock BOTH doors leading to the phylacteries!

So...I decided to try my hand at some modding misadventures again
I'm currently trying (keyword being trying) to convert a hairstyle from Sims 4 to use in Origins... Exported hairstyle/mesh (also hopefully how it'll look once it's actually done) and current progress as to why it's on a Qunari male...that's 'cause I'm trying to make a fancy hairstyle for Sten
still need to properly fit it to the cap, and actually get it to work...proper weighting, texture...but it's progress at least

Lady that seems like a cool Qunari harcut, kind of similar to Sten actually. More on Solona adventures. A new day to begin adventures in the stabby and dangerous wilds. Alistair says It! Yes, swooping is bad! After dragging your feet through the bone filled marshes, it's always great to get some refreshment! And after drinking this vile brew it's great to wake up to some friendly faces. This gathering is for the fireworks, right? Maybe these Grey Wardens won't be so bad after all. Yes, Cailan. A glorious moment for us all. You are required to do nothing, least of all believe. Shut one's eyes tight or open one's arms wide... either way, one's a fool! That didn't go according to plan. And now we have to fix everything. From here you two are on your own. Remember, you are both Grey Wardens. I expect you to be worthy of that title. At least I'll be in the good company. One thing you can never have enough of is doggos. Onward, crew! To Lothering! Our valiant heroes have arrived at Lothering and instantly fired the bridge manager who ran off to do a below lousy job elsewhere. The extortion prices on that bridge were real pathetic. After having many dull conversation with the local Templars and having Alistair crack a smile for the first time in ages since every friend he had know got eaten by Darkspawn, because he met one of Earl Eamon's men and informed him that his other friend died and all that remained was a locket. The Chantry brothers were also a dull conversation. CB: We are all sinners! The fire symbolizes our hope that forgiveness is possible. Solona: So if I sin, I should just set myself on fire? CB: NO!

Lady that seems like a cool Qunari harcut, kind of similar to Sten actually. Thanks (imo. it's somewhat similar to his haircut in the comics when he's Arishok, it's mainly why I picked it)
now I just have to get it to work...should take a while, but I'll be sure to post a screenshot once I have it working

it's on a Qunari male...that's 'cause I'm trying to make a fancy hairstyle for Sten No desire to make it for other races? For a warrior such hairstyle is just perfect imo, for human or elf (shorter v. for a dwarf). PS: fair-haired mage looks more like a battlemage unlike dark-haired. Nice change.

More Solona
Since nothing interesting popped up, the party ventured into the most entertaining place in town - the tavern! And that's where the fun began!
Loghain's Men: Lookie here, a person we've been looking for all morning and everyone claims they haven't seen! (so rude! trying to murder us before having a drink!) Leli: Surely, these are just poor souls seeking refuge. Solona: Stay out of the way, Sister. LM: You protect these traitors, you'll get same as them! Solona: What makes you think we're traitors?
LM think they're boss and attack.
Leli: Too easy. Surely, we don't need to kill them? Solona: Make yourself useful and say your prayers for them. Leli: Oh! OH! May the Maker have mercy on your souls!
LM turn into plant fertilizer the tavern keeper will forget in the corner.
Leli: I apologize for interfering, but I couldn't just sit by and not help. Solona: It's all right. I was happy to save your life. Leli: Save my life? I assure you, I can handle myself! Solona: You must, butting into others' business all the time. Leli: So now you know about me? We just met! Solona: That's quite the temper you have, Sister. Leli: Many of us had colourful life before the Chantry. Solona: And is there something you wanted from me? Leli: I heard those men say you're a Grey Warden. That's why you'll need all the help you can get. I'm coming along. Solona: (lie) These men were mistaken. I'm not a Grey Warden. Leli: Ooooh! Shall we move on then, my common and unremarkable friend? Solona: I'm not your friend. Leli: I thought you might say that, but you see, the Maker wants me to join you. Solona: Can you... elaborate? Leli: I know that sounds absolutely insane. Alitair: More crazy? I thought we're filled up! Leli: What you do, what you meant to do, is the Maker's work. Let me help! Solona: We need more than prayers. Leli: I can fight! Solona: Very well. I will not turn away help when it is offered. Morrigan: Perhaps your head was cracked more than Mother thought. Leli: I will not let you down!
After solving every problem in Lothering with the pointy end of the staff, our brave Warden took well deserved rest at the camp where some things Duncan had conveniently forgotten to mention ambushed her in her dreams.
To cheer up, Solona went ahead to her favourite past time, harassing Leliana.
Solona: This vision of yours... Leli: Proceeds to tell her spiritual story in detail, rose and all. Solona: Uh did you... hear voices? Leli: How can I stand by while the Blight devours everything? Solona: The Blight is the Maker's punishment. Will you defy him? Leli: You... you're such a pessimist!
Following a few heart warming conversations at the camp, Solona wanted to rush to the Tower of Magi for Ser Bryant had told her blood curling news that the Right of Annulment had been called on. But... you cannot ask for a great sense of orientation from someone who had never set a foot outside the Tower before! After hiring a guide who named himself Levy Dryden, our party ended up staring at the snowy mountains of the Soldiers Peak.

No screenshots yet, but I remade my very first character concept for DAI - a redheaded DW dwarf rogue named Lorna Cadash. She's been on the backburner for years; feels good to play her again, and this time she looks the right age and not so babyfaced (I just... can't do Blackwall's romance with a very young looking character). I can't decide whether to recruit the mages or the templars this time around.

pelassarias I found some time to advance the story a lot. Still making Leli's life exciting. More Solona Soldier's Peak Having happily lied to Sofia, the adventurer party encountered Avernus. Solona: Wow! You've been experimenting for all these years with demonology and blood magic? I call dibs on the first product you make. Want funding and Leliana to help you out with the experiments? Avernus: Nah, I'd rather you free me by murdering the local boss demon. Solona: Consider it done. Levy: Thank you so much for helping me learn that one of my legendary ancestors had turned into a monster. I owe you! Solona: No problemo. Here's the broom. Have fun cleaning up all these stinky demon corpses. We're off to the Tower of Magi. Denerim scenery with Howe and Loghain. Howe: Aside from the civil war, darkspawn army, slave revolts and abominations running amuck - I have bad news - surviving Wardens. Zevran: The problematic part can be fixed by two alternative means: seduce them or stab them. Loghain: Face Palm. Zevran: I take it I should improvise. Camp Time Solona: You don't seem like the type to be in the ranks of the preachy, stuck up old farts. Leli: I used to travel dangerous roads as a bard, the farts came into my life later. Solona: So the crowd with torches chased you down to the church for singing off key? Leli: For stabbing someone who asked too many wrong questions. Tower of Magi Greagoir: I remember what you've done. Come to help more abominations and blood mages escape the tower? Solona: Weak argument from someone who is about to employ my skills and blood magic to save the tower. Alistair: Look! A bunch of cute children! Solona: You sure they aren't abominations? Alistair: They're not abominations! The dog says so! Mabari aka Supers: Woof! Solona: If the Dog says so, then we'll ally with Wynne. Uldrid: You sure have ruined our relationship by busting in and murdering all my lackeys. But you can make it up to me by giving my abominations foot massage. Solona throws the litany at Uldrid. Wynne: You were suppose to read it. Solona: I was playing fetch with the Dog. Supers jumps on Uldrid to fetch the litany and tramples all abominations in excitement. Irving: It's safe to say, the mage collective is very proud of you. Solona: Was he talking to me or to the Dog? Greagoir: She still granted leave to the few blood mages encountered at the Tower. Irving: We will help you in the fight against darkspawn. Archdemon: Crud. On the road. Shady merchant: Magic books! Read all about them in this unique magic book. Genuine! Unique copy! Written by Andraste herself! If you buy five, you'll get 6th free! Solona sells him her fake copy. Shady merchant: Wait a minute... Attack! Farther down the road after a mule nearly runs over the party. Alistair: I hope this merchant has better stuff than the last one. Merchant: Golem Control rod for sale... without the golem... that's in a village... just a few days march through the bog and darkspawn charred country... I hope he will not stomp on you once you say the activation phrase... Solona: Sounds like a bargain. Even farther down the road. Disguised lady in distress: Oh help! Please help! An honest merchant caravan is under attack! Alistair: Merchant?! If I wasn't so heroic, I'd advise running the other way. Zevran: How did this assassination go wrong? Solona: If it makes you feel any better, it was the best attempt to this date. Zevran: If you can't beat them join them? Alistair: Another love interest? No! Absolutely not! We are not recruiting him! Solona: Aww precious. I will always have the softest spot for the handsome men in metal suits. Alistair: I still disapprove. It had taken long enough to get to Redcliffe Alistair: Do you like soap operas? Solona: I like everything you say. Alistair: Marric's my dad then. Redcliffe Townie: I hate to interrupt, but the town is under attack by monsters. Solona: One of these days I will find someone who isn't. Alistair, Leliana and Wynne all glare. Solona: And we're rushing off to the rescue!

Finally dragged myself through the last bit of Awakening. The expansion has its moments, but it's really not the best the franchise has to offer. I even started warming up to Oghren's banter just looking for things to like.
The 'court' scenes are awkward as hell as a Dalish Elf. Hareas was practically squirming in his armor in front of all those Ferelden nobles he knew nothing about and had nothing in common with, all of them bowing and smiling fixedly at the freaky little elf savage who killed their liege lord because the Powers That Be (coughAlistaircough) decreed that giving the Wardens an arling was totally the best idea ever.
In the end he just tried not to make too big a hash of it, figuring that he was only assigned the job to prepare the nest for the real, human Warden-Commander of Ferelden no doubt already being groomed in Weisshaupt or Orlais. So he did his duties but otherwise tried to cut the meetings short and avoid trying to engage the shemlen lords with flowery speeches. Otherwise things went pretty much as usual. Killed the conspirators when they made their move, protected the city and let the Vigil's excellent walls take care of themselves, killed the Messenger and the Architect and then that was that.
The highlight was getting to interact with Velanna as a fellow Dalish. I hadn't tried that before, and being slightly racist isolationist reluctant savior yourself makes it a lot easier to appreciate her. And after using Morrigan as a meticulous Controller for the entire original game, getting to dump all my collected endgame +Magic/Spellpower and +% Fire Damage gear on her and using her as a pure nuker with a Spellpower in the 250s range was very satisfying. Between Fireball, Earthquake and Firestom, most of the large groups of enemies died burning to death exactly where they stood.
Onwards to Witch Hunt. I'm itching to start DAII, but the DLC is just too relevant to future events, and Hareas' briefly physical relationship with Morrigan was a pretty important part of his journey. They ended up rather close even with Leliana colonizing his bedroll towards the end of the Blight, and she sounded more concerned and regretful than bitter when she left him before the final battle. Time to follow up and reconnect.

I've been working some more on my mod, did a few more restarts and now I've finally arrived at a point where I can head toward the next (and most tedious) step. It still is far of from being finished, but I'm slowly getting there
I also decided to redo my canon world (again) and decided that my hot-headed sarcastic underdog Tabris was my canon leading lady for Origins. Dusted off her head morph (slightly darkened her skin tone to have her fit between Alistair and Zevran) and reinstalled the mods I'd need for her playthrough.
So today she mowed her way through the Arl of Denerim estate, turned Vaughn into the world's biggest quiver and took the blame for his death upon herself sparing Soris. She then cheerfully went along with Duncan to Ostagar, where she quipped against anyone she met. At present she's awaiting her Joining.
I'm aiming to get her to Lothering and then wait to continue my playthrough until I have my mod finished

Turns out that if you spark things with Morrigan to the point of sleeping in her tent and receiving her ring "for tracking purposes", even without words like 'feelings' or 'relationship' ever being uttered, Witch Hunt will read the save where you have the ring in your possession as you having fully romanced her. Even if you subsequently "broke up" with her when you started sitting next to and having depraved Orlesian sex with a certain Bard who helped open your eyes to the... potential... value of human civilization and lives. My intention was for Hareas to track her down in order to clear the air after her disappointment at Redcilffe, make sure she was okay and knew that she was still his friend regardless of everything else, and offer his help and protection if she needed it. And of course ask her to return the book of Dalish lore for Ariane. Instead, it turned out that she had indeed borne him a son while he dealt with the consequences of the Blight, no Old God soul involved, and upon his insistence on wanting to see the boy she allowed him to join her to wherever she hid him, seemingly on the condition that they they act as a couple from now on. Which Hareas decided he could live with since he really was very fond of Morrigan, and his duty to his son outweighed his bond with Leliana who already returned to Orlais to serve the Divine. So I guess the conclusion to Hareas' story is that he's going to try to balance his duty as a Warden with this weird little secretive family he's accidentally formed, maybe using the more efficient travel system of the Eluvian with Morrigan's help to more or less do justice to both in the years he has left. At the cost of breaking Leliana's heart, even though that "long-distance relationship" thing was never going to work out in the long run no matter how earnest it was, medieval communication being what it is. Seriously not the ending he, or I, expected after Duncan claimed his life for the battle against the darkspawn. But probably a lot more fulfilling than he dared to hope for, and certainly more than the fate I intended for him. The mirror that took his best friend and promised him death and loneliness instead gave him glory, fellowship, victory, love and a new family. I was so startled that the game made him a dad after all and was going to let him join Morrigan even though I ultimately romanced Leliana and rejected her ritual that I clean forgot to ask her about the damn book. But hopefully there'll be time to return it later, out of respect for his own heritage. ... *stops salivating and quickly pops the DAII disc into the xbox 360, booting up the character creator* New character!!!!

Finished Act 1 in DA2 with my handsome pro-templar blood mage polearm warrior Hyram Hawke. It's the only game in the series I've never completed and don't regularly play on Nightmare difficulty because it's just too frustrating, but this time I might finally make it. Turns out that if you turn off all of Fenris' and Carver's AOE talents then they don't kill the rest of the party, which has opened up a lot of doors! The second major lesson I've learned is that the increased mobility of the party is there for a reason. You're really supposed to move around a lot in this game and take advantage of bottlenecks and broken line of sight. Aside from that, it has mostly consisted of turning Fenris, Isabela and Varric into a three-person enemy shredding machine with Fenris and my Blood Mage polearm warrior Hawke tanking, going for passive and broadly applied bonuses over circumstantial damage increases. And they've been going through the enemies like butter lately, especially after I programmed them to focus on more or less the same enemies at a time. The third lesson has been that if you go truly pro-Templar, the game actually supports it pretty well. I haven't had to doom or kill any innocent mages yet. And It's the first time I've been able to complete Ser Thrask's quest in act 1 without unnecessary bloodshed, forcing the mages who tried to escape lead by a lunatic necomancer to return to the circle, and forcing the templar hunting them to accept it. Obviously I'm getting along swimmingly with Fenris, and Anders has some serious issues with me. Unfortunately the game won't let Hawke actually respond whenever he gets on one of his 'how can you think that your fellow mages don't deserve freedom' spiels, as if there are no arguments to be made. For one thing, Hyram's hometown was ravaged and both his brother and sister taken away from him by the darkspawn unleashed by 'fellow mages' who naturally thought they were just too clever and important to have to restrain themselves, the descendants of whom also made his best friend's life a living hell. Oh, and unbeknownst to him, there's an apostate serial killer currently perving on his mother. And yeah, Carver became a Grey Warden even though I like him a lot better as a Templar because Hawke's Grey Warden contact in DAI is going to be Stroud, and I felt like there should be some basis for that. Sigh. *misses Loghain already*

hey, adonniel ! Finally got some time for a brief update, but more will be coming soon! As for my rules in this challenge I believe it was this: 1. I must make deals with every spirit and abomination I encounter, which will result in me letting them go. 2. I have to choose either Aeducan or Brosca during this play through. And I have to choose funny and mean dialogue options all the way up to Ostagar. (I'll choose them throughout the game though) 3. I have to spend some quality time at the brothel with Isabela and two of my companions. 4. I have to convince Alistair that the Right of Anullment is the correct choice of action during the Circle Quest. This action will of course have consequences... And to catch up, Karev, my Aeducan, has left Lothering and is on her way to the Circle Tower. But before that happened she actually got a little lost on the surface and came across a merchant who was kind enough to give her a special control rod for a special golem in Honnleath. So before she heads over to the Circle she's going to be taking a little detour on the way to see if the control rod really works. If not... ---- Karev made it Honnleath and indeed found a golem, but the golem didn't respond. So she investigated in a villager's house. The villager definitely knew who the golem was but wasn't going to help Karev unless she help in saving his daughter down in the basement. Karev however, had other plans in mind : Her threats persuasion tactics did not work though, so she agreed to his terms. More fighting ensued down below with spirits, which freaked Karev out. But she finally found the little girl, and her kitty. Turns out kitty was no ordinary kitty and seeks to possess the child's body. And she was not going to let the girl go without a fight. Will Karev compromise and make a deal with the spirit (yes)? If so, what sort of deal does Karev have in mind? Tune in very soon to find out.

If so, what sort of deal does Karev have in mind? Tune in very soon to find out. That dungeon puzzle is such a pain in the booty that I'm thoroughly tempted to hand the girl over to Kitty even with the good characters just so I don't have to do it all over. The Blood Mage Channel also brings Redcliffe News Leli: You have corrupted the local cleric to deceive the Knights into thinking they've got divine protection with those ankhs. Solona: What would you have me give them? I had some garlic leftover from Alistair's stew in my pocket, but that works against the vampires, not the undead. Leli: Surely, true faith comes from the heart. Solona: Yeah and it doesn't hurt to have another piece of metal between you and the spookies, next to your heart. Perth: That fire curtain coming from the oil barrels doesn't hurt either. Alistair: Hey, if I stand in the fire mid combat like the future pro King to battle the undead, you'll heal me, right? Solona: Do that and I'll feed you to the Archdemon. Lloyd: I'm giving out free booze. The world must be ending. And why am I outside instead of being locked in the basement? Owen: This lousy lot can't tell apart the sword blade from the hilt. Murdoc: We've got drunk blacksmith fixing our armour. I've got a good feeling about tonight!

So...I finished my mod the other day and well...it's...as Wade would put it...decent
I mean there's some major clipping that I can't get rid of no matter how I try to fit it to the head, but eh *shrug* I'll deal with it (my brain being all: we'll do this again once we learn meshing and make the damn thing from scratch so it'll actually fit) mostly because conversion attempt number 2 ended with me rage-quitting because it was very shiny and see-through...I'll try again at a later date Also Sten is hardly in my team anyway...so the short amount of time that he is I can deal with him having hair that doesn't properly fit
At any rate, that means tomorrow I'll be continuing Raelyn's playthrough Raelyn: *looking up from her card game* does that mean we can get going again? me: yes...sorry it took so long Raelyn: *calling to Morrigan and Alistair* boss lady says we can get moving again!

Made a new attempt with a different hairstyle and well...the result is a lot better So for now I'm going to use this hairstyle for my current playthrough...at least until I can figure out how to either make the first attempt from scratch, or find a way to make it fit better

That dungeon puzzle is such a pain in the booty that I'm thoroughly tempted to hand the girl over to Kitty even with the good characters just so I don't have to do it all over. I took a break specifically because of that. Even though I look up the solution myself, I still didn't want to go through that.
But then I realized I didn't have to...
So Karev struck a deal with the spirit that she wouldn't kill them as long as the spirit gave her what she wanted. And the spirit was happy to oblige. But instead of solving the puzzle, Karev noped out of that situation to inform the father about what exactly was going on in the cellar. Needless to say, and just as Karev predicted, He didn't take it very well.
Karev then chased the distraught father down into the cellar just to discover what she figured was going to happen afterwards: all was actually well. Well, things were pleasant for the spirit at least. And with the father, er spirit happy, the spirit happily gave Karev what she came there for.
And with a few words and introductions, Shale was finally activated and joined the party.
Now it's off to the Circle Tower. But for now, Karev is going to doze off in camp while having a normal conversation with Sten.

pelassariasWait, that questline can end with the father the one possessed? If I knew that I'd forgotten, been so long since I actually let the demon possess someone and live. Going to have to try that sometime... (Usually it ends with letting the demon think she can have the girl then yelling "Psych!" at the end, or occasionally killing the possessed girl after pushing the issue too far.)
