Hidy ho all,
I started up a new run through of Knights of the Old Republic 1, and I Managed to encounter a bug.
For the record, I have the restoration mod installed, which is supposed to add alot back into the game that was cut.
Now for the bug! I'm on Tarris (I think thats the name of the first planet), trying to get into the lower city. I Managed to get the Sith uniform, but the gaurd for the lower city won't let me past. He keeps asking me for papers, which should be in the lower city.
Not sure what I'm going to do about that yet, but there it is.

Yea, can't get to the undercity to talk to him. Sith gaurd won't let me pass. Gadon is in the lower city not the undercity. massive difference. hint: talk to random NPCs within the lower city to find him. |

Right-o. This is probably my 5th play through. Just got my names mixed up, in my above posts under city = lower city.
Right now, the sith gaurd is saying he won't let me into the lower city w/out papers. Even if I'm wearing the sith armor. Hence my idea that this is a bug.

I think the mod affects the guard check - instead of just checking you, it checks your companion too. So you might need to dismiss your companion before you get through and summon them back later.

Lol, I was about to post here about trying that.
it worked, and I'm now down in the lower city.
I had to run back to the apartment, because I couldn't figure out how to dismis carth, then run back to the elevator. But I was able to figure out how to add him back into the party once I got to the lower level. Time to slice and dice some becks! (I think thats who attacks you)
